Pros: It is the perfect size for a family of 4. Each kid has their own bed. Staff was friendly, nice to have kitchen for quick breakfast, clean, nice bathrooms. Nice to be across from large Hyatt to rent skis and take shuttle to Diamond Peak. I would definitely return.
Pros: the balcony and fireplace are very nice, make the place warm and comfortable
Cons: it seems nobody around in the building (stayed at building 2) makes it difficult to ask for help or questions
Pros: The room was great staff was great pool and fire pit awesome
Cons: We have young kids that need midday naps and the leaf blower keeps them awake but we understand the need to be clean. People getting drunk at the pool pissed me off but thats not you. Loved it otherwise
Pros: Loved the size of the unit. Also it was nice and clean!
Cons: Coffee maker didn’t have a filter.
Pros: 15 mins from Mt. Rose
Pros: Great location and large rooms.
Pros: Loved the 2 bedroom suite. The pool was clean and close to rooms. Property was beautiful!
Cons: Wish there was a restaurant on site!
Pros: The followings are the reasons I strongly recommend Hyatt Residency Hiland Hotel in Lake Tahoe, it is one of the best hotel that people shall stay: 1 Personalities of staff members : enthusiasm and devotion Keycard was not functional well, the housekeeping went to the front desk to replace it for us. The security guard told us the best time and best sightseeing when we took a walk around the hotel. My friend left his laptop in the hotel accidently after we checked out, the front desk manager Steve helped me to trace the laptop and guide me shipping procedure in the late night. They packed the laptop carefully and sent it back to us. We are really appreciated they treat us as friends not just customers. 2 Hotel location : The sightseeing is really beautiful you can take a walk around the hotel or go to the beach，and the is no safety concern.
Pros: Spacious, perfect for families or small groups.
Cons: There were really no negatives to the property

Pros: Great room in one of the cottages. Easy access to the lake.
Cons: How far we had to go for breakfast or even just some good information without having to walk all over the place. Guys working at boat dock were total jerks. One in particular was totally disrespectful.
Pros: From the time we arrived and until we left, the customer service was spectacular!
Cons: The smokiness in the casino
Pros: Nice location if you stayed in a cottage off the lake
Cons: Didn't like main area casino. Seemed pretty honky tonk.
Pros: Location is excellent for quiet walk in the wood.
Cons: Indifferent staffs. Theres a casino in the lobby. The staffs give the you are a degenerate gambler†vibe. Its a money grab atmosphere for them. Resort fees ? This is no resort !!! Its a hotel in the woods with a casino.
Cons: Most hotels with this high rate serve complementary breakfast but this hotel did not which is very disappointing.
Pros: Had a great kids buffet for breakfast and dinner where you pay the cost of the kids age.
Cons: Not great value for money for the room fee.
Pros: The facilities, including the Eagle Grill and lakeside bar were great. The location is unbeatable.
Pros: Good location, access to private beach. Good fitness center 3 restaurants on site
Cons: We had booked a room with mountain view and got a room on ground floor with no view at all
Pros: Breakfast was basically takeaway from a kiosk or a dining room. The absence of a proper room service breakfast option is a real shortcoming. The offering in the kiosk was fine, but sometimes you just don't want to walk a mile for your first coffee of the day. The pool facilities were terrific, in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Cons: Room service !
Pros: Room was clean and spacious.
Cons: Hidden fees.
Pros: Good location, staff was nice, the room was clean and a very good restaurant by the beach.
Cons: The hotel is too expensive and did not match our usual standard for a Hyatt. Pool area is too small with all sun-chairs very close to each other, so the beach which is worse. Would not recommend to stay in this hotel.
Pros: Location and services

Pros: The hotel was clean. The room was expensive and they ended up charging us additional fees for the use of the beach and an extra 30.00 for, I'm not sure of, maid service? Also the inconvenience of a deposit, (didn't get it back until 4 days later)even tho the room had been paid for a week ahead of time. Very disappointed that they were that money hungry. Slept there only. Didn't spend any time on beach
Cons: :( Very misleading
Pros: The location was perfect and the room very comfortable
Cons: We were there to ski 1 day and have the timing all planned out. At first we were disappointed that the free breakfast didn't start until 8, but then we figured we would change things around a bit and we could still eat before we got to the ski resort by 9:00 am. It was an issue when it wasn't open at 8, even though I called the lobby the night before to confirm I had the time right. We waited until 8:15 and the office still wasn't open, and we didn't see any movement inside, so we let for the ski resort. Of course for me, it was no big deal, but my boyfriend (who needs to eat before any activity) was pissed and luckily I was able to keep it from being a big fight. Nothing worse on a get away than a pouty boyfriend lol.....
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: shared balcony
Pros: Beautiful location directly on Lake Tahoe at the north end. Only 20 minutes from route 80 so great place to stop even if you cannot stay a week. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Older facility. Breakfast not included although coffee, tea, cocoa provided.
Pros: Resort has excellent view of Lake Tahoe and Restaurants near to property.
Pros: On the shore.
Cons: Screen door came off.
Pros: Quiet and the location cannot be beat! Great kitchen. Spacious rooms.
Cons: Bed was not that comfortable. Amount of light from outside sources was formidable. Bring a sleeping mask!
Pros: Excellent location on the beach
Cons: No breakfast
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable bed and acceptable room.
Cons: outside the room, it is disorganized and messy
Pros: Location, the view and size of the room.
Cons: Bathroom fixtures need replacing, water pressure in the shower is too high.
Pros: Superb location! Warm, welcoming staff! Room was very clean. The resort has kayaks, paddle boards, and water bikes. Great fun!
Pros: Beautiful views, spacious room, great mattresses for a wonderful sleep, kitchen, eating and drinking supplies, European hotel feel, gracious host Alex.We loved the porch with a sitting area.
Cons: The floors are creaky in the bathroom. The unit upstairs’s resident thumped across the floor nonstop and it sounded like an elephant.
Just one mile from Crystal Bay, Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club is the ideal place for the experiencing Lake Tahoe, California. Perched above the pristine sand beach and the sparkling clear blue waters, this property has everything that a guest could ever need. There are several different condo sizes to choose from starting with the studio which is 350 square feet and can sleep two occupants. Some of the condos have fireplaces that take prepackaged logs which are for sale in the property's office. Visitors can also expect to have all the needed cookware and dishware in the kitchens. Nearby in Crystal Bay, there are four casinos for visitors that would like to try their luck at gambling. There are also places for skiing and golf nearby depending on the time of year.
Pros: They are close to city center
Cons: They require you check in by 6PM and that you call in if you plan to turn up late. I called couple days ahead and no one picks up the phone and nor does it have a VM. After multiple failed attempts i get there only to find the office closed and even after calling the emergency # provided outside the door, no one responds. It was busy. I had the Expedia team also call them before rebooking but even they were not able to reach. The place is very dark, practically unlit so if you book here get there in day time. The place is a residential community that is being leased so beware you are on your own if you check in even during emergencies. Not sure how the place was rated so high. Maybe the residents / owners are adding to the review?
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Tired facility. Thermostat did not seem to work....could not cool the unit down in the dead of winter. Basics like shampoo and lotion not included.
With a stay at Tahoe Vistana Inn in Tahoe Vista, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Northstar California Resort and Agate Bay. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was a pretty place across the lake. The staff was very helpful. It was nice that the facility had grills for you to cook on which saved us some money from going to restaurants.
Pros: Great location and fantastic price point.
Cons: Awful WiFi, which was a requirement to have for my job. Also, no water in the pool or hot tub. No views from my deck as promised, room was cleaned, but bathroom was skipped entirely. Despite this, I'd stay again with lower expectations.
Pros: proximity to lake, nothing else...
Cons: Less than basic accommodation for the high price paid - thin walls so noisy neighbours, no working coffee-tea machine, no cutlery, no wine/beer glasses, just a small fridge...
Cons: Bait traps, mouse.
Cons: Daily room cleaning was only completed upon request made at 3:30 pm
Pros: I liked the room and staff. We , unfortunately, did not utilize all of the recreational supplies available ie. bikes, kayaks, beach chairs. It was nice to know they were there and had there been more time I would have loved to use them. Staff was amazing and helpful and always had nice refreshments available in the office. I walked to north Tahoe vista to hike everyday and this was very close and made it a convenient hike.
Cons: I didn’t like having to cross a major road to reach the beach. Very small bathroom.
Pros: Good location and clean rooms and property
Cons: A little pricey and the pillows were bad
Pros: Was a great place for family of all ages.
Pros: Cozy cottage like setting, quiet private room. Nice patio areas with tables & BBQ's.
Pros: Close to nearby wedding venue and our kids and grandkids who rented a house. They also offered complimentary kayak and paddleboards to take out on the lake.
Cons: Facility is a little tired - clean and functional but we also had to climb stairs which we didn't realize when we booked. Parking was also a little dicey - trying to parallel park on uneven surfaces.
Pros: It wasn't really breakfast, it was a muffin and coffee or tea.
Cons: A little overpriced.
Pros: Loved the room and the patio area.
Cons: No AC or ironing board for business traveler.

Pros: Rustic Tahoe style. Beds were very comfortable. Nice shower. Very nice receptionist. Quiet. East access to Incline surrounds.
Cons: Rooms were a little dated. Bed was nice but pillows sucked. Other than that it was ok.
Pros: Location, size of room
Cons: I purchased this hotel in particular because it was advertised as serving breakfast. They did not have breakfast. Only coffee.
Pros: The staff (both days) was SO friendly and accommodating. We arrived early on Day 1 (10 am) and were able to check in!! I was shocked and very pleased with our King sized bed, large deck, and renovated room. The hotel was very quiet at night. :)
Cons: No! Will definitely stay here again!
Pros: Nice little hotel. Very clean and cute decor. Great location, would definitely stay here again!
Pros: The hotel was quite nice, even though it is right on a HWY the sound was not an issue. Dated but enjoyable. Night Manager/ Handyman was very nice and helpful
Cons: The parking is very tight, not enough spaces. Advertised in a couple of places as having a complimentary breakfast, that does not exist any more. Sites need to update their info.
Cons: Stated air conditioned rooms, there was not, just a very loud fan and also stated complimentary breakfast, there was none.
Pros: Very clean, quiet, in a good location within walking distance of small, independent restaurants.
Pros: Location was far better than I expected! I was also nervous about it being a 2 star inn but it was very nice!
Pros: This hotel met my expectations after reading the prior reviews. This area of Tahoe must have zoning regs. prohibiting modern hotels except for the Hyatt. This hotel has a "cottage-plus" feel to it and I expected that. Very clean and well maintained.
Cons: No AC but I was glad to sleep with window open for cool mountain air and the entire place is in the shade/woods. Have a national forest cottage mindset when booking and you will be pleasantly surprised unless you plan on sitting in the room the whole time
Pros: Good facilities
Cons: There was a party in one of the rooms at the last night that kept me up that night.
Pros: Folded towels on the bed, clean, liked the decor, chairs outside for morning coffee. Really enjoyed! No ac but they had a big fan already in the room. Windows front and back.
With a stay at Holiday House in Tahoe Vista, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Northstar California Resort and Agate Bay.
Pros: Lakeside with view of Tahoe Lake from the balcony and the front room. Fantastic hostess/owner who also teaches (and rents) paddle boarding and wind surfing. Within walking distance of lakeside dining. Close to Incline and small casino. Full kitchenette makes it perfect for week long stays and extra pull down bed makes suite big enough for family trips. View on a moonlit night make the balcony alone perfect for the romantic getaway for my girlfriend's birthday. Can't say enough. Would go back for the view, location and the friendly smiling owner, even in inclement weather.
Cons: Could use some upgrades of furniture, but this is small compared to the view.
Pros: The location and the view on the lake, not to forget the very friendly owner.
