Need to lower F&B prices, due to area & competitive prices due to proximity of equal or possibly BETTER restaurants.
No sound insulation. Door does not close on either side. room linens were dirty, and wall had very apparent dry wall screws apparent.
Check-in area very hectic
Food was exvellent
Front of lobby too congested & overly crowded
Functional and clean rooms, all amenities available. Excellent location for conferences in convention center or one of the large surrounding hotels.
As expedia costumer typically placed in one of the less favorable rooms (in this case above the pool bar, whci was used for evening and morning events with music) Pricey food and drink items in the hotel (e.g. bottled water 7$) One of the access paths for baseball games is through the hotel, hence before and after games the business center and gym are virtually unusable.
I definitely recommend this hotel.
Very clean, comfortable bed, nice staff, perfect location, and great view from the 17th floor.
The Omni San Diego Hotel is one of the best and most conveniently located hotels in the area. San Diego is a huge tourist destination both for Americans and those traveling from around the world. Part of the allure is the weather, which stays close to 70 degrees almost the entire year. Those wishing to explore one of the most vibrant cities in the United States will love staying at this pristine and comfortable Omni Hotel.
This particular Omni Hotel contains 511 guest rooms and suites. Within the hotel, visitors will find many different amenities available to them. There is a full-service 24-hour fitness center, a fully-equipped business center, complimentary wifi and a stunning outdoor terrace with a heated pool, jacuzzi, and gorgeous stone fireplace for the rare nights when the San Diego weather gets a little chilly.
The Omni San Diego Hotel is a perfect home base for anyone looking to explore the city. The hotel is located just minutes away from aquatic theme park SeaWorld, La Jolla, Seaport Village, Wild Animal Park, Horton Plaza, Fashion Valley, and the world-renowned San Diego Zoo. The Omni San Diego Hotel is near some excellent restaurants, but some of the best dining in the area is actually in the hotel itself. McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel.
