10.0 Excellent
Pros: This facility checked all of the boxes --- clean, well-maintained, and perfectly situated. Sam's Tours is practically across the street, as well as a mini-mart for fruits and veggies that are nice to have while away from home. The hotel grounds are impeccable, and the staff very attentive. I would book this place again in a heartbeat --- excellent!!

7.5 Good
Pros: Great spa , very nice beach. Everything needed is on the property
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is beautiful.
Cons: Without Internet and drinkable tap water, this is a challenging hotel for a business traveler. Palau Pacific Resort, on another island, offers both.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: modern clean hotel with nice beach
7.1 Good

7.1 Good
Pros: Location is perfect- we were going to Aggressor liveabord and were picked up from the marina which is the backyard of the resort. Nextdoor Drop-off bar is quite nice as well as the Legend sauna across the street. Both are good value for money and of high quality. Nice pool and outdoor area. Lobby and hallways need some renovation, carpets are very run down, however the rooms (on 3rd floor) are big, look nice enough and are comfortable, with a really nice, crispy white covered kingsize bed. Pretty sure the interiors of the rooms we stayed in are relatively new.
Cons: The restaurant of the Cove is not so good. Messy service, the food is below average. For breakfast/ lunch Coffee berry, on the mainstreet in town is much better. On sundays there is a live ukelele player / singer at the Cove, who is very enthousiastic and I guess others appreciate it, but we found it was way too loud, really not in tune and just not our cup of tea. Not very relaxing, we managed with good headphones and music. The staff at the frontdesk and the owner/management are friendly and sweet, they were very accomodating in solving some (small) issues. The price is on the high side, even in low season. But compared to other hotels in the pricecategory and lower, from what we have seen and heard from fellow divers, the Cove is probably the best option. Recommendable!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly, helpful staff.
Palau Pacific Resort - Koror - Building

Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Snorkelling off the beach. Massages at the spa.
Cons: Beds were 2 seperate doubles and were hard with hard pillows and a doona with no sheet despite the hot climate.
7.1 Good
Pros: Hotel is old, but it is the best in Palau. The facilities of this 5 star resort could only rate 4 star in other well developed tourist destination such as Thailand, Maldives, but in Palau it is the best.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked this resort because it was recommended to us as the best in Palau. We had a 3-night stay at an ocean front king room and the sunrise and sunset views didn't disappoint. The breakfast selection was good but not the best we had at a 5-star resort similar to its price range. The lunch and dinner menu was packed with Western and Asian choices, although the drinks choices are less so impressive. Our room and the overall facilities within the resort were somewhat trapped in the 90s and coutld use some updating, however the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also had a few treatments at the Mandara Spa and the facilities were very much what I expected of a 5-star resort spa, despite the cosntruction noises from the new ocean front villas nearyby. Generally speaking, the accomodation here is pricy for what it offers but I would be happy to pay the price for the priviledge of its small, private and tranquil beach and the stunning sunset that's very tough to beat. Such a shame that the resort is fully booked during Xmas 2019 as we were hoping to come back and do it all again!
Cons: Our bathroom and a few areas within the resort can use some modernisation and general updating.
7.5 Good
Cons: I thought I left my stuff in my room after checkout. And I made a phonecall and emailed to the resort. But after a day, I didn't receive any message yet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location on a lovely beach, pool area really beautiful
Cons: It’s a lot of money per night although of course it’s a remote location
6.7 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, and the buffet and food was overall quite decent. Some staff were extremely friendly and cheerful, and made us feel truly welcomed. The fine dining part of the restaurant was a great experience, and the cooks that were preparing food out by the buffet were a treat, very accommodating. The beach is one of a kind for Palau, and although artificial you will not find a better one in any hotel. Other places seemed happy to pick us up at the hotel lobby or dock by boat, despite the somewhat remote location.
Cons: The kindness of the staff was uneven; some were very kind while others were rude, some to the point of ignoring my wife when she asked for things. Others seemed almost aggressive. While my wife is not a native speaker of English, she is an English teacher and speaks quite well. While we were on the beach I asked for some popcorn at the bar and the bartender looked at me and told me to order something first. I said sure. She just stared at me and then followed up with "well, are you going to order something?" I was sort of in shock...my wife and I had been waiting on the beach near the bar so I had come up to get a menu for us. Once I explained that it would be sort of rude to order for myself and not my wife, the bartender was overly apologetic and told me she would bring everything down for us. My wife ended up going back up to the bar and carried the drinks and popcorn down herself. There were maybe 4 other people at the bar at most, already served. When we came up to the bar later, the service eventually led my wife to just want to leave, which we did. We had a couple of other similar experiences during our stay there, which had never happened to us before at a 5 star hotel (or anywhere, for that matter). One night the staff was very attentive at dinner, filling up our water glasses when they were empty and asking how our meal was and if they could get us anything else. Another time my glass sat empty for quite awhile, and after the waiter had walked by a half dozen times without looking our way I went to fill it up myself, which I was then told was against the rules. These experiences were *not* the norm here, but something like this seemed to happen every day to either me or my wife. The room itself was quite dark, and somewhat small. There is very little space to put your suitcases. The hotel seemed quite overpriced, even given the nature of Palau. Paying a premium for the above interactions is...certainly a first for me.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The restaurants provided excellent service, but the food was just okay. A lot of pre-frozen foods. Not fresh.
7.5 Good
Pros: place quite. very clean. the only place in Palau in which you can see the sunset. good beach. possibility to stay after check out until late night, waiting flights leaving during night. Good restaurant but really expensive. Also for 5 star hotel. But we're in Palau. You can consider that in Palau (Koror center) you can find a voucher just for facility, in order to be able to spend the day in the resort until the flight. This voucher is really cheaper compare to spend a night to PPR
Cons: The best hotel in Palau, but far from others 5 star around the world, expecially considering the price. Room too small and bathroom not at the height of 5 star. Restaurant in the beach really expensive and not "romantic" at all. In general good resort, but nothing special. The only special thing is the price
8.8 Excellent
Pros: breath-taking resort, loved every minute of it. Friendly staffs and great foods! I really enjoyed staying there. The view is undescribable.
Cons: It's bit shame that price is too high and also I think it is because of tropical weather, but I could see some ants crawling around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort was amazing. Our rooms included the morning buffet. Everyone is up early and enjoys breakfast before the day on the water - typically diving. We had 2 rooms - one for our adult children and the water bungalow for my husband and I. The water bungalow was expensive but worth it! We loved staying out there.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A guest feels nearly like family with the welcoming staff. This small private resort is location immediately above a dock yielding access to the lagoon, with lagoon views in a quiet tropical setting. Kayaking and snorkeling from this dock was exceptional, and the lodge staff offer super guided tours to do so. Transportation to town was economical and convenient to visit visitor attractions and events. I should have taken more advantage of the optional meals, as the chef offered superbly prepared local fresh fish dishes.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely nice and helpful. Bedroom underwhelming, but very clean. Location at the lagoon very beautiful
Cons: Bedroom bit underwhelming

Pros: There is nice view when I wake up early morning I saw nice around Also lunch and dinner are very very yammy!!!!!
Cons: In the room the facility was a little bit old
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was outstanding - very attentive and so nice. They helped with any questions we had about a rental car, booking tours, etc. They will even book a tour for you if you like. On our last night we were offered a traditional Palauan meal and the owners ate with us, which was very cool. Great fish. We also enjoyed that the location is in a neighborhood near to downtown Koror, so it was fairly close but away from the hustle and bustle. We sat on our balcony overlooking the lagoon each night and watched the birds and bats at sunset.
Cons: The fixtures are a little outdated but it is a comfortable and clean place to stay. It is nice having a kitchen area and large balcony.
7.5 Good
Pros: everything
Cons: no

Cons: ants in the bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the smiles on those friendly staff at the front desk, during breakfast, or even meeting them at corridors; they are just so friendly and make you feel straight at home (a very luxurious home!). I also like the interior decor of the hotel. Feels very much like being inside a cruise ship. Staying at Palasia is very convenient. Palasia Hotel situates only minutes walk to local restaurants, shops, and cafes as well as a very cool bar that sits only opposite the hotel. The friendly staff was able to help book tours and rental cars without hassles, and provides beach towel as well! It has a secured underground car park so I didn't have to worry about my rental car. If I would go back to Koror, Palau, I will definitely come stay at Palasia!
Cons: At times I was not able to connect to the Hotel's WiFi, but that could have been due to my phone or the weather. If you are after good internet, it is recommended to buy their local sim card from PNCC.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very central location, free wifi, clean room with a great view and comfortable bed! Nice and helpful staff for you to make everything you need in Palau(renting a car, booking tours, recommending restaurants...etc. ) Many warm and good service like sauna, gym, welcome drink~

5.1 Okay
Pros: My room view.
Cons: The two young men at the front desk were not welcoming to our arrival and gave us little information to the check in process or an orientation to how to get to our room. Just handed the key and looked away kind of greeting. The interaction was very minimal. Maybe it was a language or culture barrier but I felt an awkwardness in the air. We got to our room and the corner view of our room was beautiful. Online we booked two queens but were given a single king. Since we needed a bed for my sister we went back to the front desk asking for accommodation ( either another room with appropriate sleeping arrangements or a roll a away ). Since the hotel was booked they could only give us a roll away. But charge us another $400 that includes nightly roll a away plus extra person charge for the 4 nights we had intended to stay. Long story short, we had to argue that we would not pay another $400 in additional cost since that was not what we originally booked. I had to go back upstairs, grab a copy of my detailed receipt from my online booking to prove what I paid and what I booked for. It was not until then he got a manager who then agreeably delivers a roll away to our room with out charging the extra $400. During our stay the next few days, anytime we passed by the lobby, the front desk guys would turn their heads away from us - no smile, no hello, no eye contact. I honstely feel like they did not like us. Which is so sad because I am half Palauan, visiting Palau for the first time on a dive trip and to visit my Palauan relatives. (Not that being Palauan means anything more than the next person, but it meant a lot to me and visiting the island for the first time) On a side note, I agree with the other reviewers, the hotel caters to the Chinese just based on my observations and guest experience. Poor hospitality.

Cons: A bit far from the center but anyway, not much going on there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to my work. Good restaurant right beside hotel. Friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, good price, perfect for a solo traveller if all you need a room for is to sleep for the night, might have gone for a different option with more facilities if I was travelling with a partner.
Cons: They could've offered me a late check out as my flight was really late and the hotel seemed quite empty so I don't think it was booked out, but the check out hours are quite strict.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value hotel. Helpful staff. Excellent restaurant next door, can charge from there to room. If you want to use a pool local hotels do day passes.
Cons: Can be noisy near the 'luggage lift' (guests use stairs, two flights maximum so not bad!)
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice with reasonable portions...waiting staff were very polite...
Cons: Requested fried eggs over easy...got fried not so easy...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for joining a liveaboard, we were collected from the dock less than 100 yards away. Comfortable beds, excellent location for the dock, not far from the town for entertainment, or there is a handy bar/bistro next door.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Our room had a nice view over the lake. Even though it had a common balcony it was very pleasant! The room was always very neat and clean! It is well located, just 5 minutes walking to the main street where all the services are located. The lovely lady in the front desk (you can see her in the pictures) was just amazing with us, helping us organising our tours!
Cons: It could have an option with breakfast included. Still, we enjoyed taking our own breakfast every morning in the balcony.
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenience!!!
Cons: Cars speeding by after 10pm
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice simple set up , quiet location but still an easy walk to town. Attached to possibly the finest restaurant in Palau - the Red Rooster. No need to eat anywhere else !!!
Cons: Though a non-smoking establishment my room smelt of cigarettes as indeed did much of the establishment.
4.2 Okay
Pros: airport transfer is on-time, and this is the only good point I can give to this hotel.
Cons: 1.Very noisy when you tried to have a sleep in your room. The cleaners or workers I dunt know, talked very loudly. 2.I hate the non-free wifi. for a traveler only use very little internet service, it is shocking to know that wifi need to be paid for use, never met that before. 3.Everything in the room is not new, very old.....compared to this price, I would say....well...next time I definitely not select this hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: The extra friendly staff.
Cons: No elevator, only for luggages.
7.5 Good
Pros: Shoreline that manages to keep shower water in the shower stall
Cons: The room had a musty smell No coffee or ever available until restaurant opened at 5pm
