There were 5 people In line. It took 2 hours to get to the desk. Many employees came in and saw the back up but instead of helping the customers, they chatted with other employees and chatted with the only person behind the counter, slowing the process even more. The vehicle was very dirty. The mileage on my paper work said the vehicle had 200k miles when it only had 150k on the odometer. The paper work said the gas was at 3/4 of a tank. The vehicle actually only had 1/4 tank. The A/C knobs were broken. The steering wheel was sticky and there was dirt of the passenger seat and trash on the floor in the back.Reviewed 10 Nov 2024

Worst experience ever. Hidden driving permissions charges. Extra charges for carwash even though Car is completely clean. All this charges must be payed previously receiving the car. None of this extra hidden charges are notified in web, they said it was an error of the page and they reported that this charges must be placed, but, they made you pay or cancel your reservation without a refund...is a complete scam...Reviewed 6 Nov 2024

They charged allot of money for cleaning but gave a dirty car, the car was old and car play wasnt working, after they showed a scratch on one side and charged allot saying it need to paint the full side. They are unfair people and will never rent again.Reviewed 3 Nov 2024

Would not rent me the car as I didn’t have two form of proof of address for the address listed on my drivers license (I did have them for my rental address where I live). Only solution offered was to pay them a c. £200 up front fee as a waiver.Reviewed 28 Oct 2024

I will never rent from this company again. They get you in the fine print with their insane insurance requirements, forcing you to purchase their coverage which is 3x the cost of the rental. They are also poorly located about 20 min from the rental car terminal at the airport. When they drop you off, they do not take you to the departures terminal, so you have to take another team.Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

Not a good experience. Office was closed in the middle of the day when we went to pick up the car. The car was not well maintained (radio did not work, maintenance lights on, low tire pressure light on etc.). Unexpected fees were also added on by the company quadrupling the cost of the rental. Finding the Green Motion at Waverley Station was very challenging. It was located in a parking garage with no clear markers or signs. We had to ask for help from multiple people to find the office. Once we arrived, the extra fees for insurance were extremely expensive. The hidden fees after they lure you in feel very scam like. The car itself was comfortable and clean. No complaints there, but when we went to drop off the vehicle, they wanted to charge us upwards of 400 pounds for a dent that already existed when we got the car. The staff were extremely rude and condescending about it, and made no offer for us to speak with upper management. They proceeded to tell us we were liable for costs even though when we picked up the car they said it had the dent. Everything about this agency felt underhanded and deceiving, like their ultimate goal is to get as much money from you as possible, but lure you in initially with the best price. I would NOT recommend Green Motion to anyone traveling and in search of a rental vehicle.Reviewed 12 Oct 2024
