Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent central location, making it convenient for trains, ferries, and exploring the town. The staff received high marks for being friendly and helpful, contributing positively to guests' experiences. Breakfast was frequently described as good or excellent, with a nice variety and quality. Cleanliness was generally appreciated, with several mentions of spotless rooms and bathrooms. However, many reviews noted that the hotel is dated, with worn carpets, tired decor, and some maintenance issues, especially in bathrooms and furnishings.
