We were never able to pick up our car. Green Motion did not show up to the pick up location. After calling their number and speaking to someone several times, who instructed us to wait for them at a particular cafe, we waited but no one ever showed up. We emailed after 90+ minutes and eventually gave up and took a taxi to our hotel. Green Motion never responded. It was a terrible experience.Reviewed 6 Sept 2026

Greenmotion failed to provide me with an hire car because they did not accept the accident and collision coverage provided by my Visa credit card. My credit card has always covered this insurance for more than 30 years of hiring cars provided I don't take out the hire car insurance. Two other people were not able to successfully hire a car from Greenmotion for other reasons, I think, also while I was there trying to solve the problem with them.Reviewed 6 Sept 2026

Security Deposits are large in size and of course it ends up costing more due to foreign exchange fees which are not refunded back to you by credit cards when the deposit is given back . Copies of the inspection were not given , car was not clean upon pick up neither was the fuel topped up . They also charged an extra $25 euro for late hour pick up amd early morning pick up .even though I paid for that day . This is uncommon and a cash grab . If you as a business work with tourists catching a flight at 7am and want business you open ! Don’t charge extra $25 euro ! Don’t take advantage of clients at every opportunity to charge for extras . The rental fees are high enough . The pick up was nerve racking as nobody was waiting for us with a welcome sign . Of course we had no cellphone plan as yet . Counter service people were good. Business has hidden charges everywhere. Bald guy wearing blue shirt for car wash company in charge of giving me the keys was really not kind and was actually a huge jerk. Made his business and colleagues look bad by being impatient and storming away when I asked about charges that were not on contract initially.Reviewed 24 Aug 2026

Green Motion was a total scam. The ad says the car rental is inside of the airport is not. I had to find them through google maps. Tried to call them to send the shuttle. Nobody picked up for more than 1h. Then took a taxi there. For them to tell me they have no cars available. There was around 8 people there with the same problem. I ask them to cancel the booking, (when they should already have done it before) they said to call the broker instead. It didn’t look a legit company at all. Awful experience, I want my money back. The ad said the rental place was within the terminal: this is not true. Upon arrival, we could not locate any sign for Green motion, called the company, they said to wait in the parking lot (we're talking 40 degrees C, no shade) for a van with a RecordGo sign on it (??). The van took us to a parking lot where a kiosk with the same sign, RecordGo: we waited in line for almost 3 hours (again, close to 40 degrees, no seats, no shade, insane!!) only to be told it was the wrong office!
