I loved the modern up to date look of the rooms and they were clean. The pool was open and clean as well.Staff was super nice I didnt like how it shows on the map before booking that its right on the ocean but its actually not. You have to walk about a mile to get to the public access for the beach or drive and pay to park.
Great location. Nice room. I am happy for big refrigerator. Thsnk you, I had good one night. I miss breakfast there.
Not enough parking.
The room and the pool 24hrs was great The person in the front desk during the morning shift. Poor manners, horrible service, rude and not friendly.
No beach access
We had a jaccuzzi in our honeymoon suite. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly and we could use all of the 4 pool areas.
The hotel was adequate for our needs. Found some stray hairs in the bed sheets that didn't belong to either of the party and the beds were rather hard. The beds were hard.
Value Helpful, friendly staff Good breakfasts No frig in room
Comfortable beds, although, room very crowded. Wifi good. Reception staff friendly. Included breakfast poor, paper plates, plastic knives and forks. Scrambled egg and omelettes probably the worst I have ever had anywhere, factory made I suspect and warmed up, even the airlines do better.
Very good breakfast set up. Very good coffee, available all day. also fruit basket with fresh fruit.
We stayed 3 days it was nice my kids enjoy it alot, you have the pool and the beach right there,it was awsome, the location was great you have a big Boulevard of restaurants, cafe,a small mall...all in front of the beach... I did not like that you have to rent the chair and umbrella,of the beach that should be included,
Rooms need update. Lobby and the other parts of hotel have been updated.
Disliked valet parking and was also displeased to have to pay $15.00 per day for parking. I booked two rooms and was pleased with my view of the ocean and beach from my balcony; my son and his wife, however, had no view at all in the second room booked. Our rooms were clean, but had been told at the hot tub/pool area by others that their room left a lot to be desired. I would, however, consider using this hotel if I were in the area again.
View was fantastic. Front desk was excellent in getting our rooms near each other. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Guess the only thing I didn't like was paying $18 per day for parking whether you parked it yourself or used valet.
Liked the pool and beach The rooms felt old, dated and carpet was old and smelly.
Clean friendly staff. Drinks great! That I had to leave.
Location was nice. Decent value. HBO. Large rooms. 15$ extra EACH night for parking is ridiculous. Had issues with charging parking to my room. Thin walls, can hear kids screaming. Rooms not as clean and they should be. Found rust in my shower. AC unit was noisy.
Location on the beach with easy access was nice. Also, I appreciated that they let you take pool towels onto the beach (at least I didn't see a sign telling you not to). It wasn't just the outdated room infested with ants that irritated me (not the biting kind; the ones that just seek out food residue). It was really the little things that pissed me off. Like in the bathroom, which seemed nice and updated but then you realize that the sink doesn't turn off. And the toilet paper holder doesn't fit the slots in the wall. Also, remember that their private beach is THEIR private beach, not yours. If you want to sit in a chair or have some water you must buy it from THEM. You can't bring your own. This is basically a $69 budget hotel in a great location which allows them to jack up the room rates.
Loved the location. My husband and I really wanted to spend time at the beach and relax. Restaurant lighting is more cafeteria style and lacks ambience. Food was not good, burned & a major disappointment.
Not impressed with the overall condition.
We really liked the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone was helpful and fun to talk too. The beach view is great! The Tiki bar was fun and efficient!
Beach front location, relatively quiet . Bed was comfortable and seemed clean. , . - Room was very dark, old beaten up furniture, - very small sink area and bathroom, - air conditioner was not possible to shut off or adjust, it was unnecessary noisy and cold in the room. - terrible pillows, used my own travel pillow - Kind of very gloomy depressing room. - very cold inside lobby and restaurant. weather was rainy but staying inside was even worse
Nothing. The hotel was very dilapidated and run down. The furniture was dirty and the floor and walls spotted. The bathroom was dirty and the hotel did not provide towels in either of the rooms we rented. We did not even stay the night. checked out after 5 hours.
It was a casual hotel. Computers to use in the lobby. I did not like the balconies. I like to sit outside in a chair and relax on the balcony. There was no way you could do that at this hotel. And the door leading into the hotel room was broken and flimsy.
We are golfers, and used the golf course several times. The location was good for what we wanted. If we wanted the beach we would have chosen another location. No
We paid $50 for a room key, But due to a storm, no room key was available.
Price reasonable Staff sucks. Too busy joking around and dont want to be serious
The only good thing was the price. Arrived to a dirty room, had to pick out a different one- regardless all the rooms were dirty and had problems either with beds, A/C or moldy floors. No soap in the bathroom at all, asked the staff, the cleaning lady never showed up with the soap, i'm guessing they don't provide soap. Heard a rooster on someone's balcony from 4 am till 7 am. Neighbors were very noisy, didn't get any sleep. The smell of weed everywhere. Outside of the hotel looks old, poorly maintained and trash everywhere.
Comfortable rooms, wi-fi access for free, hotel location Breakfast service very slow
The staff at the desk was nice. We were greeted at the room by roaches on the wall, in the bathroom, on our night table. I slept with the light on the whole night because i was scared to be in the dark with so many roaches
Nice location, nice looking from the exterior, and nice lobby. That's it. Rooms were run down. Soap dispenser leaking/dripping soap to the floor, creating a puddle. Pillow dirty, and had a public hair. Wood floor was cracked and chipping for away. Shower window had soap scum everywhere. Tub was old and rusty. Room had a smell. Air condition works and was cold, but adjuster knob broken. And the hallways to the rooms were very run down too. Basically, the guest rooms didn't match it's location and lobby.
It is hotel that tries to look luxurious or was at some point but it still looks a bit nice. Overall we only needed it for an emergency night so it worked out and great price.! The Custumer service could be upgraded, the rooms are clean but a little rusty when we got to the room it drinked like a lot of bleach, ither they had jut cleaned it or it made me wonder why they had to use sooo much bleach. And the bed ONLY have a super thin sheet so if you are styling there and would like to be worm take your own blankets .!!
Nothing This place was scary. The rooms were terrible, and the hotel seems to be undergoing construction? All Inculsive? That's a joke. The room next to me was gutted and you could see into it from the hole in the door. I had to leave after an hour because i didn't feel safe.
We stayed at Gallery one prior to boarding the Eurodam at Port Everglades. The hotel was a wonderful way to bridge the time from work to vacation. The location on the intercoastal, and its position as a stop for the water taxi, made the hotel a real treat. The nearby Galleria Mall was extremely convenient.
The suite had everything on my wish list, compements to the staff who were more than helpful. It was further from the beach than I thought,
comfy bed, liked the separate lounge area, good room service, friendly staff A/c in bar was way too cold, doors to suites were very noisy in the morning the slamming woke me up when people left(maybe a bit of padding?)
We came here after leaving our first hotel. Great location, clean, comfortable and great view of the channel. Valet could be a little less.
Great value and an excellent location.
Everything was great - the service staff was incredible! the suite was gorgeous and very clean - loved it! Will definitely be staying there again! The only problem was the gym - it's way too small and claustrophobic. For a hotel this size - they need to expand this - I tried 4 times to use the gym and it was full - holds about 10 people comfortably.
Nothing at all . Poor raining and wait about 1,5 hours for check in due that the electrical system was down. Pretty bad for a chain of Hotel like that. Furthermore no internet connection work ... is good that exist some Panera Bread store in the area .. at least I was able to check e-mail and have a good breakfast. Next time I will stay in Miami. Unfurtunately nothing.
Was only there one night. Barely in the room. Nothing bad to say
I loved the duvet and cookies on arrival!!! and the concierge was just so helpful. The room was really nice, the website doesn't do it justice and the room service was excellent, food was great. oh and the breakfast was fab! Marie on reception was so helpful, she ordered us a transfer service to sawgrass mills for $70 round trip for the 2 of us. I thought this was great- thanks Marie! There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like. I would stay here again however I would hire a car, even though there are some things close by, we were a little tied unless we took a taxi and they are fairly expensive in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel had a fixed rate service called ATS which were brilliant and much cheaper.
Very warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival (the 'welcome' cookies are highly recommended!) and equally impressive service from the valet, bar and restaurant staff. The room (double suite with 2xqueen sized beds) was very clean and homely - exactly like the photo's posted on the hotel website! The water taxi to Fort Lauderdale beachfront and Las Olas Boulevard stops directly outside the rear of the hotel and is an excellent facility for guests who don't have use of a car and, with the commentary provided by the staff on board, it's also a great opportunity to learn a little more about the area on route to your stop! Order the Doubletree burger - tasting is believing! Only one minor criticism - having been asked to provide a credit card to secure the booking (by booking.com) and again on arrival at the hotel(i.e. two different credit cards), it's not good practice to assume the bill would be settled by credit card without checking the preferred method of payment with the guest first (which on this occasion, would've been cash). While the 'express check out' service is a great idea, this had all done by reception very early on the day of our departure (we were up at7.30am and the receipt had already been pushed under the door!) I would have preferred the hotel to ask me how the bill would be settled and if not by cash, to check that the card provided at check in, was the card to be charged.
Right on the waterway in Ft. Lauderdale
Very pleasant, friendly, courteous, helpful, professional staff willing to go out of their way to be of service. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice view from our balcony of the inter-coastal waterway and all of the boats and yachts passing by. Our stay was very pleasant from start to finish. Sliding door to balcony made a grinding noise when it was opened and we could hear the door above and below opening from time to time during the evening. The doors just need a little maintenance. For some reason the cleaning staff was short wash cloths a couple of days and we had to call to get them delivered to our room.
It is a "nothing special hotel", next to a very busy road. Luckily my room was not noisy. Maybe the breakfast is a little boring after a few days. Also the wireless had problems in my room.
Nothing. I could not wait to check out. Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. the room I was transferred to had the A.C. off. I had the front desk figure out the connection. the room did not cool off until after 3 A.M.
I liked the staff, the kinda retro vibe, low keyed. It was right next to the beach, just had to cross the A1A. Bar right there, free breakfast. Lauderdale by the Sea is more relaxed than Ft. Lauderdale and they didn't allow spring breakers in so there was never loud noise. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was all fine. It isn't luxury by any means so if you like super fancy, this isn't the place. Other than that, it was perfect.
Nothing that we liked, my wife wanted to leave immediately and couldn't wait to leave, we travel the world, but this hotel is no three star, may be less than one.
The hotel was located across the street from the beach which was easily accessible. Many restaurants and clubs were nearby. Staff was helpful when we were in need of cab service. The bathroom, although small, had been recently renovated. The hotel is in need of updating. Many things were outdated. We felt the room was overpriced, although we were there during high season.
Staff was was friendly, WIFI was very sporadic....and had to be outside to use it. So bring a long Ethernet cable as the port may not be in an ideal location (mine was hidden behind the TV stand) . Bar was closed (by the state of Florida.....not sure why.) Close to Beach, local stores and restaurants. Not fancy....no frills....but a good value. WIFI isn't strong ....must be outside of room (in patio area) to use. Even then it was sporadic. Parking was a little limited due to the rear parking lot losing about 10 spaces due to being flooded.
Too far from airport and ship port. Was not clean. Didn't book our shuttle when we requested it. Continental Breakfast was awful.
The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The hotel was in a prime location and we could use two beaches. One was within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance and the 'Fort Lauderdale Beach' was 5 - 10 minutes on the bus. There were a great choice of restaurants in the area too.
This hotel was an unexpected treat because has the original architecture, lighting and friendly staff without even trying to market their retro vibe. Reminds me of the hotels in the south florida mysterIes I love to read, Best part, I was a little worried because I was unfamiliar with the area, no problems at all, we even left our car unlocked without knowing. Great bar and fun bartender, make sure you ask the price of the "Skittle" shot offered before you order one or more!!!
Customer service was horrible. I damaged by vehicle on the building because there were no signs warning me of a sharp turn. When I asked for help the staff was rude. When I asked for assistance from the manager over the phone he made excuses for his staff and refused to help with expenses to fix my vehicle.
The staff was very friendly. I was happy to be close to the beach. For the money I paid, I was very far from the airport and any sort of night life. But that was definitely not the worst. I do not like to give bad reviews, but the room was hot and musty, the mattresses were covered in plastic and worst of all, my friend got BED BUGS. Talk about being embarrassed about booking that room. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
Beautiful ,quaint ,romantic hotel on the beach. Nostalgic luxury. Our new go to vacation Resort! Bathroom could use some attention to the grout. Little mold here and there. Overall still an excellent place to stay.
Located on beach near Birch Park. Kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc available on beach for guests. Valets, check in folks, & staff in general excellent. Rooms nice with good layout and generally quiet. Maid service okay- did not clean our room one day, even tho gone during mid day for about 3.5 hours- not really a biggie as rooms well supplied except for coffee. Saw young, middle aged, older, and family's with small children- EVERYBODY looked like having a good time. Two things- one morning fire alarm system tested for about an hour. Very loud speaker- wonder why cannot check b/t check in/checkout vs mid morning. Maybe fire dept controls and hotel does not have a choice. Other thing is somewhat trivial- hotel has very limited TV channels; missed The Walking Dead:( But wife could watch Oscars on other TV. Having 2 TVs a plus, even tho channel access limited.
I'm surprised there wasn't a pay-toilet! Extra for everything.
The rooms are a bit dates but beautiful, and the location, staff and amenities more than make up for it! Nothing
I absolutely loves this place. Great location, friendly staff, amazing food. And the beds were xtremely comfortable. Parking was a bit expensive. $30/night
Our room was spacious and the view was gorgeous! The balcony off our room and on the back of the resort was great. We really enjoyed eating and having a few drinks out there. The resort's beach was very nice and the guys that worked the beach stand were very attentive. All of the staff were very friendly as well. We had a great time! The bar closes at 11:30pm, which seemed kind of earlier. We were there at close Saturday night and there was at least 30 people in there still wanting to stay at close.
I like the 24 hour self serve market- also the room was very clean and the staff brought extra pillows right away! N/A
We decided to stay 3 nights more and the hotel gave us a special discount : $15 extras !!! We never come back to this hotel !!
the free cookies, coffee, and tea throughout the day; the complimentary use of the computers for internet access; the made to order eggs for breakfast the drinks from the soda machine were rather expensive; some of the items on the hot breakfast bar need improving and should be complimentary to patrons.
The Marriott Courtyard Hotel Fort Lauderdale East was a great value for the money; I had requested via the Bookings.com app a hotel room on with a 'preferred' view and was presented with a fourth floor pool view hotel room that was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The staff was efficient and courteous and the facilities were of very high quality. The hot tub was an excellent touch to the pool area. I would definitely choose this hotel over similarly priced hotels in the area as it was a great experience. The only thing that was missing was a coffee maker in the room.
They ordered a cab to be waiting for us at 3:30am in the morning to be able to get to the airport for our flight and we were delighted that they were waiting for us early and eager to help. No security checking in the different buildings. We were kept up all night by drunks screaming and yelling up and down our hallways all night long and still going strong when we left at 3:30am. When you have two double bolts on your door and locks to get in the buildings you wonder about your security in the area.
Great, clean cozy place. Highly recommender. We will be back for any hockey travel game played an East Coast. Please keep this way. Father and 10 years Son
The room met our needs and the staff was friendly.
The hotel had everything we needed for an 8 night stay. We stayed in a studio room and had access to a full kitchen (oven, burners, microwave, full sized fridge, sink, dishes and cookware). We had a queen sized bed, couch, and a recliner, also a full bath, closet, and dresser. The pool outside was very small as was the workout room, but I didn't feel that I actually needed any of these things being so close to the beach. There was also a dvd player with the flat screen TV which both seemed very new. When the dvd player wouldn't work, someone from the staff came down and replaced it with a new one for us and so it worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed something. The only weird thing we had happen was that we found a sparkler (firework) under the mattress pad of our bed. Parking was free and convenient.
This was my first experience with the extended stay hotels and what an introduction to the franchise. The room was extremely spacious and the hotel staff was gracious and courteous. Everything was easy going and every morning the front counter attendant would say 'have a good day' as I walked out the door and 'welcome back' when I returned. The corporate office should be very proud of this location. My wife and I felt as if it were our home for the week and couldn't have been any more satisfied.
Mini kitchen very convenient. Can store food cook in the room like home
Hotel was clean and tidy, well-equipped with kitchen needs.
We stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving night and checked out on Friday. (1 day later) The hotel was OK, but I would rate customer service very poor. When we checked in at 3:00 PM, the gentleman who worked at the front desk gave us a room on the 3rd floor. We rent to the room and it had an odor of strong burnt food. We went to the front desk and the same front desk rep said the following comment: 'Every hotel room has their unique smell from all of the previous guests and you just can't get it out.' In all of the years of staying in hotel rooms, I have never heard this comment. He did agree to give us another room. But, on the way out of the hotel for shopping on Thanksgiving night, he asked if the new room had a better odor in a smug way. We will never go back to that hotel if the customer service is that way.
Good place, clean , quiet. Hard to find but not difficult to navigate.
The entire staff was very friendly. We were new in the area, so we needed directions for shops, restaurants and church. The desk clerks helped us with maps and photocopies as well as suggestions. Everyone was very accommodating. Breakfast (grab and go) was adequate, except I would like to have had some juices; orange , cranberry and apple to go along with the coffee and tea as choices of beverages. We were always greeted with a smile. They really made us feel at home and very comfortable.
This was a secret value hotel that turned out to be an Extended Stay. It was previously rated as a Deluxe suites hotel and it lived up to it's previous rating. Very nice. We didn't make use of the full kitchen other than to make coffee, but this was definitely a suite that you could live in.
No breakfast on weekends, but very convenient location & nice amenities
Stayed overnight before boarding my cruise during spring break. The place was clean and quiet. The bathroom was super clean which was a huge plus since I have a thing for bathroom cleanliness. The housekeeper brought me my jacket I left in the room before I finished loading the car. It's not a hIgh end hotel but was worth the money. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but the linens were clean. I would definitely reccomend this spot for cruisers looking for an overnight stay.
Excellent location right on the beach, awesome customer service & extremely friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be coming back again both for business and with my family for leisure time! Nothing.
Pool, easy access to beach, towel and toy rental, away from restaurant/bar strip, walking distance to cvs for essentials and alcohol, easy access to Sun Trolley and bus to get to stores, museum, downtown. Expensive, resort fee, in-house restaurants served bad food and were very expensive, no close by family friendly cheaper food options, expensive beach chair and umbrella rentals, far from grocery store and other shopping
Storm met us at the taxi and escorted in and to our room His smile and warm demeanor set the tone for our short stay. He was excellent
The location was great, was never loud in the area. Beach is right out the front door. Great food within .5 mile walk. walk down to Las Olas for food and fun. For a young couple, we still paid about 2x as much as our kayak rental. It is $40 a day to park your car, and it's only valet, it's unlimited use of your car, but then you add tips. There is a resort fee not included, which is not too expensive. And we did choose to pay $25 extra a night for a view, which was worth it. Pool food is not great, and service is slow-- but go down to Las Olas for food and fun.
The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. Excellent!
they upgraded my room! They are nice loved them
Great ocean view good location Resort hits you with lots of fees
We stayed in the hotel for our anniversary and the staff was phenomenal! They took the time to draft a hand written card and special fruit/nuts/wine for our special weekend. Thank you so much to Brenda and the rest of the Westin colleagues!!
Location was convenient. Starbucks on site, which was great. There was no communication between staff. One person told you it was okay to do something and another person said it wasn't okay. They also charge you "service" charges and don't mention that means tip so you pay tip twice unless you ask.
Judy was fantastic. Cost of drinks.
We were greeted as we got out of the car and as soon as you walk into the hotel there was fresh fruit infused water and Olympic cookies. Room was clean and big enough for our group. The pool staff was SUPERB! Our waiter, Emanuel, always made sure we were taken care of and Judy made sure we always had the best seats by the pool. The gym was well equipped and even offered cold towels and fruit. Plus there was a great view of the ocean. My group will stay here every time we are in the area! $30 a day resort fee.
Good location. Great views on beach side. I don't like being quoted a price on kayak.com paying that price and then having to pay a resort fee when I get there....especially when I don't know what my $60 resort fee got me. There were towels at the pool. Was that it? Went across the street to the beach, we swam and layed on lounge chairs under an umbrella...then a hotel staffer sats we either need to pay... $20/umbrella or $6/chair....why did I pay $60 in resort fees and I can't use a chair? No airport shuttle and outright dishonesty on pricing. I may stay there again, but I'm never paying a resort fee with no benefits again.
The service was very good. I missed having a Safe in the room. And the Lobby needed more seating.
Great room, good service,
The room was dirty, day and night it was a heavy traffic with many strange persons walking around.
Quiet, good organised, helpfull personel By late arrival no possibility for refreshment and food.
Beautiful restaurant at hotel Balcony was small
The lobby and indoor coutyard was beautiful. Gave you the feel of entering a nice 4 or 5 star facility. My FIRST room had black stuff in the tub. My SECOND room had some nasty stuff on the toilet seat. My THIRD room was a handicap room. So sink was low and toilet. Very uncomfortable. At this time..it was 1AM. So we settled. You would think they would offer some type of discount. Would have been better off at a motel.
Amazing place. Mattress could be more comfortable.
liked the pool, fitness center, and atrium. Had plenty of room to spread out. lack of cleanliness of room despite letting front desk know, some loose tiles around pool. Ripped bed sheets.
Facilities and room were good. 1. Hotel charged me a second time for a room already paid for and offered me meals as a substitute. I declined and requested a reimbursement of 2 of 3 days booked. Hotel agreed and three days later I was advised that the transaction had not started. 2. The maid did not clean the room properly. Garbage was still in the bins after cleaning. The used towels were removed, but wash cloths not replaced. 3. Maid service was very late in the day.
Good area, everything is at a walking distance, the hotel was good for the money, nice room and everything. The pool area needs to be improve (more modern), and the breakfast needs to have more variety, I was there for 5 days and had the same breakfast everyday, needs more option.
Fastest check in ever. Room smelt like a wet dog. Horrible stench.
Clean and comfortable. My room was a little worn out.
the staff was very helpful to my special needs. a little to far away if you are going to miami beach
They appeared to be doing some construction, but it was noisy and the overall facility seemed very worn in a little tired looking
Thomas was wonderful at the front desk. Since they could not find our reservation.
Every visit excellent food!
Nothing The breakfast was only juice and muffins. The TV in the room didn't work.
My friend and I were on a quickie trip this time around. As a budget travrler, I dont concern myself with luxury. This location was priced right and the beds were clean. The room itself was spacious for two individuals and overall clean. The staff was helpful (with printing my boarding pass) and all are friendly The walls are thin and could hear other guests in thier rooms but theg were being noisy. Behavior of other guests is not a reflection of the property.
Great stay in a comfy clean room
I liked the location. Although it wasn't right on the beach it was very close. Dining, shopping and even a pharmacy was all within walking distance. The room was filthy, smelled like mildew and the windows were nailed shut so we couldn't open them to air out the room. We had to buy scented candles(which I burned my entire stay) and spray the carpet with lysol to get rid of the smell. The towels were dingy and rough and the carpet was very dirty. I was afraid to sleep in the bed bcz of how dirty and smelly the room was. We could tell the place had not had a thorough cleaning or an update in a while. The shower curtain looked like it had been there for years. It was stained and dirty (gross). I was afraid to go barefoot on the carpet so I kept my flip flops(sandals) on the whole time. I even wore them in the shower. At one point I left muddy foot prints on the tile from walking in wet sandals on the carpet. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. As a matter of fact I would recommend NOT staying there.
Bed wasn't confutable. Ac wasnt good.
It was just lovely
Nice pool area on a lagoon even if there is no beach. But not necessarily a kid pool. No slide but nice lounge areas. Love that parking is so convenient and no extra cost! Friendly staff with prompt response. Good location off I-95 even though it is in a business-like park area. Large and comfortable rooms. Can't say I have anything negative.
Typically we love Westin hotels. This hotel should not be allowed to carry that name. The first issue was that the hotel was dirty. Not just our room but all of it. Elevators were slow and old. Lobey was not clean. The pool was nice but the health club was dirty. The hot tub was broken. The restarunt was way over priced for quality of food. We were very disappointed.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and we really enjoyed the pool.
Good wifi Great place near 95. The wifi is good and the staff was friendly. The king size bed was comfortable. The restaurant was nice but not crowded. The business center needs an upgrade. Overall it was very good!
The hotel was beautiful just needs a few upgrades. I lived the pool area and the decor of the hotel. The hotel was beautiful just needs a few upgrades carpets and curtains were dirty, the elevators need some visual work.
One of the easiest check-ins I have ever had.. Friendly staff and beautiful room. There was hardly any I disliked regarding my stay... Maybe more premium cable TV channels?
Very clean great valuee
The hotel was very nice. Very attractive. The staff was extremely rude.
It was clean and friendly staff It was clean and staff was friendly
offered shuttle service to the cruise port for $12 per person Very busy hotel on the weekend.
Great location, close to airport and beaches. Not a lot of frills, but a comfortable bed, decent breakfast, and the staff is awesome. Also not a bad fitness center. Even though the location is great, it's a little difficult to find so if you drive pay attention. Located next to I95 so a little loud out by the pool, but hard to notice unless a really large truck comes through.
The room was very spacious and clean. There were many amenities which would make it a great place for an even longer period. We walked to restaurants and shops. The airport service made it easy for our departure. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.
The curtains do not block light from the parking lot. They would not accept the B W rewards program.
We stayed at this Best Westin for 2 days because we missed a connecting flight to Myrtle Beach. The hotel is very close to airport with clean rooms, nice spa pool, and breakfast. The staff were all friendly and excellent hospitality.
The breakfast was great but everything else..... I had been traveling for 2 weeks and I pick this location because it had a laundry. I get there and it's broken but when I inquire at the desk they say they did not even know it was broken. They tell me to wait until morning and they will have it fix. Good for me that I did not believe them, cause it still was not fixed by 11 am the next day. So at 12 am I'm looking for a 24 hour laundromat and I ask the guy at front desk for quarters and he gives my family and I attitude. I also called to say I was going to be late to not give my room away. I get there and say sorry we gave your room away and was stuck in a smoking room. The staff then tried to blame me and said you must of booked the smoking room. I kept my cool but as someone who travels for work never again!!!! Also front lobby smells of guest that smoke pot. NO THANKS! Service is not a standard at this hotel.
Rooms were ok The earliest Shuttle to the Airport leaves at 6am. My flight was at 7am so I had to pay for an Über. It was never menationed in the website.
Conveniently located. 3.5 miles from Dania beach, nice large rooms. Room service is quite pushy if you dont let them in every day to clean your room. Breakfast ends way to early, 9 am during the week, 10 am sat and sun. Tv doesnt work well and is very touchy.
The gym and room was very nice. We don't eat pork products and that's what was served each day. They could have added turkey to the menu as well for diversity. The carpet in thefroom was very worn and the bathroom sink was clogged , the water took a very long time to go down the drain.
Free breakfast and shuttle to the airport Room smelled very musty and front desk said it was because of the humidity. I've stayed at many hotels in Florida without a musty odor in the past.
Some of the staff was pretty helpful. The continental breakfast was okay. Pretty close to Fll airport and the bus service was on time. The towels were old. The room smelled a bit moldy. We had to wait over a hour to get into our rooms. Requested some items from one of the staff and never saw him again.
the service was friendly, room exceeded my expectations was clean and big!!! as soon as i settle in my room front desk called to check everything was ok. I would say I got more that I thought for my money.
Excellent location, extremely friendly staff, nice room.
I like this hotel. The location is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The AC needs to be replaced. It is too loud and weak.
Very well furnished and spotlessly clean. Hotel sits on the beach and the room looked directly on to the immaculate beach and sea. Hotel provided towels, beds and umbrellas for the beach. No.
Staff was impressive in their willingness to assist. Facilities were remarkably clean and well kept up. Room was spacious, clean, in good repair and comfortable. The construction/rehab work on several units worked against the overall serenity of the hotel. Not much that could be done, but the balcony was pretty narrow (more than expected from the online photos).
Loved the room and price. Grill located on beach was excellent with a variety of foods.
the sight from the room over the atlantic poor and bad furnished room
Very accomodating and friendly staff....clean, quiet, right on the beach, priced right. Upgraded to a suite. Cafe/bar has not much to offer....just a tiny place, light food, no one ever there!
Why would I use offensive language? The location on the beach was fantastic. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the service was very personal and relaxed. I note that this might not suit everybody, but I liked it as I was there to relax. A little far from fort lauderdale downtown. No accurate local area map to refer to. It would have been good to have a map that showed transport and local attractions. The hotel is a little old, but that becomes part of its character after a few nights.
Great location, nice beach. Nice room with a terrasse directly too the beach. Helpful and friendly staff. The pool was a little dirty - but our kids didn´t mind.
