Pros: Philip and Louise made our new year trip even more memorable. They are both amazing people. The breakfast was great. The common area on the top floor, overlooking the valley with a fireplace in front of you was very cozy and pleasant. You must try the "potence flambe au whiskey".
Cons: Not having shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Extra blankets in the common area for extra coziness :)

9.0 Excellent
Pros: My son had an accident on the 1st day of skiing and couldn't ski for the rest of the stay. The hosts were excellent.... they kept an eye on him while he stayed at the chalet, interacted with him often and even offered to take us to the hospital on the day it happened. Thankyou so much for your kindness.
Cons: Nothing.... the chalet was basic but clean and with excellent hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing home made jams, Nathalie and her family are very kind and welcoming, accommodation is located on the slope next to the ski lift
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My son and I found the location perfect. Morillon is a lovely Alpine village and the property is a classic french Alpine style house right next to the ski lift. The owners of the property Fredrick and Natalie were so helpful friendly and accommodating. They cooked a variety of different meals every day to exceptional standard from locally sourced produce. It was a very enjoyable stay that I would highly recommend and we all plan to return.
Cons: NA
8.8 Excellent
Cons: There was no snow at the village. No ski in/out (
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, 2 min walk to the lift that takes you up and the hospitality including the great breakfast. Parking in front of the house, great value for money.
Cons: Rooms are relatively small but space is used efficiently.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts Nathalie and Frederic where excellent and the food was great, excellent value for money , rooms spotless and warm , our room was by the exit so people getting ski boots on scuppered any lie in but other than that all good . 2 mins from Gondola and bars(only a couple of them)/supermarket although if you want a bit of night life then probably not for you if you like peace and quiet then it's perfect . Nathalie is lovely and so helpful as a host she is always on hand and prepared local dishes which all have a story to them or some history . All in all a quiet resort if you have a rented car like we did and it's only 1 hr from Geneva you can get to Samoens which is lovely and break up the fact there's not much to do in Morillon. But the price is right for some so ,,,,
Cons: Nothing really you get what you pay for and this exceeded the cost by a mile.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cosiness, host, slippers, homemade jam, character
Cons: nothing

7.0 Good
Pros: Sauna, Hammam
Cons: WiFi conectiion in room was terrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was very spacious and beds were super comfortable
Cons: The heating system was a little temperamental when we were there but the staff dealt with the issues well
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location just a minute from the pistes.
Cons: Family rooms for 6 have only 1 toilet.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Getting the car to the Residence is not straight forward, and parking after unloading is necessary. we should have been sent instructions. If we had been delayed and arrived in the dark it would have been exceptionally difficult.
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great view, clean, unusually sizable ski lockers, decent noise isolation
Cons: Beds way too soft leading to severe back problem, very poor reception (albeit not all staff), ski lockers poorly heated, undersized kitchen. WIFI below any standard
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Le Centaure is a great location with the advantage of gym, pool, sauna, steam, baby pool etc... plus the boot room onsite is great. They deliver bakery and wine to order and have cleaning facilities onsite.
Cons: There is only one toilet for the apartment, which means those using the second room need to climb stairs to go to the toilet at night and walk through the living area, which also serves as a sleeping area if more than 4 staying together. You need to be comfortable to ski down an often scratchy short and very busy narrow red slope to ski directly into the boot room. Otherwise you need to walk a bit uphill and steps.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Layout of apartment, kitchen facilities and overal comfort
Cons: No Wi-fi in room although we’re told we would have it available. Spa wasn’t always working.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great pool
Cons: Cleaning kitchen

7.5 Good
Cons: Very basic accommodation but worked for a couple of nights
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel was ideal for the Vercland lift - ok, as the hotel is low down (900m), on this occasion we couldn't ski down to the hotel, but the small lift was ideal and took us up to the 1500m base. This was a 4 day holiday, so suited us fine. This is a family run hotel - basic, but clean, tidy comfortable and sensible priced. Bedrooms are ideally sized, plenty of storage - great bathroom/shower - all cleaned daily. We booked in late on the first night, but were offered the option to eat in - good choice as the meals were very well priced and tasty (we eat there 2 from 3 nights). Breakfast was croissants, bread, cereals, yoghurt, orange juice, coffee/tea and selection of fresh fruit - what more do you want for breakfast! Ski lockers available, although we found it easier to leave our skis up the mountain in the ski shop. Above all - everybody happy to help and offer information.
Cons: You could pay 5+ times the price for accommodation, but for this price - there's nothing to dislike.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely charming restaurant with excellent food, good variety of choice and great value. Service was very helpful and friendly and English spoken perfectly.
Cons: Linen could be newer but was very clean
6.5 Good
Pros: We could see the ski lift just from our balcony, the staff was very very nice, the bathroom was very clean.
Cons: The odor of the place was the main problem, especially in the corridors. Mix of smells from restaurant, and I guess chlorine from jacuzzi? Wasn’t so pleasant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Kind people, good breakfast. Very good location for those who goes to Samoëns for skiing... don’t need to tale the car, as it is very close to the Verclan station... walking distance to the “remonté mécanique » 5min by car to Samoens city center. great value to the money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely restaurant. Spacious and warm room. Very comfortable.
Cons: A busy family run hotel. Could have done with some extra staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Location for us was perfect, very close walk to the Vercland gondola. Restaurant was nice.
Cons: The room was quite small for me and my adult son - but priced accordingly. small closet stacked back to front with theft prevention hangers making hanging clothes and jackets difficult. Regular hangers would make it easier.

With a stay at Dormio Resort Les Portes du Grand Massif in Flaine, you'll be steps from Flaine Ski Resort and a 5-minute drive from Forum Ski Lift. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Food was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly
6.7 Good
Cons: Reception only open early morning and late afternoon. We had arranged to leave luggage at reception but got there to find it closed and doors locked. Had to leave luggage outside and unsecured for the day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Views were spectacular accommodation was excellent.
Cons: Only downside was the hill to the resort it takes about 25 minutes to walk and the buses stop at 6.30pm and there are no taxis in flaine.
7.9 Good
Pros: The apartment that was equipped and clean. The position easy to reach and that gives the possibilities to ski out.
Cons: The apartment for 6 people is too small if 6 people are there cause two would sleep in the living room that is not very big. The water in the pool is not very warm. The restaurant is nothing special.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The room wasn't particularly clean and had a bad smell. Location not great. Swimming pool and spa not very clean and hot tub and showers were cold. Breakfast offering was limited.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Apartment very well equipped and great for the family
Cons: Spar pool / hot tub were a bit dirty and need maintenance
Edelweiss - Samoëns - Outdoor view

8.0 Excellent (572 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Edelweiss in Samoens, you'll be in the mountains, within a 5-minute drive of Samoens Ski Resort and Grand Massif Express Gondola. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked at short notice and given room with balcony and great views of valley. Breakfast very good.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Lovely family run hotel, great location and fantastic staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and great value for money
Cons: It was located a bit out of town with a walk up the hill from the town centre
7.0 Good
Pros: Great views across Samoens. Dog friendly. Good value. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit salad. Fab hot shower with strong pressure ideal after the slopes.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice and very helpful owners makes it all in all a pleasant stay. Beds are good and view over Samoens is beautiful.
Cons: At least in the main season, the hotel is overprized! Breakfast is ok but a bit monotonous. You need a car if you are skiing as the shuttle buses to the cable car are too far away downhill to be reached on foot. Would not recommend Samoens in the main season, for example after Christmas, as the slopes tend to be hopelessly overcrowded and you can expect long waiting times especially if you want to go the Flaine area.

8.0 Excellent (172 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Hôtel les Glaciers in Samoens, you'll be near ski lifts, within a 15-minute drive of Samoens Ski Resort and Les Gets Ski Resort. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, spacious clean comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, overall good value.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: The restaurant was only opened for breakfast. It was difficult to get somewhere to eat in the resort unless you booked the day before because everything was fully booked. It would have been a lot better if the restaurant in the hotel served food and they have a covered swimming pool but that was closed too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable spacious room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location. I loved the balcony to sit and retreat from the busyness of the town centre yet still be part of it. Very good extensive breakfast buffet.
Cons: Bed was a bit short and not the most comfortable, but ok.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Chalet Residence Les 7 Monts in Samoens, you'll be near ski lifts, within a 5-minute drive of Samoens Ski Resort and Grand Massif Express Gondola. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly.
Cons: Nothing really, but don't expect super service.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location close to centre and ski bus
Cons: Check in was poor, met by man who spoke very little English but did manage to tell us where to park and that our room wouldn’t get any cleaners! Reception was never staffed and there was no info in room. All a little dated. Beware what type of accommodation you book pictures portray chalet sometimes there is a room only deal. I would not put you off going but it is a bit tired.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good value for a budget trip. Clean and cosy.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location right near the centre of town. The room was basic but fine. Nice and clean and warm.
Cons: The rooms were outdated and the bed wasn’t the comfiest but the price was low so I suppose this makes sense. You had to pay €5 to rent a robe in order to use the Sauna and the sauna had to be pre-booked in slots so they could turn it on. (No one was in reception except for a few hours each evening so it had to be written down on a sheet). Because we didn’t know exactly what time we would return each day from skiing we didn’t end up using it at all.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: No curtains just the hooks left, cleaner used my toilet and didn’t flush it!
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location in the center of Samoens
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hot outdoor pool at Chalet Residence Les 7 Monts
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is superb, just in the center of Samoëns
Cons: Too old, too used...

6.7 Good
Cons: the music in the bar and restaurant was 40-50 years old. food quality was ok
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had full board, could choose packed or extensive dine-in lunch. The food was fantastic, fresh, well-presented and really delicious. Wine on tap at both lunch and dinner. Excellent quality and value on catering
Cons: The room/bathroom was very spacious for a ski accommodation, but dated. The rooms were also interconnecting. Great views, double aspect corner room. Above bar so a little noisy but quietened early on ( 11ish) so it didn’t bother us. With an update to the bedrooms/ bathrooms ( bath and shower) this hotel would Tick pretty much all boxes
6.7 Good
Pros: Good helpful staff
Cons: Poor Wifi in patches throughout the hotel that can only be improved by changing rooms. Buffet food choices very limited and moderate quality. We could not use the spa or sauna due to very limited opening times in the afternoon. Not useful for use after skiing. Signage for the hotel is poor making it hard to find even in the small village of flaine forum. Sat nat directions just confuse issues even more
7.5 Good
Pros: Basic but fine if you are out all day skiing. Rooms were comfortable and functional. Good location for central part of the town and main lifts.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very handy for the ski lifts. Fabulous food and wine (on tap!) Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: Accommodation rather basic but all the other aspects made up for this.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The restaurant was the most unorganised shambles I have ever known, we will never stay here again. There was only one lift, which broke down. The hotel was advertised as ski-in ski- out, but it was no such thing, photos showed area near slopes & lifts, but was very misleading showing other hotels, not those one. Although the staff were very pleasant, there was no management or organisation, and there was not a single meal during our stay when 2 or 3 items were missing or ran out. If there were knives, there would be no forks, if there were forks there would be no spoons or plates, or no juice, or no butter. It would take for ever to list everything that was wrong. Sad really, because the staff were really pleasant, but just badly managed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A massive boot/Ski room
Cons: bathroom very dated
