Location is great.
The bathroom facilities in the room were a joke, water never got hot, water pressure terrible. Also, no coffee in room.
Everything
Ok
Rooms were updated and clean, beds were comfortable
I called a week before we stayed and asked if they supplied life vests (for rent or for free) and the woman told me that they were available. When I got to the pool I didn’t see anything and I found 2 employees and both of them said that life vests have never been available before. Additionally, at 3am the fire alarm went off. We got dressed and carried our sleeping children to the lobby and not a single staff member acknowledged anyone-myself or the rest of the guests waiting in the lobby. We didn’t know if it was a real fire or a prank. There was a woman standing at the front desk and never acknowledged us. We decided that once the fire fighters started exiting the building calmly that all was clear to return to our rooms. Nothing was ever acknowledged from anyone at Wyndham that this was the case. I have stayed in this hotel before and was extremely disappointed in my stay and will not be returning.
Overpriced. Water is the same price as at Disney. "Disney view" was more of a view of a parking lot and some of Disney Springs (restaurants) in the background. Not that close to Disney. With the drive time (traffic) it took about 15 min. Disney Springs is not in walking distance (unless you want to walk over a mile). And the fees are extensive: $28/day resort fee, $17 breakfast, ordered one burger for dinner $33.60. Parking $30/day. Just not worth it. When you add up the fees, you can stay at a much nicer property for the same price, or stay at a similar property for a lot less.
All good once you get past check-in
Location was perfect
Staff at check-in was rude, and clearly did not understand his job. Which is unfortunate since that is the first impression people get of the faciliy
NOT A 4-STAR PROPERTY!
Location is great, complimentary shuttles to Disney Parks
The room was dusty, old, outdated furniture, carpet hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, a roach on the carpet.... Also beware of fees: resort $25/day and $15/ day for either valet or self parking. Not coming back here. Some of the staff rude or deceiving
Wonderful staff-great location
The staff (I mean Everyone!) were amazing! Room was nice and location next to Disney springs was great for shopping and eating( make reservations early) . The pools were also a great hit with the family.
Only minor issue was a noisy refrigerator ( we unplugged it)
Good stay but...
Close to Disney springs which is great for food options and shopping. Nice views of the resort. Good buses that were relatively on time and not too crowded.
Be careful when booking thru a third party. Rooms in the WYNDHAM (Not the garden) are double queen rooms. The Wyndham Garden is a motel style and rooms are interpreted as "double standard" even when booking specifically for the regular hotel. After 3 hours on the phone with kayak/booking.com we were able to get the hotel to get us in the right room (NOT the motel)
Won't be back
Location
Let me start. I paid for a Disney view tower room that described with a sofa bed. As we had a possibility of 7 people in the room. When I check in, there are NO rooms.availa me that I paid for. Get to the room, no sofa bed, no microwave, no Downey view. The beds are hard. I asked housekeeping for more towels, they never came and did our room. So we had to ask the desk at 11pm for more towels after we returned from the park. As much as one pays for that room, and how they promote they are part of Disney, a family Park, they do not cater to families. The rooms are small and if your baby likes to be rocked at night, you’re screwed. Why don’t hotels put chairs that rock to help a momma out? So we ended up with 4 kids -19,17,4,3 in one queen bed and us with a 1 yr old in the other. Our stroller didn’t even fit through the door. Had to collapse it to bring it into the room! I don’t recommend this hotel to families at all. I will not be staying here again. There are better, bigger and cheaper hotels in Orlando. I am a Disney annual pass holder so I’m there often.
Nice hotel but thin walls
Comfy beds, nice staff, clean
Thin walls- heard every word of the neighbor’s argument and slamming of doors. Second night was quiet.
The rooms were amazing, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were amazing!
