Pros:Hertz did have the lowest price for a full size on way ($147/day).Cons:We reserved a "full size" to take my daughter from Houston to Ithica for college. We verified in person the day prior. At pickup, Hertz only had 1 full size SUV and 2 compacts, with nothing else coming up. Hertz offered the SUV for an additional fee, but too large for us to drive.Reviewed 22 Aug 2019

Pros:Fuel economy, vehicle color and options. Vehicle handling.Cons:Because of the flooding in the Houston area the drop off location is closed. I was forced to return the vehicle to a location, quite distant at my inconvenience and expense. Hertz, should be more cooperative, to make things easier, not the fault of the customer, their location flooded. At least offer some discount for the customer's inconvenience, or pick up they're vehicle at their expense.Reviewed 1 Sept 2017

Pros:Employees were nice and courteous, but overwhelmed.Cons:The car needed oil change, had to switch vehicles at my other destination. We were not informed of the drop key box, so we were charged an extra day. Day of pick up only had 2 people working.Reviewed 3 Apr 2017

Slow and inconsistent servicePros:I liked the good deal I got and the car was better than expected.Cons:When we got there the place was closed with a paper taped to the door and scribbled handwriting saying "Be right back." There were 5 others waiting when we got there. Then there was only one employee there for 30 and he had only helped one customer. Finally two other employee's showed up and the process finally inched forward. We were waiting for and hour before they helped us.Reviewed 27 Mar 2017
