Cons: There must be some problem with the sound insulation - from very early in the morning you are disturbed by the banging of the doors, pretty much non stop.

Cons: Too many mosquitos in the room... certainly a consequence of being in the middle of a garden, but still a bit too much. The good thing is that I could sleep with a mosquito net.

Cons: There was an issue with the payment process. I wanted to invite a friend and pay for her (main guest) but I was not allowed as I was not in the country. I had clearly indicated that I would not be the main guest. The staff was not proactive in finding a solution

Pros: Being a first time traveler to Phnom Penh, I was worried that the photos may be better than reality. Actually, it was much better than I expected. The room was well appointed and well finished with a great shower. The AC worked really well, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the highlight was definitely the rooftop pool! It was beautifully and uniquely designed and really made me feel like I was on a posh vacation. The restaurant had incredibly affordable specials, including a 3 canapé plate + cocktail for $6.95 USD!1
