Beautiful grounds, staff is fantastic. Pools were nice. food was a little pricey in the restaurant but it is a luxury hotel so is along with that.
The property was beautiful, spread out on a beautiful spot in Hana. The Preserve Kitchen and Bar were not impressive for the price. Similarly, the room and resort as a whole were a bit lacking compared to the price.
I liked the friendly courteous staff and the no tipping policy. We ate at the restaurant and the pub across the street and the meals were good and fairly priced. There was nothing to dislike about our stay
Staff was very attentive, grounds were well maintained, our room looked to have recently remodeled and was in excellent condition,no a/c but with the shuttered windows it was very comfortable. When we were there they were remodeling most of the sea cabins, looks like they were doing a excellent job. We only spent one night but I am sure all the activities would have been top notch Would have been nice to have some less expensive dining options. The hotel is pretty much the only game in town
The hosts were super friendly..almost like family. They shared stories, places to visit, scrumptious fruits straight from their backyard. Jenny also provided aloe from her aloe plant for my sunburn. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. The accommodations were in excellent shape...a comfy bed, full kitchen/dining area, bathroom, and satellite TV/internet WiFi. Wish we could have stayed another night. If we ever come back to Maui, we are staying with them again!
Very loud with people coming in and out. Most the people were very nice. Just be sure to read all the fine print. I just read the deadline. That it was under a B&B. It is not.!!!! We paid $112.00 for two people at a Hostile.
Close to Haleakala Park (about 30-45 mins away) Great place to stay over night for next day Haleakaia Park visit.
