Pros: We liked everything
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room warm and comfortable. Fresh fruit (not tinned) at breakfast was lovely. Cooked breakfast freshly made. Parking available.
Cons: Nothing
1.0 Poor
Pros: Literally nothing. This was an absolute nightmare. A very basic hotel with limited facilities and absolutely no concern for the welfare of its guests.
Cons: Dishonest, miserly owners who tell lies. They do not care that we had to call the Gardai/Police at 4am because the (drunk?) night porter was too busy serving a full bar to deal with a group of 20+ youngsters partying all over the hotel, verbally abusing and physically threatening other guests. Cold showers. Horrible dry breakfast. Even if we hadn't had this traumatic experience they are charging way too much for very limited facilities and quite shabby accommodation. Their main selling point - anything goes so long as there's cash going in the till.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice enough place to lay a weary head. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The cooked breakfast is on the small side with some expected items listed as an extra charge (beans , mushrooms).
