Pros: We enjoyed staying in the heritage part of the hotel. It really did feel like going back in time. The suite was very comfortable with everything you'd expect from a hotel of this level. The staff in front of house were extremely helpful.
Cons: The pool in the heritage section was closed for our entire stay. However the pool at the victory wing was pleasant and not too far to walk. The gym in the heritage section has little in the way of cardio equipment but again, there is a full range in the gym in the other section.

Cons: 1. Check in was a fiasco - booking could not be traced. 2. Breakfast fare very unimaginative and coffee machine was broken. 3. Aircon in our original room was not working - a bit better in the room we eventually occupied. 4. But the windows and carpets in this room were filthy. 5. Lifts are not aligned with guests regularly tripping. 6. We had to visit the washroom in the lobby to replenish the loo paper in our bathroom. 7. Cupboard doors would not shut properly so the interior light was on all the time, including at night. 8. Only one sports channel which was showing beach volley-ball instead of UK premier league - handset was not working. 9. The (so called) Club Lounge comprised a few arm chairs scattered around and little else. 10. Despite paying for late check out when we checked in, the room keys were not updated and did not work after the normal check out time without going back to reception. 11. WiFi was OK when it worked - but there was one user-name for the room and another for lobby ie we had to keep logging on whenever we left or entered the room. 12. The signature on a restaurant bill charged to the room account was a clear forgery. 13. Obvious collusion between hotel staff and local taxi drivers particularly on the airport run with refusal to use the meter.

It has 2 TVs, one in the room and one in the living hall which is great coz me and my friend get to watch the program we each wanted.
There's jacuzzi in the room, shower stall and the toilet is separated too. There's also another toilet near the door entrance of the room so..again there's no need to wait for the use of toilet incase both are in need to use the toilet.
The receptionist & staffs are all very friendly so my stay with them are pretty pleasant. Request for high floor, near lift and non smoking room were all met and the room given was seaview which was really nice.

Cons: A slight hiccup with the booking as their record seems to have captured a wrong rate i paid, fortunately i had printed the payment page together with the booking confirmation for reference so they did not detain me too long on the issue. ( seems the record in their system reflects that i only paid 2 nights instead of 3)
Inconvenience with the parking as we have to get the ticket endorsed everytime before we exit and should we return after midnight, we'll have to get the ticket from the reception before we can exit the carpark the next day.
It's just a small matter but I'm kinda fussy about it.... the blanket is really not very presentable. It looks a little worn & old, and it looks like the inner layer of my blanket back home. ( the kind where the blanket inner layer can be taken out for dry cleaning from the outer cover/casing)

Pros: Good location. Good air conditioning . Could have been cleaner, mould on tile in shower.. long hair on the floor.. tried to tell staff to no result.. but on the whole for price I was comfortable as only there late evening to sleep. Wi fi up & down..

Pros:
Cons: My father FALL down outside the Share Bathroom as the floor very slippy. The staff admit that day he back early, so NO mop the floor. My father had to get operation to change the fracture pelvis. Whole property is old & broken wooden floor everywhere, certain bathroom no hot shower, leaking ceiling, hair dryer not function, only 1 plug in 4 person family room, toilet bowl dirty, water cooker broken, wardrobe & bed head broken, bed sheet dirty. car park area small.

Cons: The wifi barely worked, really slow and went off quite a lot. The security guard was like the shoe police, she wouldn’t even let us wear slipper or shower shoes to walk from the bedroom to the bathroom. Also you have to pay a tourist tax AND a heritage tax so be warned of that.
