10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a lovely stay ! Thanks to both Julia and David for all that they did to make my trip easy. It was a rainy day and I was in-between flights. I so enjoyed just being in the little efficiency cabin and resting. The warm bathroom floor and towel rack were lovely. And I so enjoyed the hot cup of tea and biscuits in my room. Do I sound pampered? I was! Thanks again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room and the breakfast was really good. The owners were fast with the response and open to dialog, they helped me with all the things that i needed to knwo/do. I would definitly come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts went above and beyond for our one night stay. David ferried us to the local pub in extra consideration of my 7 year old, and my son’s tired legs, and they are also mailing me an item which I left in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The homely feeling. The pub down the road. Great shower. The British snacks in the room, excellent touch.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, clean lovely rooms

Pros: Comfortable stay near the airport although a little pricey.

Pros: Very comfy room and excellent ensuite (lovely shower). It was very hot weather but there was even an excellent fan in the room which was much appreciated, especially at night time. There were three windows in the room which also gave a good through flow of air. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing!

Villa Verde Gatwick - Horley - Building
3
9.4 Excellent (1,345 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Villa Verde Gatwick places you in the heart of Horley, a 4-minute drive from Manor Royal Business Park and 5 minutes from Gatwick Aviation Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and coffee/tea in a common area. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Owner was extremely helpful, friendly, inn was well run, organized and clean. Rooms were of good size, bathroom as well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beds were good, location excellent for very early flight, close to airport. This place is one of the better places for the area. We arrived early for a Sunday, the area was quite, we walked to the local shops. Easy to find a pub meal or order take away like we did.
Cons: Be warned, one flight of stairs has 17 stairs, very steep to our rooms. They do have a dumb waiter for your suit cases, you could request a room downstairs if you found it hard on the stairs. The bathroom is extremely small, just like an aeroplane toilet, typical all English showers the pressure is like a trickle, so hard to wash long hair. If the owner recommends an Italian restaurant, down the road it’s very expensive. There are plenty to choose from the local town of Horley, there’s a Tesco Express, not far.
7.5 Good
Pros: The front reception closes at 9.30 but info on how to get in is provided. The doors work on key pads so getting in and out of the rooms is easy. We were upgraded and our room was big. 7 mins from Gatwick airport (perfect). The place had a slightly old English house feel but was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Tea, coffee, water, biscuits, hairdryer, etc. I’d book it again if I was flying from Gatwick airport.
Cons: Had to pay £3 for parking despite us being guests and it felt a bit dusty (old English house feel).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome given by Clive and Carmel in our last minute panic! . Best night's sleep for ages. Great beds.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff who absolutely go the extra mile!! Accommodated is even after flight delay & changing room to accommodate my husband who missed his onward links too. Happily offered to shuttle us both separately including a v early morning start for me husband !! Thank you so much. Delicious generous breakfast too. It was noteworthy that for once there was sufficient milk to have many drinks in your room which I appreciated.
Cons: Nothing disliked at all. The property is homely rather than modern hotel style as you’d expect with a B&B. A power shower would be a bonus if the owners were looking to make any changes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The loveliest place! Very convenient to the airport, very comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Very hot night shame we couldn't cool down or open a window...very nice place to stop over before heading to the airport
4.0 Okay
Pros: they kindly allowed me to store my bags between check-out and my late afternoon flight. the bathroom was very clean. lovely house.
Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The flush toilet was not working and we couldn't use it. We ended up using a bucket :( The fan was also broken and it was just the heat wave in the UK
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large family room, clean and comfortable beds coupled with excellent friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble for Quasim! The ease of check-in and lift to the airport in the early hours of the morning were really appreciated!
Cons: No major issues but the family room was at the very top and was just too many stairs for an elderly member of the family. The bathroom was functional but small for 5 people and could benefit from some minor updating, but overall was worth the stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Booked triple room for my American friend & her two daughters. The room was bigger than it looked in the photo and one bed had been changed to a double since the photo, there was certainly enough space for it, it could therefore easy take 2 adults and 2 younger children. I liked the quirkiness of the room layout with one bed in an alcove, the girls loved it too! Spacious bathroom and very clean. Communal areas nicely decorated, very welcoming front entrance hall. Two minutes walk to restaurants in Horley town centre.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is bathroom is looking a bit dated in style but it was certainly sparkling white and clean.
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was chaotic one member in our group didn’t receive hers then given to someone else no choice only eggs offered no proper cooked breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing !
Cons: A bit more help with the luggage
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get to Gatwick, clean, friendly, obvious pride taken in the running of this hotel.
Cons: The nature of the building had us carrying our bags up many flights. We were able to store a few downstairs (we were 5 people) more storage downstairs, bell service, or easier way of getting bags so room would have been good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Its hospitality is great, the house manager is really friendly and kind.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. The host was also very thoughtful contacting us in the morning to check when we would arrive. We arrived late and keys were left and again the owners were very accommodating leaving keys for us. Rooms were lovely and it's great for a gatwick airport departure.
Cons: The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, but that maybe just me.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Well-located, close to the city center and to Gatwick airport (5-10 minutes far by car or 1 stop by train). Breakfast included was fair enough. The room was comfortable in general.
Cons: We could hear our neighbours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My daughter and I stayed. Lovely place!

Pros: Very attractive and comfortable hotel. We left our car here for holiday and stayed over when returning to England. Excellent value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Location staff, room and grounds. Excellent food and bar.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness of room lots of space. Location of hotel to Gatwick airport. Period property.
Cons: The waiter in the morning - got mine and another guests order the wrong way round.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our superior room was lovely, it was clean spacious and a fabulous view! The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The menu choice was limited and disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to stay after a long overseas flight. Its a short taxi ride from Gatwick. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. I loved walking in the gardens and sitting on the patio. Dinner was excellent too.
Cons: Everything was perfect. No dislikes at all.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I liked the vintage style. Booked the hotel as travelling from Warwickshire to catch early morning flight to Gatwick. I’m Pregnant and knew I would need to rest before catching my flight.
Cons: Unfortunately the hotel was an inconvenience. I had to leave at 03:30am to get to Gatwick for my flight. I woke up to find that there was no hot water running in the en-suite shower room! I called staff on the phone only to be told it should be on shortly. I waited - but it still didn’t come on. Not only that the sink drain stopper was broken so the water would not drain. The taps were also dirty. To make matters worse, when I went down to reception, no one was there to attend to me. My stay was on 30th July 2019. I was there for under 6 hours and it was Awful. I would like a full refund. I’ve emailed and sent a text to the hotel to complain and have had no response.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed really comfy and excellent location. Good food.
Cons: The internal room had a sky light which didn't close. This was not a major problem until the morning when we had builders walking across the roof and obviously looking down which I can tell you was an horrific experience. What a shame. I did complain but the staff showed little interest and did nothing to ease the embarresment. I chose to write a letter after and did receive an apology and a small payment. I would stay here again but the staff need to recognise when to say sorry. Language was a barrier and it took me to contact them even though they said they would contact me.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The building and decor is good
Cons: The staff were not accommodating if you are traveling with a child. Seemed reluctant to prepare food for a child and very abrupt. The rooms were filthy with windows and window seals dirty. The bathroom was dirty and there was rubbish from previous occupants. Deliveries came in at 3am at the front of the building and woke us all up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy clean old world hotel. Perfect location for a private party. Staff nice and helpful especially at reception.
Cons: Nothing would stay again. One tone thing water in the room would be nice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charm and room rates
Cons: The entrance inside could be decorated such that it is more cosy.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service and comfortable rooms
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable, excellent value for money, adequate breakfast, good shower
Cons: No hairdryer in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the pick up service quick and seamless Excellent value for price
Cons: the pick up and drop off service was a bit expensive for being so close to the airport especially if requiring to and from.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable room, well run family business, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Offered a pick up from Gatwick airport at a reasonable rate. Very reasonable for the price I paid.
Cons: Sound was an issue comings and goings of other guests, doors closing. I wore ear plugs and was not an issue.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Close to the airport. Great transportation options close by. Anju was incredibly nice and catered to us and made ya feel very welcome!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, and the inn itself had a very nice, appealing style to it. The location was excellent, about a ten minute walk to the train station, which could easily connect you to LGW if you couldn’t book the shuttle provided by the hotel. The check in process was excellent, we arrived into Gatwick very late that night, and the hotel left our room key and information in an envelope on the porch, as their reception closed at 10pm. We liked how accommodating this was, and how easy they made it to check in.
Cons: The continental breakfast was a little lacking, we didn’t have time in the morning to order the full English breakfast. As well, there was a small miscommunication regarding booking the airport shuttle as we were misinformed it was required to book a day in advance.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The old house was ok. The room was what we would call the third floor not second so carrying luggage upstairs was a bit of struggle. Overall it was adequate Breakfast was good but have had more variety in cold breakfast food elsewhere
Cons: The room was very small and no air conditioning. Thankfully not a really hot night but certainly warm in room Would have liked a common room to sit and mingle
6.3 Good
Cons: Room above very noisy late into the night. Banging around and walking on a hard floor. A dog barked continuously outside Price for “early payment” on website not applied at hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The closeness to the airport.
Cons: It felt more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was hot, fast, and quite adequate. The inn next door has a pub/lounge where we ate supper the day of our stay, so that was convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was adequate, at best. Water pressure in the shower was awful and the sink taps don't work properly. Check in was okay, but the lady behind the counter was a bit indifferent. Most check-in staff take a bit of interest in where you're from, and so on. Not so much at this B&B, but that could have been due to any number of factors. The airport shuttle was convenient, but more expensive than other places offered. We were on the top floor (of 3) and had to lug our bags up the narrow, steep stairs.

6.8 Good
Pros: Really beautiful and historic hotel, totally unexpected as so close to Gatwick airport. The room and gardens were wonderful
Cons: Our only complaint is that there were not enough staff at all for breakfast. It took over 30min to order, and by then most of the items were gone (no juice, no fruit for the muesli, scraps only!) despite an expensive breakfast meal. It really was disappointing as the hotel is apparently known for the restaurant! We saw other guests leave and give up on having breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic hotel! I felt like we had gone back in time to Hobbits. Clean and modern rooms, quite and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast staff were woefully inadequate. Not enough people + dissatisfied guests = disappointing experience! (Not to mention expensive breakfast options). So if you don't need breakfast, its the perfect hotel or business stop-over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing ambience for breakfast and enjoying the gardens. Room fittings needed some attention. Good menus
Cons: Fresh towels on day two as still damp. A bar would have been more useful than having to wait for a waiter to find us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff is extremely kind and professional, and my room was magniificently decorated. The bathtub was even big enough for me, and at 6'3 that's rare to find. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel grounds are gorgeous and well kept. I hope to have a chance to stay again someday for more than a one night visit.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful building and lovely comfy clean rooms with everything
Cons: The restaurant menu and pricing and service is quite surreal. Totally out of keeping with the place. Really poor.
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Close to airport. Near pubs and restaurants.
Cons: Shared bathroom - but can't complain at the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn’t be more friendly Room was lovely Everything was clean Bathroom was lovely and spotless
Cons: Only that my pillow was a bit too firm! It was late when I noticed this but if I had noticed earlier I’m certain the staff would have changed it for me
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money and location to airport
Cons: A hand towel, as well as a bath towel, would-be useful
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Parking facilities
Cons: The noise was just too much even with the window closed. Fan should have been offered Stale/damp odour in the room which is not ideal for someone with asthma or breathing problems The floor in the shared bathroom was very wet. Mould in the ceiling with is health and safety hazard Very unfriendly reception. Just hand you the key without showing where the bathrooms are. As there was no signs I was knocking at door just to use the bathroom. No one available to ask question.

Pros: It's clean and quiet and very close to Gatwick and a short walk to the train station that takes you directly to London Bridge. We had an early morning flight out of Gatwick, so it was a good choice. This was my second stay here and I'll stay again if I have early morning Gatwick flights.
6.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Very basic. It looks like the cleaning lady did her best doing the cooking for the guests in the kitchen and it showed. The room looks like a conversion from a garage done by workers hired from the street. The rest is up to your imagination.
7.0 Good
Pros: Near Gatwick airport and had a shuttle bus from hotel for £6 per room . Walking distance from little town of Horley. Also, en-suite was very pleasant .
Cons: Bedroom could do with redecorating .
6.3 Good
Cons: Bathroom smelled musty, sink plug didn't work
4.5 Okay
Pros: Mattress was really hard, couldn't sleep all night. Silly rules, if you take food into your room you get fined £50. Car park wasnt included in the price although when I booked, it said car park is included. Had to pay extra, not much.

Cons: The breakfast could have been better, but it was good and, I think, appropriate to the price of accommodation.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The welcome the smooth airport transfer. Decor. Relaxed varied breakfast. A very good nights sleep.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely guesthouse, very comfortable and clean. Lovely beds, pillows and towels. Wendy was exceptional.
Cons: Nothing all good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The efficiency in the running of the guest house was plain to see from check in to check out. The Art Deco theme was really classy and made such a change from the usual boring chintz curtains and pine furniture. The transport included to and from Gatwick was an added bonus.
Cons: Understandably you do have to pay extra for parking but not a criticism
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Typically British. Very cozy structure - very polite and competent staff. Picture truly respect rooms and place. Silent and just a 5 min walk off the city centre
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wendy kindly picked us up from the station and checked us in. She then took us to the airport early on a cold morning! Far better experience than sitting in a charmless hotel in Gatwick.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was near to the train station and the airport
Cons: The room was very warm as it was in the top of the house and the ventilation was not good.
6.3 Good
Pros: The bathroom had been recently refurbished to quite a high quality but our shower was over the bath and the water leaked onto the floor from around the screen, which made it quite slippery.
Cons: The cooked english breakfast was very poor-1 sausage,1 rasher of bacon, a small amount of mushrooms, half of a fried tomato and 1 fried egg(no choice for how this was cooked). There was a choice of cereals but the milk was in a jug and got very warm as did the apple/orange juice. Plenty of bread for toast with butter and jam but again the butter was melting as it was so warm in the room.

Cons: noise, grumpy/ cocky attitude of man behind desk/ driver (all in one!) Property needs a thorough updating / renovation, which I suspect hasn't been done since the 70's...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The guest reception was wonderful, friendly. The staff had everything you could imagine. They provided toothpaste, hairdryer, mouthwash. There is a little village within 10 minutes walking distance that had everything we needed and was quite charming to explore
Cons: It was loud, as there were a steady stream of guests arriving from the airport all night both nights we were there
7.0 Good
Pros: Yes a good location, room was comfortable and clean
Cons: We had a long journey with a few hazards on the way so arrived late. We were met by a grumpy receptionist who didn’t make us feel welcome, he said we had not booked and paid for breakfast. I had the proof we had, but he proceeded to take a phone call so we just went to our room. The next morning the same receptionist agreed we had booked and paid for breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Courteous staff, clean room, bathroom, bedsheets, towels
Cons: Room was small even though they said it was a superior double, The carpet was worn out and bruised, noise from the lobby

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good in the restaurant
Cons: Bed sheets too small, only 1 of 4 lights working in the bathroom.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Difficulty understanding the staff over the phone. Did not have good reception on Wi-Fi in the room. There was a charge for shuttle pick up at the airport and drop off that was not indicated on the email notifications. There are no outlets near the bed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and friendly staff, especially the young lady working on the bar. Very close to Gatwick airport and town centre with good choice of bars and restaurants. Clean and comfortable.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The bed was lumpy you could feel the springs, shower was over a high bath so hard to get in and out, too noisy, staff were multitasking so were unavailable when need ie in the bar, unhelpful with luggage, didn't even hold doors open for you, which were very heavy to push. Very hot was located right on the road so could here traffic all night. Receptionist was not friendly at all. Won't be going back there again or recommending it to anyone.

7.5 Good
Pros: Clean room, friendly reception, shuttle to airport, good rate
Cons: No hot water in shower. Breakfast not included
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: We did not receive our requested wake-up call before our flight. The internet is spotty, at best, and very slow when it does work. If you're flying out, skip the hotel breakfast. Much better quality and quantity at airport for the same price.
5.4 Okay
Cons: The parking situation was terrible. More like a scrapyard. When we politely advised the staff we were going to find alternate parking they immediately switched to outright rude. Not necessary.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: As another hotel I booked had suddenly "overbooked" I had to extend my stay in Best Western Gatwick Skylane for another day. It was a good decision. The hotel is very close to Gatwick airport (affordable taxi fares) and surrounded by the lovely small city of Crawley (and its adjacent train station, from where you can reach London). Nice room with plenty of space, comfortable bed, good sheets and an adequate bathroom.
Cons: The Gatwick Airport region has above average prices. Best Western Gatwick Skylane is on average. A frigo would do good. Toaletries could have been a little bit better also.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location - just a few minutes drive to the airport. All staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was generally well run.
Cons: Although the food was tasty and well-presented, service was very slow. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed. The general standard of cleanliness was good, but we had a cracked basin in one of the rooms and the floor tiles were a little grubby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable. Loved the in room air con, that's a rare treat these days.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Parking was easy once I actually found the hotel in the dark. Postcode takes you further down the road.
Cons: Poor quality pillows and pillow cases. I suggest taking your own. Uncomfortable single bed when I had booked a double. When I arrived I don't think the guy even looked at me. When I left there was no one around. I did not eat in the hotel.
6.8 Good
Cons: A UK double bed takes some getting used to! Had requested 2 singles got one double. Directional room signs somewhat confusing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good very friendly staff Breakfast very nice We will recommend our friends and family
Cons: N/A
7.4 Good
Pros: Room was comfortable, a bit small for 4.
Cons: Breakfast was poor quality.

Cons: no wifi and bar closed with no option for drinks to the rooms after hours.
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable.Staff friendly.
Cons: Shower didnt work very well, breakfast staff not so friendly
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room was big enough and clean. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick and the drivers were friendly and helpful. The servant in the bar at night was very helpful and polite. The cleaning crew respected our check-out time and did not enter our room until we left.
Cons: Requested a cot bed beforehand. When we checked in, I asked for it and it hadn't been set up on our room. I was then given the travel cot in the lobby, which I had to carry myself to the room and set up myself. The lobby, the bar/restaurant and the rooms look modern, but the rest of the hotel is very very old and dirty. Dirty carpets, very bad access for a push chair (they did have a lift, which was working). The bed was too small. The towel hanger in the bathroom wasn't working and so didn't produce any heat at all. The air conditioning had a terrible smell, the filters were probably not cleaned in a while, which is a health hazard. We had breakfast and were seated in a table with a very dirty cloth, with lots of crumbs and sugar.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife were in the area on business and choose the hotel, from internet, we were both very impressed with the hotel and the staff the best value for money we have had for a very long time. Wishing you every success .Ray Davies

8.0 Excellent
Cons: Due to being on front ground facing road I didn't feel safe to leave windows open... unfortunately I was staying whilst weather conditions were hot. Sound of having fan on all night was too noisy. Bed was comfortable but noisy every time I turned. Did not sleep well. Facilities terrific though and not overly far to walk from station with a backpack. Self check-in worked a treat given no staff onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff good Good service
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room Convenient to Gatwick Quiet
Cons: Not staffed 24 hours
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Much better than some of the Trip Advisor reviews had led us to believe. Very easy to get in. Very convenient. Didnt have time in the morning to have breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing check in! Food and kitchen superb! The only minor let down is no lift to upper floors with heavy luggage, but not as I say minor.
Cons: Ask if lower are an option, I am partially disabled.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very easy and inexpensive accom near to Gatwick airport - no frills but everything you need for a stop over. Great DIY breakfast available any time of the day and self check in and out worked well for us.
Cons: No mugs in communal kitchen!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Great location and close to gatwick

5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to airport.
Cons: Very very dated needs some TLC. Reminds me of a 1970s office block. Rooms seriously need updating.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The AC was not working and the room was full of dust. The windows didn’t close and overall completely deceived by the pics of the hotel. It’s no where close to what it states on the pics and the other reviews. I would rather pay the extra 20 and stay closer to the airport.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room was absolutely filthy and has dirt and dust all over the place and sticky furniture was pleased to get out of there
6.8 Good
Pros: It was cheap and clean
Cons: The car park was a bit cramped
6.8 Good
Pros: The bar ws a full floor and was pretty nice. Bath room was a good size and seemed clean.
Cons: 4 pounds for the shuttle was a bit much but that has nothing to do with the hotel directly. Tried to find a quick way to walk to the airport but wasn't able to. It was pretty quite in the hotel but the traffic from the motor way was loud. Limited wifi in the hotel, so if wifi is important not the best place. Staff was friendly and the check in ws easy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bedding and towels were clean
Cons: There was no way to walk to the hotel, the hotel had no wifi unless you wanted to pay £7 per day. The view from the window was spoiled by all the dirt and crud covering the window. The rooms were tiny and very outdated. The walls of the room were dirty, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the shower had the possibility to set off the smoke alarm. That is if you get the water pressure above a trickle and any one taller the 5ft has to bend down to was your hair as the shower head is very low. The bath tube had not been scrubbed in a very long time.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Next to Gatwick
Cons: Dingy, mediocre staff, inadequate supplies (toilet paper was scarce), over priced mediocre food, thin walls
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff in restaurant were lovely
9.3 Excellent
Pros: What’s not to like? I arrived at 1 pm, an hour before my check-in. At the check-in desk they were ready for me and it only took a minute to complete the procedure. And I was able to enter my room immediately.
Cons: It was a Sunday. The restaurant was closed. There were signs in the lobby advertising their Sunday roast. Annoying. The only food close by was a gas station convenience store. Disappointing. The morning hotel breakfast was typically average.
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean beds for the night and coffee making facilities in the morning will sure make you happy
Cons: Little smile on arrival from the reception people wouldn't cost a penny but would make you feel welcome. Rooms needs updating.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The room was very old and dirty and had a moldy smell. The sheets and towels had some strange black fleck on them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful. The lounge bar and restaurant are great good value for money. Shuttle bus is punctual and the location is perfect for north terminal
Cons: You only get 20mins free wifi in your room have to go to public lounge or reception for free wifi continuously

Pros: We didnt eat but did have a drink in the bar- The location was lovely and the Charlwood arms(?) is a lovely little pub.
Cons: The only thing that I would say is that the hotel itself was really warm in all the areas that we visited - The room did have a fan though.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room like a sauna switched fan on then immediately switched it off covered in so much dust spoke to my work colleagues also staying at hotel there fan was the same. Too tired to complain tried to grin and bear it but gave up at 22.30hrs changed room slightly better will never go back.

Pros: The help I got When I was not from one lady On reception. Empathetic Indeed. God bless her.
Cons: Some Cleaners pretending to clean the room but leaving bins and every other part of the room untouched. Then stating the room Was not To be disturbed when they had been in and removed a dirty cup. Sad indeed.
