Pros: Everything! Very spacious as we had a travel cot in the main bedroom with us. The welcome package was also a nice little touch. We went on a wet week in October but imagine it would be fantastic in Summer!
Cons: The stairs were a bit creaky...but I suppose that's part of the charm of the building!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: A lovely find. We visit the area often. Our room and other areas were spot less. All the staff wear a big smile and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely choice for breakfast. We would definitely book this venue again.
Cons: Size of the television. It is rather on the small size
7.4 Good
Pros: Big comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Room Very clean and cared for.
Cons: Noise from adjacent bathroom. insulation is needed between rooms. Could even hear conversation and late night ablutions and showers plus extractor fan noise next door kept us awake.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The building was clean and looked newly renovated, it was also warm which is what you need in November! The room was warm and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was freshly made to my order and was really tasty.
Cons: The only downside was the location. Google maps doesn't find it very well but that's not the fault of the B&B.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I felt welcome and at home. Lovely people.
Cons: Arrived specifically between 4-6pm to check in so as not to follow detailed instructions regarding key safes. But no one there and had to go the key safe route anyway. Bit disappointing but was talked through it without issues so all ended well and the following 2 night stay made up for it.

Pros: We had an enjoyable one night stay. Comfortable room (Edwardian) and exceptionally clean roomy bathroom with lovely white towels and nice toiletries....too nice to leave behind when partly used!!! The whole place was beautifully warm, there was even a small fire in the restaurant. Lovely. My husband had the cooked English breakfast and said it’s one of the best he’s ever had. High praise indeed.

Hotel Forty One - Driffield - Bedroom
4
8.9 Excellent (238 reviews)
Overview Reviews

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything was great. Breakfast was lovely although egg whites slimey which I just removed. They needed slightly longer cooking. But we really enjoyed breakfast and our stay here. Room was very clean!!!!!! :))))) Staff are brilliant! Can't help you enough! Thanks :)
Cons: Only thing was no Wi-Fi in room and no movies/sky/Netflix. And pillows very lumpy. But these things did not affect our stay as the room was super cosy and staff were fantastic and so helpful.Need more tea coffee and milk in rooms and change the cheap kettle as it doesn't pour well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We both enjoyed breakfast and the friendly staff, room was quirky but comfortable, everything was clearly very new and spotlessly clean.
Cons: Wasn't made clear that the place essentially closes at 6PM on Sunday, as it was we were meeting Family elsewhere for a meal in the evening but we couldn't get a nightcap when we returned. Also the lack of Car Parking was certainly not made clear. We had a funeral to attend the following morning and obviously a change of clothing from travel to formal was required so we had a lot more luggage than a normal overnight stay. The Car park close to the Hotel only allows 2 hours stay! No Night Porter, just emergency mobile phone nos. I'm not sure that meets H&S requirements for Hotels?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast, freshly cooked , good choices too. Room and bathroom really good quality, very stylish rooms. We would love to stay and have a meal I( the Sunday roasts looked good! )
Cons: The wifi wasn't working in our room-staff weren't around in the evening for us to tell them. Lack of a manned reception at night made me feel a bit uneasy-though there were no problems at all. (We've stayed here before and still returned, despite that)
7.0 Good
Pros: Unfortunately despite paying for the breakfast on both the mornings I was there, I did not partake so cannot comment on the breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable and appear to have been recently refurbished. Although there is an in house restaurant as the location is very central there are plenty of eating establishments within a few minutes walk.
Cons: The hotel is right on the main road through Driffield and so traffic noise was an issue in my room which was facing the main road. The biggest drawback is that there are no parking facilities at the hotel whatsoever and as you are on the main road you cannot stop briefly even to check in or drop off bags without disrupting the traffic. You are directed to a free car park which is a comfortable 10 mins walk away which could be an issue for elderly patrons carrying a lot of luggage. It is also noted that this car park serves the town and is generally always full through the day. Thankfully when I made the trip from the car park to the hotel on each occasion, it was dry as you would be soaked if it was raining.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice room, good food and staff friendly.
Cons: Lumpy pillows and no car park. Large car park just a few minutes walk away but offsite.

Pros: Room good value for a one night business stay.
Cons: There is no food available at weekends.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great little pub. We arrived with 2 bikes and were very dirty on our C2C journey. The staff were brill at check in, stored our bikes safely and the room was fab- very comfy and quiet. Loved the pub and the staff bent over backwards to help us. Thank you so much!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and welcoming
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and locals
Cons: Kitchen closed due to Xmas period
4.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was ok.
Cons: The room was very basic, beds uncomfortable, but clean. The lighting was awful, had to get out of bed to turn light on and off, no bedside lamp, no bedside table beside the single beds. The bathroom was tiny, smelled of damp. The toilet roll holder fell off the wall as soon as I touched it, the shelf was at such an angle nothing stayed on it, and it was also almost coming out of the wall. The tiny wash basin flooded onto the floor if you were not very careful. The toilet pan was stained and obviously never bleached. The bathroom door squeaked so loudly, I was afraid I would disturb other guests in the night. It took us about 15 minutes to get any sound on the TV, no instructions on how to work it. This too was very wobbly on the wall. The pull switch for the wall lights above the double bed was a very dirty piece of string, with no end on it. The room was in dire need of upgrading.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable rooms, very good food and outstandingly friendly and helpful staff
Cons: None
7.7 Good
Pros: Quality of the rooms, and the friendliness of the staff. Location of the hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant excellent, great service and very good food. Must be amongst the premier hotels in the East Riding.
7.7 Good
Pros: All of it. It's a great hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is one of the nicest and relaxing places we have ever stayed at. All the staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The food served both in the restaurant and pub bar was excellent and the hand pulled ale was especially good. The rooms even the ' traditional' priced one which we had was spotless and of a high standard. We will definitely be returning in the near future!
Cons: Everything was excellent
5.7 Okay
Pros: Most staff polite and attentive clean room and good breakfast
Cons: Most staff polite except one young male in the dining room who did not acknowledge you even though we were waiting by him to ask him a question - very rude actually! The ground floor room would benefit from a window blind as we had to keep the curtain closed for privacy so had no natural daylight. A safety handle in the shower room would be ideal as quite dangerous stepping out of the bath. More choice at breakfast would be nice - ie fresh fruit salad and porridge but the quality was good,
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel offered a high quality service, really impressive rooms, excellent food and impecably well mannered staff. shame we only stayed one night
Cons: No bad points
7.6 Good
Pros: Comfortable room; excellent service, good bar food.
Cons: A mirror close to a power point in the room would have been appreciated. Likewise fresh fruit available at the breakfast bar in the morning.
7.2 Good
Pros: Decorated and maintianed beautifully, staff very friendly and helpful, food wonderful
Cons: Not really any bad points but I guess the service in the bar, when we ordered a bottle of wine it was just put on the bar and not actually opened for us which I thought a bit odd.
6.0 Good
Pros: Convenient for place we had to visit
Cons:
