Pros: I enjoyed the hotel, but I had higher expectations based on what I read before arriving. The location was great! Everything we did was within walking distance, and the brewpub was delicious!
Cons: Our "mountain view" looked down on a busy street corner so we couldn't actually leave the curtains open during the day. I'm a light sleeper so I had the pleasure of listening to someone near us have a conversation at 5am
Pros: We have two dogs and always feel catered to at this hotel. The rooms are unique, and the staff is always accommodating to our needs.
Cons: We were initially placed in a room next to a very loud group of people. We were tired and wanted to sleep so we were moved. The only minor inconvenience.
Located near a train station, The Hotel Denver is a great choice for a stay in Glenwood Springs. You can relax with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: This hotel is newly remodeled with mew beds that are somewhat soft but cozy with down comforters and crisp sheets. Bathrooms are new, room includes mini kitchenette with fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Smelled wonderfully clean - felt very clean. Staff is welcoming. Location off the main drag with. Step out front porch area to sit outside if you wish. No bells and whistles, but by far the best value motel I've seen in Glenwood.
Pros: Arrived a bit late in the evening, the owner was in the office, and was wonderful! Enjoyed a nice chat, was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice king bed room, super clean, comfy bed, this was the best hotel value I've had a really long time! Definitely would recommend this place and I will be coming back here the next time I visit Glenwood Springs!
Pros: The family room had plenty of room. Breakfast was great!
Pros: The price is great for the size of the room - we had two queen beds and bunk beds. The continental breakfast was by far the best ever. My teenage kids talked about how good the eggs were the rest of our trip. Very clean as well.
Pros: Received a very welcome free upgrade to a suite. Wonderful large shower and jetted tub. We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Not a luxury location but a very good value.
Pros: Was right off the interstate, great location. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Cons: One certain staff member was pretty rude. Don't ask for extra towels or shampoo! He gets upset.
Pros: Balcony was nice size
Pros: The hotel was in a convenient location and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast was satisfying.
Pros: Great beds and rooms
Pros: Rooms nice, room to walk around
Cons: Breakfast was lack luster, thin walls....heard upstairs people walking around all night.

Pros: We wanted to break up a 7 hour trip because we have a little one. We decided to stay at this hotel because of its amenities. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were very clean and quiet, and the pool was great and we loved the kids section. We will most certainly be staying here again!
Pros: Was a very nice place for us as a couple but would be good for families too. Central location makes it a very convenient to go anyplace in Glenwood and outside of the town.
We were upgraded to a very lovely room which was a surprise. Our room was large with a whirlpool tub and quite comfortable.
Cons: My only complaint it their free breakfast. It is very lacking in choices. We often stay in a Hampton Inn in Gallup New Mexico on our way to my son's him in AZ where their free breakfast buffet includes several hot choices, like potatoes, eggs, sausage, bacon, hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, along with a variety of fresh pastries, toast, bagels, and English muffins. A far cry from the short list of options we were offered. We chose to go elsewhere several times.
Pros: Conveniently close to the town attractions. An indoor waterpark at the hotel. And complimentary breakfast. Courteous and helpful staff.
Pros: From the moment we checked in we noticed something special about the Hotel Glenwood Springs - amazing customer service. From the front desk staff to housekeeping, we found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Our room was great and the water park was perfect for our 8-year-old son. We loved how dog friendly the hotel was and it was great to have "all" of our family together.
Pros: Service, rooms, pool was excellent, breakfast, location, so friendly to our dog
Cons: Bedding was OK, but not great. Asked for more pillows and were provided instantly.
Pros: Great service, perfect for a family of four. We will definitely go back.
Pros: Amazing, clean, fresh, great view
Cons: Need better breakfast
Pros: Great place for kids and adults

Pros: Clean room and nice beds. Continental breakfest was hot and tasty.
Pros: Nice room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff
Pros: I loved my room and the people were so friendly. Great stay!

Pros: It is a comfortable hotel. Location at a walking/short drive distance from shops and attractions.
Cons: Breakfast was not a good level. No offering of fresh baked goods. Canned fruit offerings of papaya and pineapple were not fresh and did not taste good. Coffee was nothing special and had no real taste of coffee
Pros: Nice hotel / good breakfast
Cons: To expensive

Cons: On a bussiness and didn't get to to bring my family.
Pros: The staff was really helpful. I needed change in order to do laundry, and Denise, who had just started, didn't have the change available. But she went the extra mile to get that change for me, and then find me in the fitness room and give it to me.
I really appreciate the level of service provided and the overall friendliness of the staff.
I was also traveling in a Tesla, and the fact that there was a supercharger next door was very convenient.
Cons: Need a better bar to hangout and be able to watch the game and a fire place.
Pros: love your staff
Pros: Quit great lobby atmosphere clean great size clean bed big bathroom great place
Cons: No continental breakfast

Pros: It was an okay hotel other then a couple of things the irked me.
Cons: I got to the hotel about 5 hours before their check in time hoping they would let me check in. I got a stern no so my friend and i sat in the parking lot for about an hour to figure out what we were going to do, we saw about 5 groups of people leave the hotel looking like they were checking out. We even asked to check in again and they told us no. Also when we got back from a busy day at about 1 am thats when we had to check in, we walked into our room and it was probably 30 degrees. The heat had been turned off so we crawled into bed with all of our snowboard clothes on to find that the only blankets were pretty much 3 layers of sheets so my friend went to the front desk to ask for more blankets...of course they didn't have anymore. So we literally slept in all of our snowboard gear, including coats because it was so cold in our room.
Pros: We try to stay at the Best Western Antlers evey year. It isn't the lowest price but to me it is the best value. The grounds are beautiful, he continental breakfast is great. We have tried other Glenwood hotels but this is our favorite.
Cons: Our room was a little musty when we walked in but it cleared when we lowered the air conditioning a bit.
Pros: Playground and kiddie pool
Cons: No late check out
The Best Western Antlers is the most spacious, picturesque, and unique hotel property in the Roaring Fork Valley. This resort-style motor lodge is designed for relaxation and family fun. Unlike any other Glenwood Springs hotel our 99 guest rooms and suites sit upon five acres of land, the largest hotel property in downtown. Enjoy on-site amenities like seasonal paddle tennis, horseshoes, two playgrounds, seasonal heated pool and toddler pool, indoor hot tub, picnic and bbq areas. Modern conveniences like wireless Internet access make this the best choice for hotels in Glenwood Springs. The location is convenient to dining, shopping, and recreational activities. Parking is plentiful and readily available for all types of vehicles. Traveling with a large family or group? Some of our room configurations can accommodate up to six people to a room!
Cons: Check in was a disaster. 3:00 check in means 4:00 to their staff with no apologies. They changed the bed request from king to 2 queens for one of the couples in our party with no explanation. We sat and waited for our room to be ready for 50 minutes while party after party were handed their room keys after us. The clerk was rude and just said they were really busy. Not even I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We were late to our granddaughter's first birthday because of their incompetence. Not happy.
Pros: Overall it was good!
Cons: Parking was bad, we couldn't find a parking spot because they didn't have enough.

Pros: Was a good place to rest our heads for the night but of course nothing too fancy. Breakfast was decent. Good location-- convenient and close to downtown (driving distance) and only 20 minutes to the hanging lake trailhead!
Cons: The lights in our room didn't work and the room felt old and a bit musty. Smelled like smoke despite being a non smoking room. All in all though, not bad for a cheap price and we were just there for one night to rest up for Hanging Lake so it fit the bill!!
Pros: Great place to stay. It was like an old Motor lodge of the 50's but updated. Had some nice green areas with picnic tables and bbq grills . Had benches or chairs outside the rooms if you wanted to sit outside. Nice lobby and breakfest that someone was there taking care of. Great place to stay and ride your bicycle out of, witch is what we were doing there. Bike path is just across the street behind Wendy's. All this for a great price. This is the first review I have done, but I thought I should give this place a shout. I don't know for sure but I thought maybe it was a owned by a family who takes great pride in the place.
Cons: Didn't plan to stay longer, but we'll be back next year.
Pros: The location was good, with a Starbucks right across the street, which was nice, as the included breakfast was pretty poor. The room was good sized.
Cons: We were two doors from a stairwell, but could still hear seemingly every footstep on the stairs. The breakfast room was immediately under us and we could hear the first guests arrive at 6:40 am.
Pros: The hotel was clean, in a good location, quiet, and in good shape. We thought that overall the hotel was comfortable and of good value.
Cons: The wi-fi was a little slow and the showers were a little loud (from other guest rooms), but serious nothing that would deture us from staying again.
Pros: Vey comfortable bed, nice room, WIFI worked well, good breakfast w/ plenty of variety. We will stay there again when in Glenwood.
Cons: only bad thing was because it's a large facility we had to park a ways away from our room, not a big deal, we just double parked to unload/load close and then went and parked.
Pros: We arrived early(11am) so we were not able to check in but staff let us drop our camper for the day as we wanted to tour the town and didn't want to try to find parking for the whole rig. Very family friendly, kids on bikes and scooters and the pool seemed nice. There was even a covered patio with a grill and picnic benches which a small family reunion were taking advantage of.
Cons: Would have liked a little more options for the breakfast but it was free so hard to complain about that, fruit, pastries, cold cereal, bread, typical continental.
When visiting Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Springs Cedar Lodge is a great choice to consider. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or splash around at the indoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Room was well kept. Site offered a nice outdoor pool, laundry room and nice complimentary breakfast. There was a restaurant adjoining the hotel but we chose to walk a block to a nice diner.
Cons: We were given a second story room even though we had requested the first floor if possible. The steps were a bit of a problem when carrying heavy luggage upstairs and there was no elevator or bellman available.
Pros: Very convenient location. Warm welcome and quick check- in process
Cons: It just happened to be a loud crowd over this past weekend
Caravan Inn is a great choice for a stay in Glenwood Springs. Guests can grab a bite to eat at one of the 2 restaurants, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. There's also a seasonal outdoor pool, and rooms offer refrigerators and free WiFi.
Pros: Very clean. Nice bed. Good shower. Excellent value for this area.

Pros: We loved the management, great, friendly, very helpful. you can tell they take great pride in the place and what they do. It was clean and well taken care of. price was good too.
Cons: Would have liked . to have some fruit and yogurt available for breakfast
Pros: Clean rooms, great value!

Pros: The building itself is beautiful, and it's location right in the middle of Glenwood Springs is perfect to take advantage of local attractions. Also, all of the staff were very friendly and service was top-notch.
Cons: It's an older neighborhood, so parking is at a premium during peak tourist days. Also, we were there during abnormally warm weather, and the hotel isn't air conditioned. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
Pros: Beautiful, vintage building. Staff was awesome, everyone from the concierge to the janitors were super friendly. The hotel is perfectly located for a vacation in Glenwood Springs.
Cons: It's not air conditioned and the two days we were there were abnormally warm. Prepare accordingly.
Pros: Loved the history and character of the old hotel. Loved the story behind its past and also loved the proximity to the hot springs. Also loved the courtyard. Beautiful and peaceful. The courtyard and lobby were the best parts. The front desk gave our kids teddy bears when we checked in (part of their Teddy Roosevelt history)
Beds were clean and very comfortable. Rooms were still historical and therefore may not suit everyone's expectations but we loved the old furniture and architecture. Lots of historical photos etc throughout, especially on the 5th floor.
Cons: The road noise was terrible. We literally were woken up each night from horns, engines and brakes etc. Our room was on the south west side. The hotel unfortunately is literally adjacent (like 10 feet) to highway 82 which is a main corridor for big rigs and semis etc. The road noise from I-70 really wasn't very noticable compared to the local traffic accessing 82. Make sure you request a courtyard room or a room on the east side as they are much quieter. (We asked for a quieter room but we were told they were full)
Also, the bathrooms Have no counter space with pedestal sinks only. We had to keep some of our toiletries on the toilet and on the ground because there was no where to put it next to sink. Our room also did not have a coffee maker. Only some rooms have coffee makers.
If you're traveling with kids or toddlers then don't open the windows. The Windows are still original style with counter weights that open all the way. Our room had screens in the Windows but they were not held to the window sill. i.e. a toddler could easily fall out.
Pros: Hotel is supposedly haunted!
Pros: The staff were attentive friendly and even fun to talk to. The central location of the Hotel made it easy to walk or drive for everything we needed. Thanks again to the staff for being fun and professional. Food was great to.
Pros: I like the historic character of this old hotel and it's close proximity (walking distance) to the Glenwood Springs Pool as well as restaurants.
Cons: While the room I was given was supposed to be non-smoking (and was clearly marked as such) it had a definite bad smell, one I associate with having been smoked in. I had to open the windows and sleep with them open in order to have some fresh air, meaning I had some traffic noise. (Maybe they need to change out the carpet??) My granddaughter thought the bathtub was dirty because the old non-stick thingies on the bottom had brownish residue stuck to them, i.e., it didn't look clean. Those are my only complaints.
Pros: all good
Cons: even though it was not a problem, there is not air conditioning in the rooms. Good ceiling fans, but not a problem this time of year.
Potential guest should know there is heat, but no cooling in the rooms.
Pros: Everything was amazing
Cons: The stay was amazing up until an hour befor our check out. A manager let himself in. Noticed we were still there and he very rudely told us we needed to leave right now because a new customer would be checking into that room within the hour. It was only barely past 12 and out check out time was 1
Pros: I liked that it was close to the hot springs and just a short walk over the bridge to downtown. Also I liked the historical value and appearance of the hotel. Rooms were clean with a touch of historical essence.
Cons: There was a high school function at the hotel which I was not aware of until I arrived . It was somewhat loud and crowded the first night . I would most likely call and see next time what functions they had going on before staying next time. Also there is no fitness center .
Pros: History, location to Glenwood Hot Springs.
Cons: hotel staff botched my breakfast order, so we had a late brunch at an outside restaurant.
Pros: Great, historic hotel with lots of charm. Location in Glenwood is excellent - right across the street from the pool.
Cons: Rooms were a bit dated... but that was expected. Bathrooms very small, but fairly clean. Overall it was what you would expect from a 130 year old hotel.
Pros: That is was a historical hotel, with plenty of character
Cons: That there was no air conditioning. Our group didn't know until we arrived and the two days we were there, the temperature was 95 degrees. The rooms were too hot and stuffy, but they did provide a box fan.

Due to the fact that we are a historical landmark and in a mountain climate, the hotel does not have air conditioning, however your room does come equipped with a ceiling fan and box fan to aid in cooling your room.
Pros: Good value for the money. Very clean, roomy, and quiet.
Cons: The heater/air conditioner was quite noisy. However, when we mentioned this at check out, the staff notified maintenance.
Pros: Upon arrival, the woman at the desk was pleasant and welcoming. The woman that worked during the night was also pleasant the next morning. The room had plenty of space, toiletries, and was easy to heat up. The carpet seemed to be well vacuumed. It was dark, quiet, and restful. Additionally, my hotel "neighbors" were respectful and quiet - always a pleasure when folks are considerate when departing early.
Cons: The cleaning was average. Someone's hair was in the tub and on the toilet and also on the sink. The bed spread near the bathroom had food smeared into it and looked like it needed to be washed. There were no extra blankets or pillows if wanted (they may be available upon request). Additionally, the internet service was great the first night and terrible the second night and morning. I could not send a crucial email out.
Pros: Great walking distance to adventure park, dining, and the hot springs pool.
Cons: Cleanliness was totally lacking! Our kids feet were black after spending a few minutes walking barefoot on the carpet and tile floors. We had to wash them then and then they wore shoes the rest of the time. The kitchenette was nice, but all the things you'd expect to come with a kitchenette were not there....a coffee pot, but no filters or coffee. No pans to use, no cookware, no dishsoap. So, basically useless. The wifi didn't work in our room. The room next to us left little dogs unattended at night and so they could be heard barking for hours. The room above us was noises too with people and dogs running around. I had called ahead to make sure a crib would be ready for our son. I was assured it would not be a problem as they have many at their disposal. When we arrived we were told they were out. We gave evidence of when we called and they ended up buying a new one and placed it in our room. Breakfast was just ok. Nothing fresh offered....fruit, yogurt, etc. we ate there only one morning. Ended up going to other restaurants instead.
Cons: Everything was old and felt old.
Cons: I book a room for 2 days. They gave me a small room under the stairs, you could hear sounds from all direction.
Next morning I requested a different room.
Was told that not only there is no other room in my price range, but I was undercharge by mistake and will have to add $10.00 in order to stay in this one.
Naturally I ask for a refund on the extra night and check out.
Went to Cedar Lodge Motel, got a great room for less $$.

Pros: Clean, large room. Great value. Welcomed by a real bear and mountain lion (well, it was April 1st). Super convenient for town and hot springs.

Cons: The room was cold, but there was a small portable heater provided.

Pros: One of the last rooms in town and it kept me from having to sleep in the car.
Cons: Mattress protector kept bunching up under me while sleeping. Sofa and chair in room were a couple decades old and pretty nasty.
Pros: It was a very simple room but clean and affordable. Great location as well. We were able to find anything we could possibly need right in the same area. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the surroundings and atmosphere very pleasant and romantic for sure.
Pros: Well kept, fairly priced, nice people.
Cons: Breakfast could have been more robust.
Pros: Cheap hassle-free motel. Good for a short 1 or 2 night stay in town. Very clean room. All the basics, no frill
Cons: I had constant problems with their wifi. Connectivity problems compounded by extremely slow speeds when finally connected

Cons: Dirty and smells of pot, outside exit door farthest away from the front looks like it's been kicked in.
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Good price for Glenwood Springs.
Cons: Continental breakfast very basic, nothing special. Not much room to eat in the breakfast room. Towel rod in the bathroom was bent. We wondered how that happened. Very little parking and very tight parking lot.
