Well located within the city. Comfortable clean rooms. Well appointed public areas. Attentive staff that are ery obliging. Good food but over priced. Have room service available later than 11pm.
Everything, nothing to say
Very spacious, original and tidy rooms. And that's not even the best: the food in the restaurant is exceptionally good.
Nice large rooms Wi-Fi connection only in the lobby and 4 & 5 floor. Other floors only ISDN connection but hotel does not provide with connecting cable so no internet in some rooms if you don't have your own cable. That is not good if you need to work. This is 4* hotel I would expect they provide better service with internet.
Easy access, good breakfast and helpful staff
The wholen hotel's ambience and efficicncy
Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice rooms. Good location.
We had a great experiance, the hotel is the the best in Osnabruck.
Close to centre of town, good size rooms, excellent choice at breakfast
It was so easy to use with my wheelchair. The restaurant was excellent. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful
The staff where very nice and cared about making people feel at home. The food was very good at breakfast, and dinner. No
A great place to stay in Osnabruck!
The location is perfect. It is in the old town city center. Next door is one of the top restaurants in Germany "la vie". This alone is worth the stay. The hotel is charming, and the staff wonderful. We look forward to returning.
the location and the ambiente. no cpomplaints what so ever.
Easy access to city centre and unprompted provision of an extra single bed for child. Excellent breakfast. Lack of tea-making facilities. Walls outside bedroom window being repainted at 7am!
the location was fantastic, the hotel beautiful and the most comfortable bed ive slept in xxx cant say theres anything bad but could do with tea and coffee facilities in the rooms
Nice staff, nice accomodation. Complete. Nice breakfast
Enjoyed the excellent care of the staff - very helpful! The hotel has a lovely ambience.
very clean hotel excellent staff. I will come back if I visit Osnabruck again and Iike the location.
The location close to the centre and market place just ouside the hotel. Good parking. One of hhe hotel receptionist could improve in English.
The hotel was in a good location for us as we needed to catch an early morning train, it was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly, it was also only a 10 minute walk to the 'old town' Would have been really pleased if it had air conditioning.
As an overnighter great location and pleasant hotel and excellent location to train station No
The location is perfect if you are travelling by train - just 2 minutes walk across the square to the main railway station. Much quieter that you might expect for a hotel beside 2 railway lines and in the middle of a city, but not quiet.
We have stayed many times at the Advena and the staff are pleasant and courteous. There appears to have been a nightclub opened near the hotel and the noise is unacceptable, the hotel gave us room directly onto this and were reluctant to change our rooms at first, stating that it was a city hotel - this is not an excuse and we have never experienced these noise levels from 11pm - 5am.
Excellent choice of food at breakfast.
Friendly staff and cleaniness of hotel
Free internet use, helpfullness of staff. No
How close it was to everything in the town
The location close to rail station, good restaurant, internet access
Good hotel for one or two days city trip. Single room very small for comfort
Well situated in the center of the city and close to the shopping area. Quite good breakfast. First the beds were awfull, unconfortable and "noisy", impossible to turn or move without a creaky noise. The furniture is also very very simple, and minimalistic. People at the desk were nice, but unable to give any usefull information.
Clean and freindly Dog barking in the morning
Excellent breakfast buffet Room so small
The hotel is located fairly cenrally in the old town and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Location, ease of access, car parking, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms and excellent breakfasts.
Hotel was in an excellant position for touring the city. The staff and accomodation was perfect. nothing it was just perfect for our needs
Perfect location, awesome breakfast, big rooms, bathtub Wireless internet way too expensive
Excellent breakfast and convenient location room view
Good location, easy hotel to stay, clean
Size of room, a sofa, en-suite bathroom and double glazing. Car parking and location of hotel were excellent. A very limited restaurant menu.
No air conditioning in the room
The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room and its furnishings
They were friendly... The location was in the middle of nowhere. I prefer to stay Town Centre where there is choice of restaurants, etc.
The connected restaurant is excellent, free parking available.
One of the best in the town considering the town is very small and you have not many option anyway...
Location, room overlooking busy and noisy road
The room was lovely and very large. At breakfast there was a huge selection of hot and cold food to choose from, all very well presented. There were very few toiletries in the bathroom, a liquid soap container at sink and a container with shower cream inside the shower cubicle, but perhaps this is normal for hotels in Germany.
The warm water was turning cold all the time!
Location only interesting for travelling through. Notso great atmosphere. Take the luxury rooms, they are clean and good. The small rooms are terrible.
I felt that the inclusion of a fridge and hot drinks facility was lacking and needed inclusion for a 3 star hotel in Europe Lack of the above
The room was very clean and large enogh for me and my wife also the bathroom was very clean the heat was workink breakfast was good No
booked a double room got a twin
Perfectly nice ordinary family-run hotel a few minutes drive from the station in new part of the town; rooms old fashioned but spacious and clean. Restaurant alongside. Good value for money. Pizzeria opposite. Quiet overnight, traffic by day. Quite a long walk from the historic centre of Osnabruck.
Very confortable hotel, I will surly be back
Breakfast The hotel reception at night is awful (they do not know English). The internet issue is impressing. An hotel without wireless internet for free!!!!!
Uncomplicated No tea making facilities in room
The Westermann hotel was convenient for our visit to the Dom in Osnabruck. There was free parking in a private lot. The included breakfast was adequate. The walk was a mile or so but an easy one. No Problems.
Friendly and helpfull staff N.A
A good breakfast was provided. Staff were friendly though most did not speak English. Very comfortable duvet on bed. Price was very reasonable. Pillow was flat. Elevator and corridors smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Hotel was very old. Hotel location was very far from the university.
Very very friendly welcome, great room and balcony. Great location, one minute walk to the venue we had to be and great shopping in neighborhood
Friendly staff Very tired accommodation but the purpose of our visit was to visit some German friends so we didn't actually spend much time there so it wasn't essential to have luxury; decor was dark and bit dismal. Although breakfast was included in the price it was not very appetising.
Very well located, walking distance to the city center, well garnished breakfast Small car park
Friendliness of staff, free wireless net, breakfast. Hotel has an antique design, but antique is not equal to old dirty furniture and curtains. Matrace in bed could be harder. Streetnoise or train noise this is your choice here. Otherwise good hotel.
Clean, friendly and helpfull Not easy accesable by public transport
the staff was friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, free wlan and the hotel is close to the city.
The room was quite quaint. The bathroom was brandnew! Excellent breakfast buffet! The food was great but the service at breakfast was not satisfactory.
Breakfast is great, friendly staff, close to the city WLAN existsand free but bandwith is small between 8.a.m.-10 p.m.
Rooms are nice, the receptionist was very helpful and very accommodating. WiFi doesn't work in every room, we had to sit in the hallway in order to get signal.
Nice room for the price. The dining area is only opened for breakfast - We wanted to play cards in it one evening and were told we couldn't...Shame to see all those perfectly good tables sitting unused and us with no place to play our game.
Could not check in with Visa credit card. Only ONE TINY PIECE OF SOAP for two people. I understand budget, but that is extreme. John and Carole Ruby, Aurora IL USA
Excellent family run hotel, very helpful
the overall value for money creditcards were not accepted. however with these prices I can imagine why
The Staff was cooperative. Location is not very close to Railway station, thought not far away, We had to wait for 40/45 minutes outside the hotel till the owner came and opened. The telephone was ringing, ringing but with no answer.
Not much really. The breakfast was nice. Rooms were shabby, shower was cold on arrival and on one morning. This hotel would be better described as a backpacker Hostel, the price was far too high for the quality offered. The Ibis in the same town was almost the same price. I would not return.
Staff were very friendly. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Not all that close to the centre of town but we had a car so not a big problem.
good breakfast, cooperative staff
staff very hardworking - breakfast was cheap food - location not very nice- room dull and in need of makeover!
Affordable basic room with free curbside parking. Free, but unreliable, wifi. Great place for smokers. Despite requesting and receiving a non-smoking room, everywhere was smoky. The hotel was closed and locked when I arrived. Luckily, a friendly and helpful lady answer the phone number.
The manager and his family made us feel so welcome. If back over would stay there again.
Very noisey from 6am to8am in the morning
Excellent breakfast Room 23 - window right next to the bed has lace curtain, spot light on the hotel sign comes through. Room has an assortment of old furnishing, inadequate heating for winter
Friendly Engish Speaking staff
Free buffet breakfast good and generous The room we had booked (higher class twin with en suite) was not available "due to a broken bed". We were offered the choice of either a double with en suite or a larger twin without en suite, and took the latter. So we were sharing a toilet and shower room with another four (approx) rooms. This was ok for 2 nights, but would have been a real pain for a longer stay. Car parking is on the street, but it was always possible to find a spot fairly close to the hotel.
Excellent breakfast! Really good selection and a great start to the day. Definitely the highlight of our stay. Musty smell in 1st floor corridor, old broken tv, lack of facilities E.g tea/coffee making in room, no soap/shampoo, poor quality of bed and horrible pillows!
the price was really good, surprisingly good breakfast, clean rooms, very nice hotel service In our room the barhroom frame was leaking and therefore the entire bathroom became flooded, moreover the toilet lid was broken. The next day we were offered a different room which was good.
Very friendly staff.
The Girl at the Hotel, I think her name was Mandy she was very helpful, nothing was to much trouble for her nothing I can think of only used the Hotel to sleep
Friendly staff and breakfast until 11am. Badly proportioned room with no basics such as towel rail or hook in bathroom for clothes / towel plus basin was in the room not in the bathroom. Could hear other guests in neighbouring rooms. Whilst breakfast buffet choices were good, the scrambled eggs / boiled eggs were left sitting since the start of breakfast at 6am so not palatable at say 10am. Also the meats and cheeses were left uncovered so not very hygienic.
