The front desk staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I liked the big screen TV, as well as the fact that it swiveled so I could watch either in bed or while on the sofa.
The location was good. The bed was comfortable. There were hairs all over the shower floor. It was very late at night so we didn't have the energy to change rooms. Also, there were stains on the couch. We took pictures of the hair and stains and showed it to one of the managers the next morning and she gave us a 50% discount. That was very nice but even at half off it was too much to pay for a room that dirty.
I love the room setting, very clean and spacious. The staff was very corteous and helpful ( they gave us very good recommendations on local dinings). The only I did not like was the breakfast setting, it was hard to find clean plates, dirty plates all over the place and a lot of demand and not enough suplly if you know what I mean.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean .
It was clean and comfortable bed. Everything was good.
I stayed I a king. Excellent spot. Especially for the money!
No frig or microwave in room
Close to the school where my daughter graduated college
The free breakfast was ok. The pocket doors were too hard to open and close. And the bath room was not as clean as it could have been.I saw a maid wiping a toilet with a dirty towel. How does that sanitize it.?
Comfortable bed and location was great. The smell of smoke in a NON SMOKING ROOM!!!! The toilet seat was about to come off and how terrible the walls looked in the bathroom area.
Cost effective accommodation with extremely friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Free wifi and breakfast. Bathrooms are small and rooms are smaller, but comfortable.
The price and convenience to the airport and area business is terrific. Quick and easy check in and check out. The is little in the way of soundproofing in the rooms. The doors have large gaps that allow sound from throughout the hallway and other rooms. Because of the low price, the hotel appears to attract guests that are younger and less concerned about the welfare of other guests. One women kept opening and slamming her door, running through the hallway shouting profanities and screaming in the parking lot at 2:30AM. The staff allowed this to go on for almost an hour before things finally settled down and I could go back to sleep. The next day, my bed and room remained undone and I received no housekeeping. It may be that you need to specifically request housekeeping during your stay. However, if so, I was never informed of this fact.
the beds were great and pillows for good sleep. great office chair in room. wonky internet... but they said to call the service. inconsistent internet connection for business work
A 2 to 3 star hotel with very friendly staff that was very accommodating. Rooms are a little small, but comfortable. Breakfast was standard with many selections to choose from. I would stay there again. Rooms too small with no refrigerator and microwave oven.
This was what we needed for the Sarasota Half Marathon- basic, but close to the start line. I accidentally got booked/charged for two rooms on my account. There was a bit of arguing with the front desk clerk about canceling the second room, but it was eventually done. The charge was still on my credit card when I got home, and I must commend Gary, the GM, on his service in helping me out! He was very quick to respond to my email about the situation, and made sure the charge was off my credit card within hours! Great service in turning an annoying situation into a good one.
Evening shift front desk staff
The location was very convenient for an early morning flight home. The beds were very comfortable. The parking situation was inadequate. We arrived back at our room after dinner and had to park in the back parking lot.
It was clean and the bed was comfy. Good value for what you pay for.
There was yellow residue and other filth left in the shower. There were black hairs left on the floor and sheets. The cleanliness of this hotel was horrible. The staff was the only pleasant thing about it.
The location was good. They were extremely intrusive. Kept opening the door as they knock. It would be understanding if they would wait for a response but I guess that's asking for a bit much. Won't be going there again.
The hotel is being refurbished: new bedding, hdtv, carpets, flooring, draperies, paint. All excellent and welcomed. Unfortunately, even the refurbished rooms still have old furniture, rusting microwaves, and other remnants of the old hotel. The place was pretty beaten up over the years and it shows. Days Inn has its work cut out to bring the place back to standard.
The beds were comfortable and room clean. According to the add it was supposed to be close to the beach but was very far. Also the price not great! Originally I was given a smoking room even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. A male staff member was helpful in changing that. Female staff when I arrived not so friendly and kept calling me honey.
Over-all the hotel stay was okay. So some associates had two other rooms besides me. 2/3 rooms the toilets hardly flushed then took 10+ to fill back up while making a sound. My iron didn't work and just leaked all over my shirt. The shower water was livable but clearly the hotel has a problem with water pressure. The renovations to the hotel are fine if you looking to save but they do look plan cheap. Their location must be horrible because nothing delivered to the hotel of then papa johns which ended up being $27/1 hour delivery for the worst papa johns pizza I have ever tasted. Check-out went smooth but their breakfast was pretty damn cheap. I about gaged on their grits and just ate cereal. Coming back down in a few months and will def pay the extra $40 somewhere else. Finally, I used kayak and they connected me to another site that was $10 cheaper. However, I did notice that this hotel seems to throw that price out anyways if you call and most likely get cheaper.
Newly refurbished, paint, carpeting. Bathroom ceiling fixture fell off on my head. I didn't touch it. No room to have breakfast both mornings it was packed. Bathroom sink only had very hot water and the hairdryer was not anchored with a drywall screw so it kept falling off the wall.
No hot water one day. Room was not cleaned during our two day stay. We paid $120 a night for what I would rate a $40 room.
The rooms are all entered directly from the parking lot - no long hallways. WiFi was super fast! Housekeeping very on top of things. Continental breakfast not worth much - but the coffee was good!
When I was moved to a clean and quiet room, I felt the room was nice and comfortable. The staff was most willing to accommodate me. It is a very noisy place and the pool was not heated as stated in the brochure. The initial room I was in looked like something that is rented weekly by the homeless. The rooms are not worth the price charged and the hotel looks nothing like the pictures on line. This is not the first Quality Inn I have stayed at that looks nothing like the pictures you see when booking a room. It is false advertising and leads people to believe they are staying in a nice place. This particular hotel is seriously outdated and needs some changes.
It is clean Tv didn't work, no shampoo, soap almost microscopic, owner didn't like my request for additional bath mat, said the one mat was for the two of us ( my mother has dementia, so she messed one up. Not the worst place, wouldn't go there again though unless stuck.
Clean bathroom Good TV Dangerous stairs to second floor Filthy floors Very cramped. Squeezed 2 double beds into a space made for one. Thin walls.
