Cons: Single pane windows will get drafty in winter.
Enjoy your visit to Mammoth Lakes with a stay at Edelweiss Lodge. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like kitchens and sofa beds, along with fireplaces and flat-screen TVs.
Timber Ridge Resort by 101 Great Escapes is a great choice for a stay in Mammoth Lakes. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Condos feature bonuses like kitchens and washers/dryers, along with fireplaces and sofa beds.
Pros: The Spacious Floor Plans, Food, Shops and Rentals in the plaza, friendly staff
Cons: Nothing. Place is perfect!
Pros: The location, accessibility and facilities were very nice.
Cons: Room was very basic, almost run down. We were visiting in the Summer and there is not Central Air conditioning in the rooms - just a window unit in one of the rooms - so the entire condo was very hot.
Pros: Beautiful, central to many attractions.
Cons: Early May is "shoulder season" so check hours and availability of sites and resturaunts before you go. We were disappointed by some closures, but had great experiences and service everywhe we went.
Pros: large one bedroom which allowed our family of 5 to stay easily. The village itself is like Whistler village with plenty of food options and games in the common areas for families to do together.
Cons: slow elevators.
The Village Lodge places guests in the center of Mammoth Lakes, just a 15-minute ride on the free hotel shuttle from Mammoth Yosemite Airport. A 5-minute stroll takes visitors to the town’s restaurants and shops, and access to the ski slopes and trails is as simple as hopping on a gondola.
Pros: Great location near gondola and valet underground parking. Great staff!!
Cons: Didn't stay long enough!
Pros: Business center was great
Surrounded by the spectacular Eastern Sierras, The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth enjoys a prime location with stunning panoramic views of the mountains. The great outdoors beckons, while the gondola and village amenities are just steps away. World-class skiing and snowboarding are just the start: Mammoth Mountain offers year-round activities that refresh the soul, from mountain biking and hiking to golf, fishing, and more. Or reenergize and relax in our hot tubs and heated outdoor pool. Enjoy rustic mountain charm combined with modern comforts and residential conveniences in our 208 guest suites. Each features a gas fireplace, kitchen or kitchenette, and plush Heavenly® Beds — and many boast breathtaking mountain views.
Pros: I loved how easy it was to book this cabin. Never have I ever stayed at a cabin with so many amenities and one that was this clean. It was pretty shocking how great the cabin was for the price we paid for and it was in a very beautiful, convenient location. My friends and I loved this cabin so much that every time we come to mammoth, this is the place we will be staying at from now on.
A great choice for a stay in Mammoth Lakes, Convict Lake Resort offers a free airport shuttle (available 24 hours). You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Cabins feature conveniences like kitchens, along with LED TVs and DVD players.
Pros: Nice spa; breakfast buffet was way better than I expected given that it is complimentary; friendly staff.
Cons: Room and beds were small, but I did stay in the lowest priced room
Pros: Was clean & convenient
Cons: Typical for a Motel, can be noisy at times.
Pros: All the Attendants were very friendly. Breakfast was fun and so was the pool table on top of the Loft. Located right near great trails and shopping. Cozy lobby area with a nice fire place to relax by. I left my computer charger chord in my room and they mailed it back to me.
Cons: Very noisy and badly insulated walls for sound as most of the older properties in Mammoth. The bathroom air vent sounded very old and when nearby rooms put theirs on it was like a washing machine on spin cycle LOUD...
At The Mammoth Creek Inn, you'll be near winter activities like downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout, and freebies like an airport shuttle and self parking mean more money for fun in the snow. Rooms offer up nice touches like down comforters and bathrobes. Ski storage is also available.
Pros: I was absolutely impressed by staff. Part of it was Kayak's new check-in process allows you to make requests, and the hotel was absolutely on point with follow-up. But even then, they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and fun. I stayed at condos for the same price, but I'd definitely go back here instead. Also, the location is perfect to the lifts.
Cons: The hotel still uses real keys instead of key cards. Easier to lose, especially on a mountain. But you may think of it as a plus.
Pros: This is an older hotel that is very nicely kept. It is clean and in good repair. The staff was nice and helpful. It is in a good location right across the street from the Village and just a few miles from the Mammoth Mountain Resort. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: We didn't like that the spa did not open until 10 am.
Pros: Excellent location, just across the street from the gondola to Canyon Lodge. Walk out of your room in your ski gear and you're good to go. Great restaurant and wine bar, free continental breakfast very convenient to grab something quick before getting on the mountain. Would definitely stay here again.
At Alpenhof Lodge, you'll be near winter activities like downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. After hanging out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at Petras Bistro, which serves Californian cuisine and is open for dinner. A bar/lounge and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms offer iPod docks and flat-screen TVs.
Cons: No AC. Dirty stained carpets. Over priced. Slow service at check in.
Cons: It was very run down and not very clean
Pros: Location and the outside was nice. The parking was good and easy
Cons: The room was dated the a/c didn't work and it had a old people smell in it. The carpet was gross my family and I don't wear shoe in the house we all wear or shoe here. We didn't even let our son sit on the floor without a towel. We are not clean freaks but when the carpet looks like the and the bathroom grout in shower is is dirty. I wouldn't stay here for that price again
Pros: Very nice location. Clean, huge rooms. Very nice bathrooms. We got a two bedroom condo for two couples and it was more than enough room. Awesome patio and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. My only complaint is that the pool and jacuzzi were pretty dirty. Very foggy water with a bunch of debris. But there are three jacuzzis so that was nice.
Cons: The pool and jacuzzis were pretty dirty. Also the jacuzzis have a horrible finish on the floor and where you sit. It was like a popcorn stucko ceiling. Very painful for a girl wearing bikini bottoms
Pros: Rooms are nice. The staff is friendly.
Cons: No A/C. Was very uncomfortable in the morning, as we had to have the windows open to keep cool, and since the windows were facing the East side, the sun starting to beat into the room at 5AM. It was very hot in the rooms in the morning. Also there was only one window to open in the living room area, and you could only open it about three inches.
I really wanted to like this place, and I felt the room had a lot of potential, there was just a lot of little improvements that needed to be made. The armchair in the living room had rips all along the arms. The chair outside was covered in a colored wax substance. A couple of the shelves were broken in the fridge. One of the kitchen drawers broke off as I was opening it. I feel like for the price I paid for this room, I would expect the resort to take a little more pride in making these minor improvements in the room.
Pros: The staff was friendly, the parking was convenient, the bell boy cart was convenient, and I loved the one bedroom. I consider myself a germaphobe, especially when staying in the High Sierra, but this place was as clean as could be!
Cons: I wish the pool was opened for at least an hour more! Maybe it was a good thing that it wasn't. Our room was also a walk from the elevator, closer to the stairs. This was only incovenient when carrying all of our stuff, the bell boy cart came in handy!
Pros: The resort is conveniently located close to the town.
Cons: Smoke from lower floors permeated our room at night. I woke several times wheezing.
Pros: Friendly staff price was right.
Cons: We didn't get a room with good view :(
Pros: Large comfortable room, kitchen, quiet
Cons: The keys didn't work properly, I had a staff member show me the "trick" to opening the door. I feel that for the rate, a few repairs were in order. I don't think I would stay there again.
Located slope side 45 minutes from the Eastern Entrance of Yosemite National Park lies Juniper Springs Resort. Juniper Springs connects the town bike path to the Juniper Mountain bike trail. We are currently not Ski-in/Ski-out
Pros: We stayed here (4 backpackers) the night before going out on a four day backpacking trip. The price for a single Saturday night was reasonable and only $10 to add additional guests, which was great. They even through in warm breakfast for us all, yum! They have an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi too. It's not fancy but was clean and the staff were friendly/professional.
Cons: There could be more covered parking. There is only one parking voucher supplied per room but there isn't much they can do about that with the limited space. It would be nice to see a gate around the parking lot to prevent bear break-ins as well... Only seems logical and more secure too.
Pros: Friendly staff, indoor hot tub, clean
Cons: Free breakfast is a nice feature but needs more variety. The door key reader going to the side parking lot doesn't work when the temperature is colder; the staff knows this but a permanent fix hasn't been made.

Pros: I chose this motel because all the other condos I wanted to reserve were booked near the Village Mountain Center. It is walking distance, only about two blocks to the Center. We were given a room on the second level. There are no elevators of course so we had to lug our heavy bags up stairs. Was prepared for that. This is not a fancy hotel so the doors to the rooms are accessible to anyone. The bathroom appeared updated except for the sink that had grey cracks but still functional. Lots of electrical outlets. Arm chair was uncomfortable, worn in padded seat cushion. Has a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room. Continental breakfast, coffee and tea served in the common area next to the office in the mornings. Jacuzzi is tiny but at least they have one that works. Very steep hill that leads into their parking lot that was icy causing vehicles to slide-exit is less steep, which is around the connecting complex next door.
At Holiday Haus Motel, you'll be near winter activities like downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and there's more money for fun in the snow with free perks like WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 9:30 AM. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Good location. Nice clean rooms with nice linens and towels. Clean.
Cons: Parking is crowded.
Pros: We got a great rate. We had a room with two queens and it was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect with amenities and activities for the whole family within close proximity.
Pros: I liked it was close to everything. Had restaurants attached to the facility. The staff were excellent, gave extra blankets, towels etc. Nice shower with unlimited hot water!
Cons: Hallways had a little wet dank smell.
Pros: Like everything, rooms spacious and well maintained.
Pros: The room was nice, comfey bed, nice bathroom, staff was nice.
Cons: Way too over priced for what it is. It's not a Westin. Far from main lodge.
Pros: I loved the décor, very retro 50's but warm and cozy. The lobby was warm and inviting with a fire place, plenty of space for families to hang out, with board games, chess and a pool table. They have a spa with sauna and steam room, fitness area. Rooms have all the amenities you need to feel like your at an Embassy Suite but the décor is one of a kind!
Cons: Check -in was disorganized, the front desk person was not empathic of the stress that creates. The manager/owner was on it and took care of our stress that there was an hour wait for our room.
Maid service is disorganized, takes them all day to get to your room, one day our room was not cleaned, because we were in and out of it more than usual.
The Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa located in Mammoth Lakes California under the views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range offers some of the most amenities of any hotel in Mammoth Lakes. Luxurious Fireplace Suites feature heated bathroom foors, heated toilet seats, large tubs, waterfall showers, air conditioning, kitchenettes, gas fireplaces, leather lounge chairs, and more luxuries than any room in town. Family-sized Three Bedroom Chalets offer all the comforts of home for groups of 8-10. Deluxe.
Pros: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, location is great, near ski resort and stores, plus the breakfast was included and pretty good.
Pros: Staff were great
Pros: great location and value
Cons: hot tub opens at 3pm
Pros: Not much good about it. I guess the bed linens even though mine was stained and ripped seemed to be clean.
Cons: Walls were so thin you could here EVERYTHING on both sides and hallway. Musty smell. No air conditioner or elevator. Additional hidden charges after arrival. Not worth the price.
Pros: The front desk was polite and helpful and the location was close to restaurants. There was a small kitchenette with paper towels and some plates. The breakfast room was lovely.
Cons: The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything around you. The toilet flush upstairs was very loud and the outer door slam was also loud. The room had a damp odor.
Pros: Wonderful staff. Very helpful and kind. Clean bedrooms. Kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave in bedroom. New TVs. Bathroom has large vanity outside of it. Eco-friendly & organic soap (Ginger Tea w/ Oats... freakin nice) wasn't a bad touch. More than enough towels. Warm. All you need after a long day on the slopes. SUPER CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO WALK TO OLD MAMMOTH ROAD AND BLACK VELVET COFFEE (Best coffee in town!).
Cons: I thought it could be updated – but a remodel is a large undertaking, so no complaints here.
Shower faucets could be higher – don't fit anyone over 6' tall.
Pros: Location and covered parking
Cons: Wifi and cable tv was down for most of the time there
Pros: Staff goes out of their way to be welcoming and accommodating.
Very generous continental breakfast.
Nice lounge with fireplace.
Underground or sheltered parking.
Nice little kitchenette area (micro and fridge).
Highly recommend as a economical or value-for-money choice.
Pros: nice size room, good bathrooms/shower, continental breakfast was good altho choices limited there was fresh fruit, temperature control was good
Cons: noisy hallways....doors slammed all night when closed from people going in and out from rooms

Conveniences like kitchenettes are in all rooms, along with deep soaking tubs and premium bedding. Ski storage is also available.
Pros: The staff was very hospitable; the lodge-feel; continental breakfast was good. Great location at the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski center; right on Twin Lakes; set at 8,300ft. All beautiful!
Cons: The walls were thin... the piano man was playing both evenings and felt like he was right in the room with us. Had to leave our room to use the community bathroom; Had to borrow a TV/DVD player from the front desk, not pre-stocked in rooms.
Tamarack Lodge Resort allows you more time for skiing with ski-in/ski-out access. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out The Lakefront, which serves lunch and dinner. A free airport shuttle and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer iPod docks and free WiFi. Skiers will appreciate the free ski shuttle, along with access to ski passes.
Cons: Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable; gym was limited
Pros: Good location. Nice common areas.
Cons: Pretty no frills room. But it was a ski trip so I was on the slopes, not in the room. Did the job fine.
Cons: Staff was very rude. Asked what incidentals they were holding money for and the desk had no answers. Another attendant then chimed in and said it was in case I damaged something. That would be an incident, not an incidental I told him. The both said whatever and threw my credit card at me. Won't be back. Hot tub is very big but smells of sulpher.
Pros: Staff very nice and helpful.
Cons: They advertised a bar and restaurant but the bar was closed while we we there and the he only restaurant open wasn't very good.

An outdoor pool and a nightclub are other highlights, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and down comforters. Skiers will appreciate access to ski rentals.
Pros: After booking somehow the condominium got over booked but Vicky over at the Mammoth Bureau took care of mi situation right away she sent 3 upgraded selections and the inconvenience was professionally dealt. The new place was so comfortable and beautiful.
Cons: The condominium was gorgeous. The rooms were nice and big the only inconvenience was that the master bedroom didn't have a dresser the only furniture to put our clothes was 2 night stand , the closet was full of clothes and had a lock chest.
Enjoy your visit to Mammoth Lakes with a stay at Val d'Isere by Mammoth Reservation Bureau. Guests can splash around at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Condos feature bonuses like kitchens and sofa beds, along with fireplaces and balconies.
Cons: Water in bathroom didn't respond to the temperature setting selected, both in shower and in sink. Often couldn't get cold water in sink. Water pressure was very low in shower.
Pros: Great place. Easy access to room. Quiet. The staff was excellent.
Pros: Loved everything!!! People are also very courteous.
Austria Hof Lodge allows you more time for skiing with ski-in/ski-out access. After relaxing in the spa tub, guests can grab a bite to eat at Austria Hof, which serves dinner. There's a bar/lounge, and rooms offer LCD TVs and room service. Ski storage is also available.
Enjoy your visit to Mammoth Lakes with a stay at The Summit Condominiums. Guests can get a morning swim in at the seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. There's also a health club, and condos offer DVD players and refrigerators.
Pros: Desk staff and restaurant staff were accommodating
Cons: In the annex on the first floor, you can hear every footstep of people in the rooms above.
Rooms were stuffy. No AC and opening the window was not enough.
Cons: No A/C! Very noisy - music was playing outside the ENTIRE night. Old. Not very comfortable, although the staff was nice.
Pros: I love the closeness to the lifts and the ski school. This is THE place to stay if you have kids. Our room was near the hot tub & warm pool area. The lobby and bar area were perfect ski lodge style ( high ceilings, antler chandeliers, stone work). Free DVD rental for a quiet night in your room after skiing all day. Magnificent views!
Cons: Older, limited food choices.
Pros: The location was great! It was right in front of the lift. The hotel also seemed really clean. It was also near the lodge and a restaurant.
Cons: There weren't enough covered parking spaces and it snowed heavily. We also had to walk from the covered parking to the hotel in the snow with our suitcase because there wasn't a covered walkway.
Pros: Location was awesome! Being able to walk a few steps from your room to the ski lifts was amazing. Other then being on the older side, it's a great place. The staff was great and we enjoyed all the restaurants/bars the hotel has to offer.
Cons: My biggest complaint is that the hotel does not offer a in room safe for personal belongings. It wouldn't have been a big deal but we were on the first floor and our window did not lock. Making it possible to be opened from the outside. We didn't have any issues but it was a bit alarming while we were out on the slopes all day.
Pros: Location, rooms were very clean, proximity to slopes
Cons: Parking. If you leave at night to go around town then good luck later on to find a parking spot in the garage. Fees and taxes were excessive
Pros: Best location to stay.
Closest to the lifts.
Cons: The room and the elevator are a bit small.
Pros: Very close to the main lodge, dog friendly, sound proof walls could not hear other pets. Cleaning staff is very nice.
Cons: Not nearly enough garage parking (there really should be more garage space for the amount of rooms in that one area), staff was asleep/ M.I.A. and we waited to check in for 20+ minutes after an 8-hour drive yelling, "hellooooo, anyone there?" Front desk could use a lot of customer service improvement. Very small rooms with VERY drafty, old windows. Would have paid more for a nicer room if we had known.
Pros: Loved the place, will come back again.
Cons: They should be called the mammoth mountain motel.
Cons: Hair in the tub. When booked the hotel cost was $130, by the time extra fees and expenses were added it was $200. Booked a superior room with mountain view which actually had a view of the roof of another building. False advertising.
Pros: I actually didn't realize that I booked the room through Hotels.com since I was using Kayak.com. Anyways, long story short I had to switch my reservation and Heidi at the front desk was the best and very accommodating! Room was clean and comfortable.
With ski-in/ski-out access, Mammoth Mountain Inn allows you more time for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage, rentals, and lessons.
