Reception staff were amazing.
The room I was in smelt of feet, the door wouldnt close.
The location was amazing right in the northern quarter and a short walk away from heaps of pubs. Also only a 10 minute walk away from Piccadilly Station. The staff were friendly and very helpful. To be fair you get what you pay for and it was a warm place to sleep.
Everything kind of looked dirty. The bathrooms were actually filthy and the showers barely worked. The beds were placed very inconveniently and there was only one semi accessible power outlet In the room for 10 people. Also there was no curtains or anything so privacy was minimal. There were no Male bathrooms on my floor so if i wanted a toilet or a shower I had to go up or down a floor. Half of the power outlets in the public room didn't work which wasn't ideal. Just generally it wasn't a particularly nice place to stay, but it was cheap so.
Not a thing!
Arrived approx 12.00 for 1 night (booked as had an early flight the nxt morning) - staff told me check in was 14.00, but I could use the luggage hold (this consisted of a swipe card sitting on the desk for anyone to take/use). I returned to check in - advised by staff no lift was on third floor - with 30kg of luggage!! Staff also advised water was 'not worth showering on my floor' to go down to lower floor to use! Yeah that's ideal love to walk corridoors/stairs in towel as nowhere to safely store belongings! Arrived to room & realised I would not be staying: bed frame bent out of shape, mould and holes in walls, ceilings, window frames. No lockers in room, minimum lockers in hallway all either in use or with bent broken off doors. Went to check out the kitchen facilities all locked although staff had informed me they were open. Booked as seemed like a reasonable place for one night, however felt unsafe, unclean and uncomfortable - save yourself the time hassle and money and spend extra and book elsewhere.
Clean bedding warm and quite comfortable
