10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private rooftop bar and cozy lobby hangout space. European style breakfast lounge and 24 hr snack pantry. Room was small (though big for New York!) yet thoughtfully laid out with clever use of space. Fun/funky upscale low key vibe just perfect. Midtown location excellent for exploring NYC and checking out theatre scene. Daily complimentary bottled water. Friendly, helpful staff
Cons: If you pay for your breakfasts when you check in you save a couple bucks vs. paying on day of. I can understand that you'd want to have an estimate of how many diners they will be but, come on, this felt a little nickel and dime-y when everything else was so seamless.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Iron in room. Small gift shop. I was sick and had to walk out in snow to buy medicine.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Exactly what I needed for a one night business trip. Room is compact, but designed to be so, and spotlessly clean. Has a great location, fast wifi, brilliant communal spaces for getting out the laptop, and it took less than a minute to check in and out.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: definitely a different style hotel but we still loved the concept. staff was very friendly. we would definitely stay here again.
Cons: since there wasn't any superfluous people like bell boys or concierge desks, I wish I saw a lil more savings and value in the price to stay here.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our deluxe suite room that had sliding doors which kept each room very quiet even when watching tv with the volume turned up in one room. The push button controls were really cool for the lights and privacy settings. Enjoyed the free breakfast at Atrio and the friendly service from everyone there especially the host. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and were able to accommodate a late checkout of 2pm for us. Appreciated the unique designs and architecture of the hotel. Liked that it was located right next to the World Trade Center, and of course Shake Shack. Liked using the exercise room and business center which were very clean and well maintained. Overall it was a very relaxing and pleasant stay.
Cons: Nothing really except that there was no swimming pool or entertainment room with a pool table or table tennis.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, appearance, friendliness of staff, and the rooftop. The fitness center was adequate and even if it wasn't, the view from there was amazing! There was great food at the hotel and all around the neighbourhood, try Wolf Nights and Tiny's Giant Sandwich Shop. We spotted a few TV and sports stars in the lobby, that was interesting...they are much uglier in person.
Cons: I felt like I spent a lot of time waiting for the elevator and the complimentary coffee seemed to be a chore for the staff to deal with. Also, there was an incident when my girlfriend needed assistance with something and the concierge was skeptical that she was a guest and was very rude. Everyone else was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet room, nice mattress, great bedding, excellent staff and a perfect location for exploring the city. What more could you ask for?
6.5 Good
Pros: Bar

Pros: Reasonably priced (for New York), very clean, great hot breakfast and awesome views of the New York skyline. Rooms have a small kitchen. Only one stop on the Path (subway) or ferry to Manhattan
Cons: Stayed here twice and both times my room was right above a light rail stop. The trains were noisy all night. Ear plugs helped.

7.7 Good
Pros: The design and vibe of the hotel was very cool. The robes and slippers in the room were a nice touch. We enjoyed breakfast from the coffee shop and received good service in the bar the previous evening. Overall, glad we tried this place out, but likely wouldn't stay there again given the vast options NYC has to offer.
Cons: Our room was extremely small and definitely a struggle for two people - even just for a night. There was minimal space to hang clothing and unpack toiletries. There didn't seem to be a lot of sound proofing between rooms.

6.0 Good
Cons: Service was terrible, our flight got delayed, we called to tel them know, when we got there they had charged us for the first night and they didnt have a room for us!!!! On top of the night manager on our last night was really rude... I will go to the St Regis next time...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great about the Plaza! The hotel staff was so nice. They were always asking us how we were doing and if we needed anything. Our room was amazing! Very luxurious! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The mini bar was filled with all kinds of drinks and snacks. I think our favorite part was the bathroom. The walk in shower with the huge shower head was ginormous! The tub was rather large too! Everything was very very clean. It felt like it was brand new and we were the first people to stay in it! The hotel location was great also. Central Park and a subway station is right across the street so it was quite easy going to and from the Yankees games. We will definitely stay at the Plaza again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Staff were all curteous and prompt. Room size was good and everything was clean and new. Breakfast at Palm Court was good. Will stay again.
Cons: N/A
5.1 Okay
Pros: The hotel is a landmark. It is in a great location and gives great access to Central Park. It is also not too far of a walk to the theater district. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The staff seemed indifferent. The revolving door wasn't working, so we had to go in through side doors. The doormen (sometimes as many as three) just stood around watching, not helping at all with the doors, which were heavy. Breakfast in the lobby: we were seated and I asked the purpose seating us to bring coffee. He said the server would be right with us. After 5 minutes there was no server to been seen. Why didn't the person seating us just bring us coffee? Very mediocre attitude. This hotel was not at all worth the price we paid.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location is great for all the Midtown attractions. Just a block from 5th Ave and the Rockefeller Centre. Hotel was beautifully decorated for the festive season.
Cons: Beds quite small in standard rooms, and extras are expensive.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, incredible view and far enough away from the craziness of Times Square but a pretty easy walk to wherever you want to go. I was skeptical because of the deal we got on hotels.com but it was an awesome spot!
Cons: No closet in the hotel room.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: The hotel never had my reservation so whatever I booked through Kayak/getaroom was bogus. The hotel could not meet the rate so I was stuck paying hundreds of dollars more. Your service almost left me with no rooom for my trip. This is totally unacceptable and I deserve compensation for this.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I stayed at the Palace many years ago and this stay was the first under Lotte's ownership. It's a big hotel, so it lacked the intimacy of some place like the Lowell Carlyle or the Plaza Athenee. That said, it's considerably less expensive, unless you are in the Towers. What I found remarkable was the consistency of staff attitude. Friendly, appropriately personal, attentive, and helpful.
Cons: $50 for a simple breakfast (farro porridge with fruit, coffee, and a freshly made vegetable juice, was a new high (or low, depending on how you look at it) for New York. Delicious for sure, but pricey.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Decor, location, cleanliness
Cons: $16.00 for wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms, excellent location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The service was great
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location! Loved my stay there!!
Cons: Charging 16.00 per day for wifi is insane
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room directly overlooked St. Patrick's Cathedral and it was gorgeous. The room was spacious (unusual for NY), clean and comfortable. There's a wonderful café right off the beautiful hotel lobby for specialty coffees and French pastries, and the fitness center is amazing. Plenty of bar/restaurants within walking distance, as are many of the tourist attractions such as Rock Center. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will look into staying there again.
Cons: There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel, although I would have preferred a lower internet rate (it is $16/day).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff adjusted an error in the hotels reservation immediately, at check in. Carol OConner recognized the issue and made the adjustment in a way that thoughtful and professional.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: It was my first time in New York and the location could not be more ideal. The hotel was central to all of the main attractions. We stayed around Thanksgiving and all of the holiday decor were already stunningly displayed. A lot of tourists stopped by the outside courtyard, which is quite the photo opportunity. Inside the lobby, they hosted a "happy hour" during the weekdays around 5pm which consisted of small bites - all delicious and inclusive with your stay. My boyfriend had to work during our visit and a shuttle was provided to the financial district. The staff were excellent and very friendly.
Cons: We had a bit of a situation where we found rotten food in our mini fridge leftover from previous guests. The manager was very accommodating and provided great customer service. The only other negatives were that the internet was not included with your stay and the bellman/greeters stood by the door but did not open the doors for you which I found a bit odd.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk personnel was very professional and nice. She tried to accommodate all our request.
Cons: None

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is spot on, the rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The check-in/out is easy and the personnel is corteous; we had t use their concierge services twice and they were friendly and prompt.
Cons: Given the hotel class and its prices few things could be better, like a Nespresso machine in the room (very common these days even in 4 stars environments) - a greater selection of TV channels would also ber good. Therer's a Samsung tablet in the room, but you can't really do much with it. On arrival with luggage etc. we had to open the doors ourselves - minial as it may sound, when you're loaded with luggage opening a heavy door isn't that easy especially when you se the door men happily chatting inside.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Once you get past the unprepossessing lobby, the hotel is really excellent. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was large, comfortable and well-appointed. It was bitterly cold so we ate in the hotel, choosing the bar's little plate menu over the Vlentine's Day special menu; each choice was delicious. Large, contemporary bar and restaurant (maybe showing a little wear on the cushions) and excellent service. Location, right on the corner of Times Square, can't be beat if you want to be in the middle of it all. Not cheap, but we weren't on a penny pinching trip. Worth every penny. Special mention to the concierge for fulfilling a couple special requests.
Cons: As noted, the lobby is decidedly underwhelming although the staff was friendly and helpful. Otherwise, no complaints!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious rooms, good service, not great wi-fi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Very sheik and hip. Roof Top Bar is out of this world!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large bath sheets When I called guest services they answered using my name Staff very friendly and so helpful
Cons: Shower could do with more pressure
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Knockerbocker was a very nice hotel with a great location. My only complaint was the day that we left, we stored our bags for a few hours. When we came back to pick them up, it took 20 minutes or so to get them. I had to catch a flight. The front desk was unapologetic about it. They just stood at the desk, while customers waited and were dissatisfied. They need to make sure they are staffed properly at a busy time, and if not, other staff should pitch in. It should be a group effort, because it makes the hotel better as a whole.
7.1 Good
Pros: Continental breakfast was quite okay but could do with changes day-to-day. Consistent in room decor and stylien
Cons: Confusing lobby area. This could be fixed by relocating reception to the left side of the entry area rather than way up the end of the hall. It is too dimly lit too in my opinion. Our Junior Suite (1501) was quite dark with small windows. The complimentary tablet is a gimmick and is not likely to be useful to anyone with a smartphone or their own tablet/laptop. No hand towel rack—where do you put them? Disconcertingly loose bathroom/shower fittings. No coffee. Stain on couch.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The renovation last year really upgraded this NYC classic. Now the interiors are just as lux as the classic facade. Great location in Times Square but quiet and tranquil retreat inside. Great service and really friendly staff. We enjoyed our girls weekend immensely.
Cons: Avoid if you don't like fighting through crowds at Times Square.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Impeccable service Immaculate rooms Excellent location between Times Square and Bryant Park
Cons: Can't complain about anything.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: 2 queen beds made this hotel perfect for our family of four. Located right on Times Square, the hotel held our bags after checkout while we went across the street to see a Broadway show.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We came for the birth of my first grandchild.the hotel is very modern and sleek. Our room was large and well appointed with all of the modern technological conveniences. The mattress was very comfortable with high thread count linens. The bathroom was large and had more bath accessories than I have ever seen. I.e. Cuff links, tooth brush, paste, etc. I loved the large soaking tub. We never heard any outside noise even though this hotel is located in Times Square From the front desk to the doorman, the service was incredible. Leilani, one of the managers even gave us a gift for the new baby. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Pros: Incredible stay at the Refinery. Came here for a surprise birthday present, and the staff were incredible. Made the surprise that muh sweeter with an upgrade and non-stop next-level service. Great hotel, rooftop, jazz, staff, rooms... all great. Will stay here again soon.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I were traveling with our 2 adult children and their traveling companions, so we booked 3 rooms. All rooms were spacious and comfortable. Decor was trendy, with high end amenities. We loved the rooftop bar and had a great meal at the attached restaurant. Location was perfect. Overall, a great stay.
Cons: Some of the furniture in the room was showing some wear. And the desk chair was the only chair in the room. Also, the closet was very small. Not enough space to hang our clothes and coats.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful space with clean rooms and very good service. We only stayed one night but we look forward to returning.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall, a good place to stay if you need to be in Jersey City or lower Manhattan. It is only two blocks from the PATH train and the price certainly beats Manhattan prices.
Cons: The parking is not convenient. It is the shopping center parking garage behind the hotel, but it is not connected in any way to the hotel, which is inconvenient. Also, the shower faucet in our room was broken and we could not get truly hot water without the pipes banging loudly and the shower stall shaking. We were there for two days and it was never fixed.
6.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: 50 dollars for Below average scrabled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal for two... I was not impressed with the price or quality of food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. At check-in, Debbie was wonderful, great sense of humor, and very professional. She upgraded our room and gave us a beautiful view of the Manhattan. The young man at the door was wonderful as well. He was kind and courteous. The beds were very comfortable and clean.
Cons: We didn't like that there was a charge for wi-fi. We normally stay in hotels where the wi-fi is free. On the positive side, since we didn't use it for the 24 hours that we paid for, my credit card was credited and we were only charged half of the fee for wi-fi. Wasn't too thrilled about paying $3.00 for a coke from the little store either.

Pros: The family really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Hotel in Jersey City. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and up to date. I have no complaints. The location was great if you want to go sight-seeing in New York. You are close enough to get to the city in no time (I recommend the subway (Path) with ease and have a location that is away from the hustle and bustle if that is what you prefer and Jersey City is extremely clean and people friendly. I can't recommend it enough!!!!
Cons: Nothing.
9.4 Excellent
Cons: Great stay. Ideal for venturing into NYC great location.

6.0 Good
Cons: The room was very small and was not ready for check in when we got there. We were told we would be called on our cell shortly after we got there to inform us the room was ready and we were never called. We were then charged a fee for checking out an hour after check out and was never told a fee was going to be assessed. I found out when I check my credit card statement later that day.
7.6 Good
Pros: Staff was very nice. Room service was prompt.
Cons: Phone didn't work. Cable didn't have all channels. One girl says can't do late checkout while another says no problem?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, found a good price and well worth the stay.
Cons: Rooms a bit cramped but they were fine for short stay

Pros: Location!! Near the Jersey city mall and the PATH train Friendliness and service from the staff Nice and big rooms, very good breakfast
Cons: Some things need to be refurbished
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Our connecting flight was cancelled due to the bad weather in NY, it was already midnight when I booked the hotel through the Hilton app, we had a good rate and more important there where rooms available. When we came in past 1 am the lady behind the desk was very helpful and understood the situation. She upgraded both rooms to the corner suite and late check out in the afternoon. The rooms where spacious and clean and after a very long day with a lot of stress and international flights it was heaven to have nice warm shower and fresh clean sheets. Service and friendliness as it should be.
Cons: Everything was more then okay
7.7 Good
Pros: Staff, including restaurant staff, were very friendly and professional
Cons: Jersey City NJ. Accessibility from the highway was poor, even utilizing gps.
5.7 Okay
Pros: close proximity to light rail and subway
Cons: lack of view, lack of customer service with rainy day needs; umbrella, dryer for coats and shoes. stayed 2 nights, but hotel split it to two separate nights and we have to check back in and re-key our room keys for the second night. brought personal pillow and maid service removed it during the daily cleaning. T/he pillow was never found.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is walking distance from just about everything and the light rail is behind it. Like the cookie at check in. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Had a room on the 3rd floor and the view was a roof with lots of vents.
6.0 Good
Pros: All of the staff that I encountered were very nice. The bed was comfortable. I also loved the welcome cookie. It was a nice surprise and I was hungry!! The location was great for my needs and is just minutes away from the waterfront.
Cons: The room was nice enough but there was weird white stuff on the walls and in the bathroom. Cleanser maybe? I went down to the bar area and had to wait 5 minutes to be seen/ seated. There were just a few people there so it wasn't a busyness issue. I ordered soup. A little over 5 minutes later the server responded to tell me that the soup would take 25 minutes. I ordered pizza instead. It was fine but I was disappointed. The temperature in the room was freezing. I adjusted it with the thermostat on the wall but the air conditioner continued on, event though I had selected 68 on heat. I ended up pulling the plug to get it to turn off after an hour of adjusting the thermostat and waiting for warmth. I was exhausted from a long day and got in bed to watch tv. The remote control would not turn on the television. I inspected the outlets and they were all okay. The button on the tv worked but, even then, I was only getting 4 commercial channels. The lights on the remote were coming on also so I figured it wasn't batteries. I decided to call the front desk. Unfortunately, the phone in my room did not work/ call to the front desk. I tried both lines but no luck. I even tried dialing other services available on the phone but that just rang and rang. So.... exhausted and frustrated, I got dressed and headed down to the lobby. I had to wait a bit as a few people were just checking in. The person at the desk was very nice and sent someone up to my room. The man arrived to fix the television. He was extremely nice but the issue did take about 15 minutes or so to resolve. He wasn't sure why the issue happened but he had to get a special remote and change some settings. In the morning, I headed down to the restaurant again. I asked if I could order from the menu. I was told buffet only, though I think there may have been a communication issue. I later asked a different server after I saw the selection up close. It was generally unimpressive. She said that I could order from the menu but I decided to just stick with the buffet since the menu would take longer and I felt like I was being a burden by ordering. I was extremely disappointed overall. The eggs, potatoes and waffles were all cold. I ate just a little bit and spent over $20 with tip. I was extremely disappointed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend or stay at this hotel again, unfortunately.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room size and lobby staff
Cons: Service on the room was not attempted until 5:20 p.m.
7.7 Good
Cons: The bathroom was very undesirable!! From the door not shutting all the way (sitting at the desk you could see the person sitting on the toilet because there was that much of a gap) to the shower that everyone can see your shadow in - so uncomfortable with others in the room
8.2 Excellent
Cons: Near Times Square, cleanliness and open room with large window...
6.5 Good
Pros: The location was great for Broadway shows.
Cons: The rooms were minimalist, which is okay because you aren’t there much. However, the biggest problem we had was that our key demagnetized EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. We put it in different pockets, away from cell phones, we were very careful because it got SO ANNOYING to have to trek back to the desk from the 17th floor every time we went back to the room. Our subway cards didn’t demagnetize stored the same way. I stay in hotels frequently at all price points and have never had this consistent a problem with room access. By the end of the trip I thought I should just probably go wait in the front desk line every time I walked through the lobby just to avoid the trip back down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was really nice. Great view and location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy walk over to Times Square. The room was beautiful and I really felt like I got a great deal staying here! It's New York so of course it was a tight fit, but our family of four in the double deluxe room never felt too crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood was close enough to Subways and other destinations, but far enough from all the action and noise. Will definitely remember this place the next time I visit New York!
Cons: The only issue that ever came up was the shower would leak a bit into the hallway floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Full buffet breakfast saves money and time running out elsewhere. Location is perfect. Only a block from Times Square. A block from most broadway shows. Lots of restaurants close by and close to subway . Our flight was early and they gave us a room at 9:30am at no extra charge . We will definitiley stay there again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern design, the lounge area is designed to incorporate as co-working space where people can do work or have meeting, rooftop bar with great view to the city and empire state building, free bike rental, friendly staff
Cons: The room is a little small compare to other traditional hotel but it is really clever designed to maximize the use of space. There's only one glass door between the bathroom and the outside. If you share the room with someone, your 'business' could be heard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great studio space for working with yummy food and bar services available throughout the common areas. Surrounded by the city and all the great Korean food. Wifi is included and suer nice staff. Great value in this city.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: As an interior designer, I have an appreciation to the level of design and details. The room was small, but because of thoughtful use of space, it functioned really well for our needs, plus with an expansive corner of floor to ceiling glass, it still felt open and airy. Great views. We loved hanging out in the public spaces, listening to live jazz. Only disappointment was that the roof deck was not open during our stay. Would have liked to have experienced that. The breakfast toast available in the lobby was amazing.
Cons: The HVAC system was loud. I did not sleep well the first night because of it. The entry doors are huge and heavy. While the ADA automatic door buttons were helpful, a door man would be a nice addition to help guests in and out of the Lobby with luggage. The elevators were slow. At times there was a line to get on the elevator on main level.

Cons: Slow Wi-Fi
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good, esp for those who want a quiet place or need to get to the UN. Beds are very comfortable, exercise equipment available in the room, and room is well apportioned.
Cons: No room service, staff can be a bit overwhelmed at times, not in the heart of the city (if that is important)
