The concierge was helpful
The check staff were arrogant and unfriendly. We were told that if we used ANYTHING in the room, it would be charged to my credit card ... so that made for an uncomfortable stay. The fire alarm went off at 6am on a Saturday morning, rang for over 20 minutes but no apology and no compensation.

The location is amazing, there is so much nearby. We had drinks in the room and also breakfast and the breakfast was awesome. Loved the full English with sausage and beans. The sausage could have been of higher quality but the rest was great. The pastries were lovely. Would have been great to have a door to the bathroom. The stand out star rating goes to the staff - always friendly and helpful in what must be a stressful job. The place is quirky too, with the large chess pieces and giant plant pots etc.
Would have been good to have a door on the bathroom, which was quite open plan. Maybe a sliding door ? Sausages in the English breakfast were a bit average versus the rest of the amazing breakfast. Rye sourdough bread would have been a nice option for breakfast.

Staff were great! Excellent location, only a few minute walk from major sites. The lobby and room scent were delightful! The decoration was modern and tasteful. Turn-down service was nice.
Room was small.
