A representative never showed up at the airport to meet me, they never tried to contact me to say there was an issue, and the phone number given never worked. I called 24 times throughout the day. I ended up renting from Europcar at the counter for three times the price. I think it's a SCAM. I was in Vienna.

I couldn’t find the location and no shuttle to the location of the car. The website description makes it seem as though it’s the airport area. It is not. Tried to call the facility but no answer. Ended up getting a rental from hertz which provides transportation to car rental area. DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDER.

There was nobody at the office. And they refused to refund me after not having a car.

We had to call from the airport twice to get a pickup to the rental location which was 10 minute ride . Once there we found out that they did not recognize our insurance and I had to pay $260 for insurance . This now made my rental car more expensive than what was at the airports . Drop off went smooth , but we were dropped off at the rental location other than airport drop off for the airport .

Very bad. We paid by card $14 for two days, but when we went to get the car they ask us to pay 7 times this price plus $150 as a deposit. Why not to tell us the truth from the beginning, so we know the exact price. I am asking for paying me back the $14.

When picking up I fave the agent a voucher for the rental but I charged a 2nd time. I paid for full coverage insurance, my hubcaps got stolen and I have just received an invoice for the cost of replacing the hubcaps. This is not what I expected having paid the insurance premium. Will never rent from Woodford again. A rental that should have cost just over $300 is now costing me over $1000.

Drop off was OK, but no closing invoice was issued when I dropped off. I was promised this would be emailed, but this did not materialise

Friendly service but slow as it’s africa! Didn’t get the car I was expecting so had to upgrade half way through rental.

Cons:

After we told them no insurance they put it on the paper work then when we pointed it out he had to start the paperwork over again. Originally issued a car with no gas and smelled like cigarettes badly. Had to unpack our backs and go all the way back to the rental center. No apology. Just a silent reissue of keys. Drop off was chaotic. No return recipet was issued.

Cons:

You will get charged unexplained fees that will double the quoted Kayak rate, including a "fuel service fee" that no one will disclose to you until it shows up on your receipt and credit card statement. I will not be renting with Avis again.

It was a good car for the category I have selected.

Cons:

The car had some noise in the wheels during the whole renting days, which I could not identify. I believe that if the car has gone through some check before being delivered, this slight problem could be fixed.

Pros:

Nothing. They we're almost impossible to get a hold of, couldn't look up any information on their computers, told us they would email us multiple times and never did. 0/10 would never recommend to anyone.

Cons:

We tried to change vehicle travel dates multiple times, it was well within our travel policy but they said we had to do it on Kayak, kayak said we had to do it with them, when we circled back to them they said they can only give us a partial refund, they they said we need to talk to their special refund customer service department. They never got back to us, we called again, they said they would be contacting us within 24 hours. They never contacted us, we called again and they said we had to wait to hear back from their special department which weeks later has still not contacted us. Honestly this company seems like way more of a scam then an actual rental company. Avoid at all costs and go to another more reputable rental company.

Cons:

I arranged for a 5 am pickup. There was no shuttle. I was then waiting for the office to open at 6am as was posted at the office. By 6:10 there was still no one. I rented a vehicle from Avis. I will not be using hertz again.

When I removed the car the employee said that the car was new and had no defects, including the marking sheet showed no malfunctions. Arriving in the car we found several risks and breakdowns and took a picture, because the employee said that anything later was discounted. but at the time of returni

The staff was friendly and the car was nice.

Cons:

The wait was quite long getting the car. I was told it was easy to see the gas station at the airport upon the return but I didn’t. Someone from another rental helped me find it and actually rode with me. And they charged my credit card a $1300 deposit but haven’t credited it yet as promised.

The staff offered an upgrade. The process was easy and fast upon checking in and out. We got a great price as well!

Cons:

The car was small. We could have gotten a bigger size only because my husband is a giant! But that was out doing, not the company’s.

Contract should stipulate that the e-toll cost will be for customer’s account just for clarity. Otherwise a good deal and no problems at all. Well done to Tempest and Europcar through whom it was hired. Thank you!

1. The counter/car was not at the location stated 2. The new location is not 24/7 3. Although their email confirmation stated we could decline insurance, at the counter they added insurance without asking and insisted it was mandatory 4. The whole process was a colossal waste of time and energy as we ended up cancelling the reservation/transaction We ended up going to Hertz where we were treated politely and helped quickly. Insurance was not forced on us and we got the rate promised.

This was a scam. Deceptive marketing with hidden fees and predatory practices on the consumer. I canceled reservation onsite , didn’t take the car and will never use them or affiliate rental companies. I will never recommend them.

Online your able to pay with an American Express Card. When you get there after a long flight and a a long drive from Mimai Airport to get there....they tell you we do not accept American Express cards. Mr and two other customers went through the same thing...there was a lot of upset people in the same boat...yelling, arguing. I will never use them again! Stop accepting American Express online for carwiz!
