Site said airport open at nine no one till 19:30 so missed my friends, returned car earl so should money back, got ford when ordered fiat overall not impressed, probably never hertz again or recomend

Easy to drop off but...

Cons:

I did not like that when I returned the car in Innsbruck no one was at the counter and every other car rental outfit had a representative there. Hertz said they were open till 6pm, I was there just after 5pm (and my rental wasn't due until 9pm). Would be much nicer to check out with a person.

Cons:

We checked in to Avis expecting the car we reserved online, and rudely told us our reservation was cancelled, which we never did. Didn’t offer reason how that happened or any effort to help us out!! Just told us it was cancelled and they had no more cars available. Really put us in a bind with 3 kids in a foreign country.

The car could have been cleaner, especially inside at pick up! There were crumbs & popcorn in the console area & on the floor. Windshield needed cleaning inside & out.

Pros:

very competitive price and the desk girl was very pleasant and try to find an agreement on which car to give us since the one ordered was not available anymore

Cons:

we have some trouble when giving back the key because it was night and we didn't know where the key box was. we tried to contcact the customer service number but they didn't answer. Anyway, it was not a big deal because we give back the key the day after.

Booked via Kayak, for $45 per day. Turned out to be $85 per day because bullshit story about insurances eg $10/day extra if you go across border to Germany or Italy. Left without renting the car TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

horrible! the employees badly need customer service training. they were shouting and accusing other car rental companies. they refused to give me the car after waiting for almost an hour. they had a subjective opinion on my documents: I presented a passport and bank card from different countries because I live in 2 different countries but they did not understand this. I have been using these documents or the past 3 years across the world and never had an issue!

Almost new car supplied.

Cons:

Budget lost the car after I returned it, required 4 calls to sort the issue including describing the person I gave the keys to! They also took payment up front for fuel even though the contract was a "return full" contract. Expecting to have to chase the refund of this.

The negative negated anything positive.

Cons:

OVERCHARGED 50 EURO! Our flight was 45 minutes and we arrived at the rental counter at 11:10PM (reservation was for 10:00PM). The 1 day rental was 54 euro. However, Buchbinder charged an extra 50 euro because we arrived after 11:00PM. They provided no notice of this charge on the Kayak. They also didn't have our class of vehicle registered and tried to charge for an upgraded model. The clerk was insensitive and rude.

Relatively quick pick up and return, clean.

Cons:

Upon return, the attendant indicated damage on the front allow wheel rim. I drove from rental car parking spot to another parking spot 5 hours away. Did not have an opportunity to rub rim against a curb to inflict damage. Damage seemed to be old, but attendant said it was not on the initial inspection. I can't take 30 minutes to inspect cars for minor wear and tear. Waiting on Buchbinder final assessment for damages.
