Pros: Nice staff, great value and an attractive country location. Excellent dining - very good salmon steak and Seafood Chowder. Room comfortable and with the right facilities.
Cons: I couldn't get the shower to heat at all - even after 15 min - bath tap heated up OK. This isn't something any guest should have to ask for. If you're visiting on business you don't usually have time to deal with facility issues.

Pros: Rooms were lovely, spacious and very comfortable. I was travelling with my 89yr old mother for a family funeral. Got 2 adjoining rooms with roomy ensuites which had hand rails etc. They were both on ground floor which was great dur to my mothers limited mobility. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in any hotel. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful.
Cons: Only downside was a misunderstanding at checkout. Also a little noise at one point at night... but it was a Saturday night and people were coming back late.
