Location, Location, Location! Its very convenient right next to Victory Liner Bus. We've stayed here about 5 times in the past year. The rooms are decent. Clean & hot showers. For a 2 star hotel this meets it. Staff are very helpful. We feel safe here Wifi is not accessible in all rooms and the rooms nearest to the lobby will get it.
Nice clean newer hotel! Like most hotels in Manila Area , they are starting to charge a premium like they are New York or Paris ect! It's still the Philippines but poeple are coming and paying these prices so I really can't blame them! I just don't see it, coming here the last 15yrs! the traffic is impossible, so plan on walking!
really nice breakfast small pool than in the picture
I was able to do early check in and late check out with no hassle. Also, left my baggage for a couple of days with no problem as well. Hotel amenities were great. Great location if your want to be near the airport and MOA.
Brand new hotel
The staff provided a friendly refuge after a long flight. I needed a nice place to clean up and get some rest they did well. My stay was too short
Close to airport and fairly close to Mall of Asia. Free shuttle there a plus, but taxi so cheap, ehh. If u gamble or need the Japanese Embassy, this is your place. Hotel Needs updating, furniture was a joke, bathroom tiles had mold. Not the star rating I expected.
Big rooms and good service. Hotel has some amenities still under construction.
I did not like the motel at all Unfriendly staff ,old building it was expensive for area .
The stall were friendly and the room was cleaned every day. The noise from the street vehicles was noisy. The location was bad with one good restaurant and no bars. The area is in a poor neighbor hood. Nothing to see while walking in the area. To far from any major down town city. I was disappointed because I had expected an apartment style room. The advertised Pictures are different from the actual rooms, which are smaller to. No dresser to put your clothes in. No laundry service. The one that is available near the hotel takes 3 days to get your laundry back to you.
NOTHING !! The place is full of roaches, air conditioning was minimal at best, couldn't eat the "free" breakfast because it was 20 minutes late in arrival (as I was at the elevator to check out and equally important, the photos aren't even remotely close to the room I was given. Look at the photos and then walking into a 5.5 foot wide by 11 foot long room, including the bath/shower.
It was just your basic room it was clean, a little small but you can't beat the price $210 for six days The staff was super friendly, and they did have a pool ,
Staff was professional and helpful
Cock roaches appeared all through out the room. Beds were uncomfortable with itchy sheets. Would not recommend only if in need of a one night stay.
Great location; friendly with guests and visitors Lack of maintenance of room; needs to be repainted and refreshed.Balcony door badly leaking air
Location Every stay at Oxford I have had issues with the hot water being hot .
the hotel is good for a traveller who like to enjoy nightlife and is very good location(shooping mall)-power plant, greenbelt, global city by using taxi cozt u abt (80peso-15peso) depend on traffic...is not good recomment for family to stay this hotel. the TV and the bed is old....
No hot water. Breakfast was poor.
not good at all, they are poor in hosptility.. they cliam i steel a pack of Cigrate!!!! Stupid hotel check out...you must count every thing before you enter..
Location good, very close to Makati Avenue Breakfast too much Filipino, nothing suitable for international. When you check-in, they ask you to sign the in-print for guarantee, which is never done in other countries. And when you check-out, they ask you if you had something from the minibar, and after your negative answer, they tell you to sit down and wait until they receive the answer from the floor if you said the truth or if you're trying to cheat them. I told them that this is very impolite and that they should process the check-out immediately, because the reception can receive the result of the room-check in the meantime the check-out is being processed. But they seem not to understand.
Great location, staff was wonderful, clean big rooms!
The staff were friendly The administration didn't seem to know what we had booked. They told us that they upgrade us but we had booked a deluxe double anyway.
Close to Manila Airports, service was very good, everything was very clean and tidy. Stayed there twice and on both ocassions had to ring the motel to pick me up from airport even though I had organised this when making my booking.
The cafe made some brewed coffee for me shortly before closing which on Manila is hard to come by. Every one uses instnat wioth powdered cream. These guys had real milk in the lobby coffee shop. I had reserved for $32US and had a cooy of my booking sheet with the amount written on it. The insisted on charging me 1,700 pesos which is almost $40.00US even when I showed my reservation printout, The desk clerk eventually called upon the evening manager and after a lenghty discussion/argument we were able to settle on 1400 pesos about $33.USD. The blamed the price difference on currency fluctuations which was totally false. USD to PNP had varried by less than 2% in the previous 2 months.
Internet. Close to the airport. Poor communication in English.
Internet. Close to the airport. poor English communication with staff.
Airport pick up, location, helpful staff, and food was good. Shower water was lukewarm at best
Nothing Somehow, all of the reviews failed to mention that this hotel was above a popular spot to pay for some action. Hookers aside, the room was very dark, the bathroom door did not shut, the blinds could not be completely closed, and the entire room was crawling with small cockroaches (I spotted at least 6). There was an excessive amount of mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bath towels were old, dingy, and severely stained. The wifi was so poor it took about 30 seconds to load each page. Upon checkout the next day, I asked the front desk if I could use their phone (as there was not one in the room) to contact my Uber, who couldn't seem to locate us (as the hotel is located on the second floor, and the wifi kept disconnecting). They informed me that they could not, because they could not call cell phones from their landline, and did not offer any assistance. I have been staying at cheaper hotels throughout my entire month stay in Asia and this was by far the worst one and the most expensive.
The breakfast buffet was stellar. One of the best I've ever had.
Great value for the price. Breakfast is actually more of a brunch buffet. Many choices. Water pressure was excellent. Amenities such as the gym and pool were enjoyable. Double occupancy room may be tight for American travelers; opt for a single bed room instead.
location, size of room, quality of room breakfast included the carpets in the hallways need to be replaced immediately. it is a shame because the rest of the hotel is terrific.
Location Wifi kept cutting out. Phone for staff was always busy so you have to go all the way down to get help with the wifi, and after a few minutes it would start cutting out again. Also if the weather is bad, the hotel does nothing to discourage Taxis from price gouging. It should be 46-52 pesos to MOA, but you'll be charged 100+ because the hotel does nothing. H2O won't allow Taxis on their property if they overcharge the guests, and these guys could learn from their example.
