Pros (+) The location was nice for the price. Able to quickly get anywhere in Newport News. We did stay there most of the stay, but I will not use this hotel again.
Cons (-) The whole place smelled like cigarettes. Ours was a non-smoking room and after running the A/C all day, didn't smell. But the hallways, elevator, and lobby all smelled like smoke. The room was very small, but usable. The bathrooms were not up to *my standard* of clean.

Pros (+) Check in was easy and courteous. The room was clean enough for a short overnight stay. The beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) The hotel was very noisy. People roaming and slamming doors well into the night. My friend stopped in town on her way up north so we were up until at least 2am and there were still children running up and down the hall. The complementary breakfast was almost non existant. I had to stop on my way to work to get something to eat.
