Pros: Breakfast, comfy rooms, friendly staff
Cons: My room was left unlocked with the key in the door by cleaning staff, I don’t know for how long. Failed to inform me, in spite of the fact that we were the only guests that they wanted £55 a head for NYE until NYE morning. With the expensive bar prices that would have meant spending well over £250 to see in the new year in the middle of nowhere, the management had 2/3 months to let me know this, but failed to do so. So we checked out early and drove home, on checking out they tried to overcharge me £80 above my booking.com agreed price.

Pros: Ample choice and friendly staff everything you would need. never hassled and take as long as you like, chef keeping on top of the food making sure all is available .

The 4-star Mercure Bewdley The Heath Hotel combines 19th century heritage and picturesque country surrounds. This historic Victorian splendour is set among 20 acres of landscaped gardens across the Worcestershire countryside and is close to West Midland Safari Park. Wind down in the onsite Feel Good Health Club and enjoy an internationally inspired menu in The Court restaurant or light snacks in the The Court Bar and Terrace.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: 2 nights for 2 £95 !
Cons: Bit old and tatty but adequate, huge room plus balcony. £5 plus a pint in bar not necessary.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very old decor in room. Paint splashes on carpet. Dirty bath with tide marks. Shower tray gummed up with hair. Dim lighting in bathroom due to years’ of flies in the ceiling light, broken bulb, dust on mirror light. Creaky bed and window frame which rattled in the wind. I brought these issues to the attention of management by email but got no response.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was very large and spacious. The beds were very comfortable
Cons: My booking had not gone through to the hotel so I had to pre-authorise an additional charge (larger than my booking cost) to my card. There was no one available to check this with when I left in the morning so I hope I am not being double charged! There was a half empty drinks bottle behind one of the curtains - I did not move it The bathroom could have been cleaner
