Pros: Restuarant open on Sunday and the Decore of the Restuarant inside, realy wish they had spent that much effort with the Chalet rooms Restuarant Food in the Evening was very quirkey and so nice to see someone was thinking outside of the Box The Terrace overlooking the Pond and the Valley, with an option to Dine out if you wished. Staff and Proprietor were very friendly, good command of English and so no misunderstanding or was there, see below
Cons: What totaly peeved me off was that after organising prior to arrival and again on the day of arrival with the Patron a Celebration Gateaux for my Wife's 60th Birthday they brought out a pityfull Teensie Weensie one bite cake with a single candle, I felt so embarrased, it was as if that was the best I could organise for her Big 60, not impressed! and I felt very insulted! No Milk or biscuits for our Tea in the room and No Coffee on our 1st Day, No Fan in the Room, No Handle on the Shower Door, Warm Water for our 1st Night's Shower [arrived at 6:30pm] and a BIG NO NO for being Charged for our Tiny Dog to Sleep on the Floor in our Chalet. The term "May Charge for a Dog" is just so misleading, especially if they always do charge # To sum up I would say that the marketing ploy here is to fill their Chalets by offering cheap rooms and then to make the Business Work around the fact that people need to eat and drink, a water in our room was priced at 3euro and the restuarant pricing is based upon this model. Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Pros: We were upgraded to a larger room because the hotel wasn’t full, which was a good start. Nicely decorated, comfortable room with tea and coffee. Stunningly good dinner, with local produce. Good breakfast, too. Friendly staff. Lovely countryside around and the animals were fun to look at.
Cons: The bathroom was quite cosy - didn’t bother us, but it might some.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. The room has a stunning view on the valley, the bed is one of the most comfortable bed we slept in. The room is very spacious with nice design elements and extremely clean. We had airco which was absolutely necessary this particular weekend in France. We went biking and Maurice, the owner, gave us great road recommendations. Edith, his wife is a brilliant cook, amongst being really friendly and was also great in giving us restaurant and winery recommendations. Ideal for a long weekend.
Cons: This will sound lame but cannot think of one thing that wasn’t up or beyond our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about this property - our room was huge, sat high up on the hill with stunning views of the valley, other hills and sunsets, spacious bathroom with large walk in shower, 2 sinks and lots of storage space. The toilet had its own room with sink. The room had a long couch, chair, table & nice stools and the most comfortable king bed ever! The breakfasts were fabulous - fresh breads, pastries, orange juice, homemade apple juice, coffee, meats, cheeses, yogurt and creamy butter. The hosts were very helpful (recommended hikes, restaurants, vineyards, etc.) and were just such friendly, genuinely nice people. We did not want to leave after 3 nights. Highly recommend this place (short drive to all the wine trail towns with no parking issues) and we will definitely stay here again if in the area!
Cons: Nothing; everything was perfect!

Pros: This is such a cozy hotel in the Vosges area. The rooms are elegantly decorated with French style. Host Anaelle and her mum provided good information for sightseeing and trekking to Lac Tuites, Lac Blanc & Lac Noir. Really wanna go ski in winter time. We also love the breakfast that Anaelle’s mum cooked for all guests. Simple but high quality.
Cons: They photo of hotel building posted on booking.com is not right! The really building are much better than the photo. Please change!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, quiet place up the hill from Kaysersberg. We were simply passing through on our way from Germany to Paris, and it was an ideal location. We arrived after hours but the hosts sent us a text with instructions to let ourselves in. There was nowhere to eat that was open when we arrived (@ 7 pm) so we drove down to Kaysersberg (15 min. away) where there are many excellent restaurants.
Cons: The location is a bit remote, but quiet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great family run hotel. Food was fantastic as the owner is a professional chef and for a four course meal very reasonable. Amazing view from balcony across a beautiful valley. Owners and staff were very helpful. Colmar has a mainline train which gets to Strasbourg in 35 mins. The towns and villages in the area are all spectacular - all the buildings are centuries old and beautifully preserved. Local food and wine is delicious. Overall a really enjoyable stay and would definitely go back.
Cons: Very little but to be really picky: There was no fridge in the room or a kettle to make tea. The hotel is run on a tight budget and we could use their fridge so these were not a problem for us. The location is beautiful but it is a bit of a drive to Colmar or Munster, the nearest towns - about 15 minutes. The drive down through the forests was lovely so again not a problem for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, wonderful/friendly staff and delicious food... perfect!
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The setting is great, perched on the steep valley side, with a wonderful view over towards Munster. It's possible to walk from the hotel up a mountain path at the back and straight into lovely mountain flowers. Quiet at night, and parking. Friendly and efficient team in charge. The food is very good. Our room was double aspect and very airy and cool on a hot day.
Cons: The internet service is not quite up to our teenagers' high standards.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly
Cons: WiFi not connecting everywhere
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I had booked their combo which included breakfast and dinner. On sunday I had an early race and they made sure I could have breakfast at 6:30. Very, very much appreciated! While I couldn't choose dinner, the food was excellent and delicious. The room was nice and the view was absolutely stunning! See photo.
Cons: I had a room all the way on the 4th floor. Elevator didn't go there. They offered me a room on the 1st floor, but I didn't feel like moving all my stuff. So, it's basically my own decision I ended up on the fourth.
7.9 Good
Pros: Dinner was very good . The view over the Munster-valley is very nice.
Cons: Dinner at 19.00 o'clock but the first bit arrived at 19.50 o'clock. Breakfast began at 8.00 o'clock, that's very late.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with lovely views, excellent service, delicious evening meals and good choice of breakfasts.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: a very nice mountain hotel with great view, excellent food in half board. Huge room.

Cons: After hiking, I was starving and eagerly waited Alsatian sized portions, but left a bit hungry, because the restaurant was Italian with antipasti and a quite small lasagne. (:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Nice staff, very comfortable bed and clean rooms! The food was very tasty and the breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The man who we interacted with most was beyond fantastic and welcoming. We arrived too late for dinner but we asked for a cheese plate and he (and the kitchen) was so very accommodating. I expected a few pieces of cheese but he brought us an extravagant plate of cheese and meat and a beautiful artichoke. Breakfast was very good - sort of a cross between a German breakfast and a French one. Very good and plentiful. The room had great water pressure and hot water. The room was clean and without flaws. We were to the front of the building and the view was very nice.
Cons: I can't think of any negatives.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They speak French, Italian and German so communication is easy. The restaurant is excellent and the breakfasts superb.
Cons: Could have stayed longer!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, but 10 euros is a little steep. Extremely pleasant staff, and they let us use the garage to put the motorbikes locked away overnight.
Cons: Slightly cheaper breakfast, but I am splitting hairs here. The rooms are not super quiet and the bed was nicely firm, but kind of tilted to the centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is what you imagine an European guest house would be. Delightful, beautifully decorated, four star dinner ,rooms excellent and the owner and staff were attentive and friendly. My family and I were thrilled with the stay. Thankyou for a life memory.
Cons: Absolutely nothing

7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly, the Pool area is very nice and the water temperature is at a good level. Breakfast was good although expensive. The park behind the hotel is beautiful.
Cons: For the price, I would have expected a better quality or at least that the breakfast were included. 20€ per pet per night is extremely high considering they only accept small pets. The food in the restaurant was good, but not worth the price. The room was also a bit cold.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, friendly. Good bar and great restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Swimming pool was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great hotel good value for money
7.9 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was perfect. The staff was really kind, warm and helpful. the room was small but very nice. the breakfast was great. we went there to go to Christmas market nearby and we found the hotel in a great position for that. we will definetly try to get back there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good especially the orange juice which you squeezed yourself through a machine using fresh oranges.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were super soft. The owner was lovely and could not have been friendlier. There was a restaurant within walking distance which was good but you need to make a reservation. In Orbay there were several restaurants and we went to one which had a motelattatched and the food was sublime! The service was incredibly slow but the food was worth the wait. At our hotel the breakfast was very good only lacking fruit and cereal. However it was fresh produce and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a bonus. It was quiet at the hotel and I had the best nights sleep of the holiday.
Cons: The decor could do with an update but I am sure that the manager is aware of that. It did not detract from our enjoyment though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Traditional Hotel lovely to see the ‘old things’ still in use. Staff were very friendly and food is all sourced from the local town
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for hiking trips. The owers are super nice. The hotel is visibly old, but everything is clean and comfortable, it is obvious the owners really care and do their best. Very tasty breakfast consisting of local food. Spacious parking space behind the house and possibility to leave your bikes in locked garage.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel is good from the first moment you arrive. The owner/manager is very friendly and helpful and that attitude continues through the rest of the staff. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast and dinner are excellent, and it's in a good location.
Cons: Not much I can say here
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room in new section away from main road. Friendly welcome from host. Good facilities and parking for motorcycles. Breakfast delicious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful welcoming family style. Beautiful grounds. Lovely facilities. Nothing was a problem for the staff. Food was amazing. The best accommodation so far on a long trip in France.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in one of the modern rooms in a building overlooking the gardens, so this review does not necessarily apply to the original part of the hotel. Our room was very large, modern, clean and with a terrace. Totally relaxing after a drive from Genoa. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is good, breakfast is good. The location fits the description of beautiful. The grounds and garden are well maintained.
Cons: No coffee or tea facility in room. This was the second time in 5 weeks that we stayed at hotels in Vosges Mountains, neither had coffee or tea in the rooms so this may be a characteristic of the hotels in this area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I can honestly report that this hotel is absolutely fantastic in all respects. We did not use the swimming pool but from our inspection it looked extremely inviting. We simply did not have the time. All staff were very hospitable and catered to our every need instantly. Well Done to you all.
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, great restaurant and good for families.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice people nice place quiet, nice atmosphere and garden in the back with new building , quite nice
7.9 Good
Pros: The property is very nice, the breakfast is good, staff is friendly. The wine from their own yard is very tasty, especially the Pinot Gris and the Gewürztraminer.
Cons: There were heavy and loud road works during the night in front of the hotel. I do not complain about the works itself, because the hotel owner/staff can't do anything about it, but the hotel could have offered some incentives (e.g. free breakfast, bottle of wine, etc.) because of the noise at night. The restaurant is OK, but not very inspiring. We had the menu for 35 Euro, 4 courses, the first one was "Greetings from the kitchen", which was a bread with Salami (which was good, but I expect a little more for a fine French restaurant and usually this doesn't count as a course). The duck as the main course was a bit dry, the sauce was not really tasty. Overall was the price for the diner too high in comparison to the quality.
6.3 Good
Pros: Interesting old, refurbished building. Staff is nice and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was delusional: croissants, pain au chocolat and the local cake were clearly from 1 or 2 days before: super, super dry. Not one or two, but all of them!
7.3 Good
Pros: A family run hotel , one person nicer and friendlier than the other. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet very nice. The room was surprisingly comfortable with a bathrobe laid out on the bed !!! What a nice touch. They have ample parking. It is furnished so cute and cozy with a little reading area on the 1st floor with a couch and comfortable chairs. A beautiful garden in the back .. you couldn't ask for more.
Cons: Everything was great but they could use a new mattress on the bed I slept on.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very nice restaurant with excellent food and friendly service
Cons: No special parking for motorcycles
6.4 Good
Pros: When we were there the hotel was peaceful and it was lovely to sit outside in their `grounds` with a glass of wine after unpacking.
7.6 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly; the room was clean and comfortable; the use of a heated swimming pool was a great bonus. Breakfast was a good selection of food and the fixed-menu dinner was superb. We will stay there again when in the area.
5.2 Okay
Pros: Food good, staff friendly and helpful; comfortable bed; free WiFi
Cons: Noisy road at front - would have been a problem if weather hot as no aircon. Pool very small and very hot! Capsule shower room barely adequate; room clean but not very well appointed and bare with no pictures.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff. Fitness center and indoor pool available. Plenty of free parking on site. Room has two sinks in the bathroom.
Cons: Facilities were dated and basic in design and amenities, but offer overall comfort. The hotel is located next to a creek which makes quite a bit of noise. Also the fitness center has limited and very old equipment, but it is one of the few places in the area that even offer it. The bathroom is split into a toilet in the entryway and a shower and two sinks in a bathroom located in the room. It’s a non-standard of a setup. For the price, it should include breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Did not take breakfast. Situated in a small town with good facilities. Comfortable room and helpful staff. Swimming pool on site.
Cons: Internet was unavailable at the time because of a storm.
4.2 Okay
Pros: small hotel but have swimingpool

7.5 Good
Pros: we booked a room for 2 families/couples next to each other, but the lady at the reception first gave us two rooms on different Floors (or not next to each other). when we asked to change, she gave us two rooms next to each other. the rooms are nice decorated, new paint, very clean. bed was comfortable. they provided a extra bed for the small child (1,5 years).
Cons: the double bed in one of the rooms was very small. the view from the room was not nice (backward of the house), so if you want a nice view, you have to book a room which looks in the Beautiful valley (front side of the hotel) the flush of the toilet was very loud and we also heard the flush of toilet of an other guest (neighbour room). we heard noises from upstairs, the whole hotel is quite old and the walls are thin, so you hear everything which is going on in the next room and on the Floor of the hotel. so this was not very convienient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant hotel in lovely location, very helpful and friendly staff and an excellent restaurant.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent

Huge room.

7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly, the Pool area is very nice and the water temperature is at a good level.

6.7 Good
Pros: The staff very nice
Cons: The shower cabin is too little and not so clean, after a shower the bathroom was inundated, and the toilet cover was broken and old The rooms and bathrooms are too old, it is time to renovate this hotel, very old curtains Not very warm inside the room
