There is no Dollar Rent-A-Car at the indicated address in Belfast. When I finally found the place, it was a Hertz. Not being able to find the location because it had A DIFFERENT NAME was very frustrating.Reviewed 15 Jul 2026

It took forever to pick up my reserved car and there was attempted wheeling and dealing at the counter. It should not take multiple phone calls and over 15 minutes to pick up a reservation—or to ask me to choose a completely different size vehicle because that’s all that’s left.Reviewed 15 Jul 2026

I was told we would have a ford transit to fit my 6 individuals and all their luggage. I even called in advance with no answer. I was given a kia caravan and told it would fit us all. Obviously it did not. So I had to rent another vehicle but was asked ti return it to California. I couldn't do so because we we were flying out of Las Vegas. So not only did I pay extra for a 2nd vehicle I was charged nearly $230 for not returning it to California. Not happy at all and will be telling all my friends who travel often to not rent from you.Reviewed 13 Jul 2026

Dollar would not accept my member number at the counter because I had rented through a third party. Thus, I had to pay for my spouse to be a secondary driver. Their response, “take it up with corporate.” I have not had that experience with other car rentals through a third party before.
