Recently redesigned, the San Jose Marriott is connected to the San Jose Convention Center and offers travelers an inspired downtown location. Many guests stay at the modern hotel to easily attend events and trade shows at the convention center.
In addition to the adjacent Convention Center, guests at the hotel are also just minutes from events at San Jose State University and the SAP Center. Local attractions that are reachable by a short walk or drive include The Tech Museum of Innovation, Winchester Mystery House, California’s Great America Amusement Park, local Wineries, Santana Row, several shopping centers, and plenty of parks. The convenient location offers a popular destination for all travelers.
Amenities at the hotel include an outdoor rooftop swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness center. There are two high-tech conference suites with adjacent sleeping spaces and more than 21,000-square-feet of cutting-edge meeting and event space. San Jose Marriott also offers the fastest WiFi in Silicon Valley. A huge hit at the hotel is the delicious restaurant options, including a popular steakhouse helmed by celebrity chef Michael Mina and an eclectic lounge with handcrafted cocktails.
The accommodations at the hotel are modern and come in forms of standard rooms and suites. Each room offers a spacious layout, plush bedding, mini-refrigerators, ergonomic workstations, and high-speed WiFi, plus many of the rooms offer city views. When guests upgrade to a suite or Concierge-level room, the rooftop lounge is accessible and offers perks like complimentary breakfasts.

Cons:The valet. He did not specify pricing of valet vs self park or exactly where self park was located.
Cons:Charge for WiFi (unless you are an Elite member), ridiculous prices for snack shop food and goods ($5 for a Dairy Milk candy bar, $6 for an Odwalla Smoothie!), $45 for a t-shirt! Also, the hotel smells like the air freshener they pipe in at many of the Las Vegas hotels (could be a plus if you like that). Also, the choice of "aromatherapy" soaps are awful--why not go the clean, fresh scent of soap instead of burned wood?
