Pros: We were given a nicely refurbed upgrade from a superior double to a suite with 2 tv's, a tub , a proper double bed, kettle, heated towel rail and a ceiling fan. The frokost was good and hot..Good tv and wifi reception. The 'pool'/ waterpark.was only suitable for children. Near to the station. Parking close by and cheap.

Cons: The staff were a little grumpy on occasions, but some went the extra mile. However, they were unable to repair the guest computer as the machine was password locked.The mouse was also missing.The hotel was noisy due to half term and the local shipyard at 4am.The tv reception was flakey. Extra towels were 20Dkk each. The checkout was at 11am, but we left early. Poor value, even with upgrade.

Pros: The Water Land is fantastic and such a great place for family with kids

Pros: The pool area is fantastic and makes the stay worthwile! It is a perfect resort for families with children and we would always come back because of that!

Cons: Except for the pool, the hotel itself is not very inviting. The breakfast was horrible. The rooms and restaurants are ok, but nothing more. I would not go here if it was for a romantic stay or so, its just because of the perfect pool area.

Cons: We had to move from our first room. 404 I think because it smelt too bad. 402 our new room, didn't smell great, but was ok. We recieved a parking ticket that was completely unfair in your parking lot.

Cons: we arrived at 2 in the morning and it would have helped if the extra bed was already made so we didnt have to make the bed at this time.

Pros: The Hotel rooms were nice and comfy, and the breakfast spread was good as well!

Cons: This Hotel used to be sas Radisson Jutlandia Hotel, but in the new year, it was bought out by a family business ( which is not bad I suppose), but however there is a 60dkr for Parking??? And if you don't have this ticket you get a hefty fine, so watch out! The other unimpressed issue is that they don't do Lunch (despite the Receptionist saying they do?), bbut there is plenty of bars and restauarnts at the back of teh hotel! Also the attitude of the waiter could have been better, and the value of the food also!

Pros: Hotel was close to work and interesting shopping and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Reception and FREE parking behind the building, very practical.

Cons: The bathroom was the only the negative thing- very small. The shower is tiny too. Soap dispenser in the shower. Weird and cheap. TV was small but worked fine with enough channels. Coffee is not strong, but that was the same in all Danish hotels we were at.

Cons: Rotten molded house...got a new room after complaining about mold in the first. Second wasnt mold in it but its going to be very soon if they dont take care of the "wet" parts. They pir some "parfume" to try to cover up the smell wich wasnt very good for allergies

Cons: The staff was not that polite and welcoming, they treated us like beggars! They said breakfast was included in the reservation but when we got there they said we have to pay for it, and it was like way more expensive than eating at a restaurant! It was 95 kr. or something, I mean by half this amount of money you can have a nice breakfast! Furthermore, the reception was one place and the bed was another place, I mean it shouldn’t be called bed and breakfast when the bed is that far from the breakfast!! Totally disappointed

Cons: We received the worst service ever! Very rude and unhelpful managers. The webpage advertised a shared lounge/tv area, a games area - pool table and table football, a tv in the room and coffee making facilities. NONE of these were at our BnB! They removed the games area, the shared tv lounge and the coffee making facilities, and the tv in our room didn’t work. We were traveling with two young children so were relying on these things to make our stay easier. When we told the manager about this, she just replied “Check out then!” Neither the old woman that we spoke to or the other manager called Lars tried to help us at all. It was the worst service I’ve ever received at a hotel/hostel/BnB, and I’ve travelled to over 30 countries. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They should be ashamed and sacked.

Cons: No shohorns in the room. It's a very affordable comfort that is quite cumbersome to be without.

Pros: Close to the station and the city centre. Spacious room and bathroom. The breakfast was really good.

Cons: The cleanness of bathroom: the floor was dirty and spotted especially around the wc, and the hairdryer was stuck with dirt. The room number was 341.

Cons: The room and bathroom was impossibly small for 2 people with luggage. The bathroom sink was miniscule. A disappointment for a Best Western.

Pros: The room was spacious and the bathroom clean. The bed was too soft for us. We like a firm mattress. The included buffet breakfast was exceptional, as good as or better than we have had in more expensive hotels. The restaurant was also value for money and had a great atmosphere. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to the ferry to Oslo. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Comfortable and clean hotel in a very good location in this small town Fredrikshavn. The town itself is very cozy and there are several restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Cons: There was nothing specially wrong with this hotel but somehow I did not get the feeling that i was being cared for.

Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The decor was both comfortable and interesting.

Cons: A good reading light or two would have been useful.

Pros: The balcony is so greenery and comfy. Dinning place is classically decorated. Very nice to offer early checkin for us.

Cons: The only hot dish of breakfast is pan-fried salmon. Would be great if there are more options.

Pros: We had the most welcoming greeting on arrival here which continued throughout our evening. Our host took the time to show us to our room and explain where to find parking . Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with the usual amenities. The bar area is very cosy and again you are well looked after by the host. We loved the cosy and quaint decor and bar snacks which were provided with our drinks. Breakfast was lovely in a very nice dining room and provided good variety. This hotel is a little gem which is brought to life by the wonderful staff. Thanks for such a lovely stay. Highly recommend a stop here and yes we would return in a heartbeat

Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Nice airy dining room and breakfast could be eaten outside. Free parking right outside the room. Nice comfortable room. Tip, ask for a first floor room so you are not bothered by footfall noise above you. Good coffee. Quiet location.

Pros: Great to turn off the highway and within 30 seconds park right outside the room. Superb ‘kro’ Møllegaarden five minutes walk away. Breakfast was really good.

Cons: They want to charge DKK 200 (25 euros) to send a very light phone charger that we forgot in the room. This significantly add to the cost of the room. They don’t properly follow up on messages. It seems that they will answer exactly one time and ignore any other follow up that might be required by the situation. They advertised that reception closes at 10pm but they proceeded sending me a private message warning me that reception closes at 9pm. This is a significant change in plans. If you have commitments while travelling (be in certain places at certain times), you cannot rely on this place. It’s a Motel, behind a gas station next to a large parking lot...

Cons: Curtains needed repair, Breakfast was one your delayed saturday June 22.

Pros: Very good service

Cons: The hotel is actually motel. The rooms have an older camping standard, but the house for the front desk and breakfast is better.

Pros: Location is good, right next to the harbour... good for when you are shipping in/out with late or early ferries. Wifi is available and free of charge

Cons: The rooms are VERY low standard, bed/mattress were sloppy and worn out. Bathroom is a single unit with no cover for the shower. The breakfast was very basic as well (salami, cheese, jam and cornflakes). They don't clean daily (!), dont bring out the trash etc. or change towels/linen. In their "manual" they said everything was to keep costs down - yeah but at the cost of the comfort of the traveler who wants to stay under your roof! I cant fathom anybody who would want to stay longer than the first night. We also found hair from previous occupants in the shower drain. Yuck.

Pros: The Hotel is very conveniently situated for railway station, ferry services and the beautiful town centre. Comfortable beds and excellent heating. Generous breakfast included. Easy keyless access to main door and bedroom.

Cons: Two small things - poor lighting (one switch broken) and very slow emptying basin.

Cons: Bad smell in the bathroom when we arrived, but that disappeared when we fill the water lock in the shower and the sink with water. The bathroom light could not be turned off. It was not a practical problem since the door could be locked, but maybe not that good energy efficiency.

Cons: The lack of English used by the staff. Broken wine glasses in the cupboard . Accommidation was dirty.

Pros: The cleanliness was impressive ! Very nice installations (indoor pool, playground, minigolf) and we were so close to the quiet wood were we could walk our dog up to the lovely harbourg.

Pros: The cottage was clean and seemed like recently renovated. There was a warm and nice indoor pool for guests to use, outdoor sports areas for kids and the famous Palm Beach right next to the camping area.

Pros: Very nice camping area, good location, nice cottage, common toilet and bathroom facilities were excellent.

Cons: Toilet door in the cottage was a bit broken. The last guests before us had not cleaned the cottage so well.
