Breakfast, comfy rooms, friendly staff
My room was left unlocked with the key in the door by cleaning staff, I don’t know for how long. Failed to inform me, in spite of the fact that we were the only guests that they wanted £55 a head for NYE until NYE morning. With the expensive bar prices that would have meant spending well over £250 to see in the new year in the middle of nowhere, the management had 2/3 months to let me know this, but failed to do so. So we checked out early and drove home, on checking out they tried to overcharge me £80 above my booking.com agreed price.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely restaurant
We have stayed here before. Staff very friendly, atmosphere of the hotel lovely. Rooms comfortable and extremely clean and the food in the restaurant for both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. I have food intolerance and they couldn't do enough to assist me with the ingredients.
I had emailed ahead for gluten free menu and didn't receive it. Also asked for gluten free bread but didn't have any. Not a problem though as the food was explained to me and i didn't really need bread in the end.
Excellent service, brilliant staff, really enjoyed our stay. Food was amazing
Love this little gem!! It’s comfortable, cosy & welcoming. Breakfast is plentiful & delicious.
