The room was well appointed - not large but very good. Excellent shower! The evening meal was outstanding and the service was excellent and very friendly. Very good wine by the glass , if you wished, at reasonable prices.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: It had a wonderful view, very beautiful home. A warm welcome.
Cons: A bit to far away from pic du midi, booking says only 17km away when in fact it is an hr and a half drive from the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the property and the location on top of the mountain which is on the Tour de France route. The view from the room was breathtaking. Sylvain and Julia were helpful hosts to say the least. I took ill, and they found a doctor for me in the town below. Thank you Julia! The rental rooms have a large common room that overlooks the valley and has comfortable chairs for taking it all in. It was hard to leave. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Their children and dog also added to the overall lovely experience.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Hôtel Mercure Saint-Lary Sensoria - Saint-Lary-Soulan - Building
3
8.7 Excellent (1,337 reviews)
Overview Reviews
In a village at the heart of the Pyrenées, 70km from Lourdes and just 50 metres from the cable cars, the Saint Lary Sensoria mountain hotel offers rooms with views of the peaks. Enjoy a relaxing time on the terrace in the centre of a garden giving onto t he mountain. Or enjoy a session in our Thermal Spa and Fitness Centre. This is a hotel which has stayed true to its Pyrenean roots, cultivating a genuine charm and welcoming service.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The hotel has great facilities but they are only available for a limited period - the pool from 3pm- 8pm and the spa facilities are in the afternoon only.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel certainly exceeded our expectations, and by a large margin, simply because we had booked for a single night in what we thought would be a reliable, generic chain similar to Premier Inn in UK. However, it is far more luxurious than this, in every way. Really nice, spacious rooms (ours had a balcony) and a welcoming foyer leading into a large, well appointed lounge and bar area. The restaurant was well appointed, with outside seating and genuinely great food from an interesting menu. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and had no problem conversing with us in English. Loads of free parking right next to the hotel. Ultimately, the hotel was absolutely incredible value as we only paid "off-peak Premier Inn price" for our stay! Marvellous.
Cons: The only criticism would be the lack of air-conditioning in the bedroom - although I accept that the hotel is principally set-up as a winter ski destination. We happened to arrive during the July 2019 heatwave with temperatures in the mid to late thirties during the day and it was certainly hot in the room at night. However, a large fan was provided in the room, which helped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very excellent location, near the bus stop, and there is a river behind the hotel, children can play around there. The room is tidy and clean, you can see very beautiful mountain view from the balcony, the buffet is also delicious and teasty. It only takes 5 mins to walk to the Tour information office.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice dinner buffet; Room ok (on the side w/o chimney smoke impact)
Cons: Chimney smoke in the evening (one seemed broken/was completely black on the outside); luckily we could get another room. Several car spots in the garage are very narrow(10 euro/night is expensive for that)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful and were able to handle our request for a new room on a cooler side of the building due to high temperatures. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: There is no AC, but in this part of the country it is rarely necessary.

Cons: - no kettles and tea bags/ instant coffee which is a normal appliance in hotel bedrooms nowadays - refurbish finish not very well done (old paint can be seen under new paint in the bathroom and bedroom doors have paint stains on them) - pricey for a 3 stars hotel with basic comfort

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room with tea making facilities, 5 minutes walk to the centre of Saint-Lary-Soulan.
Cons: The hotel does not have a restaurant. The breakfast was not included and the selection was very limited when we arrived. It got better later on, as we were ready to leave.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location and swimming pool.
Cons: Room was very old and small. Poor and expensive breaksfast. We expected more from this hotel in terms of value for money and facilities. Reception hours are just like in a store. You have a phone for emergencies but no one was in the reception when we arrived the first day for check-in (8:10 pm).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to town centre but not too close. Very quiet relaxing location.
