location, location, location! right in the thick of all PC attractions; clean, well maintained room, nice staff, easy check in/check out air conditioning kept the air in the room a little damp
While booking this motel I was a little hesitate because of the negative reviews, but due to little vacancies in the area I went ahead and booked this motel and I can honestly say I'm glad I did. I came to this motel expecting the worse and was pleasantly surprise. Let's start with the location, great everything was pretty much in walking distance, not to far from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable and the cleaning staff came around and cleaned our room like clock work. The staff was great, anything we asked for they did. So ignore the negative reviews I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place. Please take it from me if I'm giving good reviews on something then it was most definitely a positive experience.
Price No beach access. No amenities
We loved that we were able to do anything there. The room was comfortable, spacious, and was a great stay for our money. There wasn't anything that could have been better. It was all fantasti .
Location was spot on near everything convent to shops and restaurant and right across street from beach Bed and pillows where not comfortable at all and when we booked, it showed us one picture and we thought we would be staying in and ended up across the street in another one...
Clean friendly location perfect
Loved that the hotel was on the beach! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent value!! Could use some updating but the hotel was kept in immaculate order!
It's close to the beach. Noise was not as big of a problem as I anticipated. The biggest problem was that there were lights right outside the window that were on at night and the curtains on the windows were too thin and flimsy to block out the light. This may have been ok if we'd brought a big blanket to put over the window though. Towels weren't big enough to cover it up. Also there was only a sheet and a very very thin comforter-type thing on the bed. Other problems: beds seemed really short and I'm not particularly tall. The place could use an update or even just some basic replaments on things like the shower curtain. We saw a cockroach on the floor. All in all, I think this place would be ok for some young travelers or spring breakers just looking for a relatively cheap place to crash but it was not very comfortable for a family. We didn't sleep very well.
Considering that it seems a bit older the staff has done a GREAT job about upkeep and cleanliness of this hotel! Hands down my husband and I would stay here again! Great price and great location.. Only a short walk to the beach! We stayed in the room closest to the road (101) and at about 4 am there was a LOUD screeching noise and some noises that sounds like a hurricane or some random storm and a LOT of screams! We found out after waking from a dead sleep to almost having a heart attack and thinking we needed to pull the mattress on top of us that it was a garbage truck! WOW we thought we were about to die on our anniversary! Whoa
Cable was cool beds were comfortable No breakfast Naked man yelling Volgure things
I like the rates and the location The tobacco smell in the room
I was close to the beach with easy access to the main roads. Staff was supper friendly and awesome! A/C was turned on so the room was cold when I got there! Got a smoking room but didn't know to ask for a non smoking.
It was close to the beach Dirt. Very dirty. The carpet floor was very sticky
The lady in the office was awesome, though her directions to restaurants and beach access wasnt great. she did mention that i got a realy good rate on line for $55 and it was now like $88... I would have been way more dissapointed if i had paid $88. The room was ok, had cigarette burns all over the place... it did not smell like smoke (it was a non smoking room) im guessing they were very old... the rooms could use some renovations/repairs to make it look nicer. It also looked like there were some extended stay people... which always makes a place look more like a welfare motel than a vacation spot. For the lower rate, i would attempt to stay there again.
Nothing room was nasty roaches on the wall doors did not close toilet did not flush room smelled really bad
Just under $100 online , same day though
Cleanish, good location, awesome water pressure, friendly staff. If u want a 5 star hotel then u better pay 5 star prices. Otherwise bring some bleach in a spray bottle & maybe a bug bomb, walk in, drop off ur stuff, change into ur bathing suits, spray down the bathroom/fridge etc with bleach, turn off the a/c, set off the bomb & go have some fun cause that's what it's all about! Would stay again! Balcony door was difficult to open/close, bathroom door wouldn't close, pillows were awful, flying roach greeted us, office was in a different location then hotel. We paid for a beachfront room with a bathroom & four walls & that's exactly what we got
Everything was awful except for how close it was to the beach This was an awful hotel! Paper thin walls, tiny rooms that weren't worth the money, nasty complex.
Lady at desk bed was good. The smell from A/C tub has soft spot
Staff tries to be helpful. Walmart bag over smoke detector, daylight shows around door, shabby carpet, room smells (room 123), dirty linen/bedskirt.
Not only were the rooms clean and comfortable, but the staff was friendly and helpful.
The sheets and bathroom were very clean. Convenient location I was followed from the parking l lot into the hotel by strange men.it really scared me. Luckily the cleaning lady was in the hall and I was able to get to my room. The next day I saw them again and the followed me outside. It really scared me. I ran to office and got the hell out of there. The hotel was also really out dated. Nothing like the pictures.
We enjoyed not being too far from the beach and amusement parks! Wonderful time
The only three things i liked was that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the a/c was cold. Smoking room smelled horrible, stains from previous guests on walls, bathroom vent quite dusty. My main issue was a power outage that occurred in the middle of the night. That led to the room temp being uncomfortable which kept me up. I asked front desk if issue would be resolved and I was given a time of 715 when at that time power had been off at least since 3am. Out of fear of losing my refrigerated items I had to get out of bed at 8am to buy a cooler AND ice. Why do hotels have ice machines but won't allow you to get ice you need. There was a "no large containers or coolers" sign on the ice machine. I think this is horrible especially under the circumstances. Have they never heard of generators? Never stayed at such a property that doesn't. Never will stay here again. Although I do give them credit for extending the continental breakfast that I was no longer interested in after my early morning trip to the store. By the time the power was back on I was packing. Juice nor waffles were available during outage.
