5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great with a variety of fresh local ingredients. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous furniture style in the breakfast area and availability of fresh fruit tray in lobby.
Cons: I think it’s over rated and not a good value for what you get compared to much better options in the area. Queen rooms are very small and made up of two adjacent small beds which is very uncomfortable. WiFi does not work in upper floors. I was very excited to use the Turkish bath but was bothered by a stinky odor inside. Swimming pool is tiny and not much to brag about. Not a great walking area and lacking good view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming staff, good sized room, excellent facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is wonderful. The building is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious, tasteful, and comfortable. So quiet and restful. The staff also is terrific. They are so friendly and helpful, really going above and beyond to help us with issues like having to rebook airline flight, getting us to a bus to the airport in Izmir, etc. The breakfast was very good, with freshly cooked eggs and a nice selection at a buffet. There is no doubt that if I am ever again in Selcuk Turkey this is where I will stay.
Cons: All was excellent, no complaints at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is Exquisite. Truely 5 * from the accommodation itself to the customer service to the convenient location to Ephesus. It’s been pure luxury staying there as a guest
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel decoration is absolutely gorgeous in every detail, sculptures, art collections, chairs, etc. The manager Mustafa was so kind and helpful in everything, and it was a delight to chat with him. The only pity is that we stayed for only one night and didn’t have time in the morning for messages. But we will definitely return here when we come to Turkey again.
Cons: Nothing. I will give a score of 100/10 if I can.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It had everything we expected and more. The staff were very helpful and the owner did not spare anything to make the stay of his guest most worry free and enjoyable. Mr. Ali and everybody else working with him will be very fondly remembered by us for giving the best service during our stay.
Cons: Nothing at all. Everything was beyond our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location (for tourism) and service is outstanding. We arrived from India after a long 22 hour flight and Mustafa took us in and made us feel like home. They run a tight ship and because of this, their attention to detail is excellent. They individualize the experience of their guests - you can’t really ask for more! Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this hotel. It is in a quite area. The room is big and comfortable. We love the view from our balcony. The hotel decorating is very attractive. The breakfast area is beautiful! and plenty choice of breakfast. They also provide us the fried eggs and very delicious pancake. There is free Turkish bath available on site. Overall, this is the best hotel we lived in Turkey. We went to a local restaurant recommended by them, very nice and only about 8 minutes walk away. We enjoyed the walk back from the restaurant.
Cons: n/a

Not only were the rooms magnificent, but the views, food and wine from the restaurant, and beautiful items in the downstairs shops all exceeded expectations. The #1 reason I would come back is to spend more time with the hospitable and friendly staff though!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoy our stay at Hotel Mary's House. We took the night bus so we arrived very early in the morning and the hotel owner allowed us to check in straightaway with his kindness, understanding and very caring. We could be able to get a good sleep and ready to explore Selcuk in the afternoon on that day. The Hotel is quiet, very clean and comfortable. Room service is every day during our 3 night stay. Thanks a lot once again. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: Midnight dog barking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful family-run hotel and oozes with Turkish charm. I was greeted warmly at check-in with coffee and biscuits - even though I came in a bit earlier, the room was available. The room had a gorgeous homely, beautiful woodwork and classic Turkish feel - really gorgeous decor and bathroom sink. Selcuk had a lovely vibe as a place too, wished I had an extra night - the hotel had a great central location. Close walk to the sites and to town/restaurants. The owner Bugran is friendly and kind. Organized airport shuttle for me at good price on short notice - he was so lovely to tell me about Turkey and the agricultural crops on way to Izmir airport. Cute cats a plus!
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room with a good bed. Nice breakfast.
Cons: We happened to be visiting when many of the better guides, including the host, were away in Istabul for a travel agents conference. This was a one-time issue specific to our visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect location in Selcuk, close to all the major tourist attractions and just steps away from St. John's Basilica. The hotel has a lovely cool courtyard and beautifully spacious rooms with handmade wooden features carved by skilled carpenters. The breakfasts were superb, with a wide range of foods catering for all tastes. The friendly owners were extremely helpful and ministered to all of our individual needs. A highly recommended option for anyone looking to stay in Selcuk.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Delightful manager and family; generous breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hospitality! It was perfect location. Breakfast was excellent. The pool was lovely. Best place to stay in Selçuk! We even extended our stay an extra day. Thank you for everything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best possible care. Such a warm welcome and lovely staff. Would definitely come back.
Cons: The beds weren’t the most comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was cool, I got the balcony double. Breakfast was amazing, fresh from the owner's farm. The highlight, though, is the manager: he's an English teacher and also a licensed tour guide, he helped arranging so many stuff so we can enjoy our trip without any obligatory rug shop visit.
Cons: They only had stairs, so I had to carry my luggage to the third floor. The lights rely on sensors, so I had to lock my room in darkness. The manager's joke is towards the "bullying" side so if you're easily triggered, warn him beforehand.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was nearly the bus station. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious.
Cons: There was a pool but not available for use. If there are outdoor sitting in the garden would be nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel, decorated with taste. Excellent welcome, the owners are doing everything to make our stay comfortable, helpful in planning visits. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious as well as the bathroom. There is a lovely garden surrounded by a stonewall where a copious and delicious breakfast is served. The pool is well maintained and water is clear, it is nice to have a swim after a hot day of visiting the ruins of Ephesus. The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to nice restaurants, St John Cathedral and the Fortress. My room had a lovely view of the garden, the swimming pool and the Fortress. A place I would surely return to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our group of friends had the most amazing hospitality at this little hotel. The host is personable and his hard working staff keeps the place spotless. The showers were large. Oversized towels and clean linens. A beautiful view of the fortress from some rooms and the patio. Comfortable shared seating areas inside and a beautiful patio and pool for breakfast or evening relaxation. The host shared great information about the local area. I wish we had booked two nights here and skipped the stay in Izmir the night before.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations. Even closer to the little downtown area with lots of little shops and restaurants. The staff were super nice and helpful, with good tips on getting around. The rooms were modest but very decent and the roof top restaurant has an excellent view of the castle. The small pool and cold beer were the perfect way to relax after walking through Ephesus.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cosy, clean and basic. Definitely recommend
Cons: Easy to here to hear from other rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazon Petite Palace exceeded our expectations in all ways possible. Emre, the owner of the place, gave the best suggestions for our entire trip of Turkey. From taking Havas transport from Izmir to Selchuk, to visit Sirinchei - a hill top village which is worth visiting, to the restaurant suggestions and even shopping suggestions from Kadikoy in Istanbul. Emre was very friendly and helpful. The place itself was very comfortable, the neighborhood had a very rustic vibe and walking through the neighborhood was an experience in itself. Further, it is ideally located, the mini-bus station is at a 5 minute walk from where you can get mini-buses to all the local tourist sites, the Agora restaurant - best in Selchuk, at 3 minute walk, the museum at 2 minute walk, even the Havas bus station was at a 2 minute drive, just talk with Emre, he will arrange transportation for you if you are travelling with luggage. I would suggest every one to stay at Amazon.
Cons: Everything about the place was perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very welcoming and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to do while In Selçuk. Great little place to stay when visiting Selçuk to see the ruins etc .

Pros: The host, Mr. Emre and his cousin are very helpful and try helping you beyond expected which to me is an amazing quality! They guided me for the Ephesus tour, eateries and bus’s to take for commuting. Though named petit, the rooms are very spacious and have the cutest quirky interior. It’s was neat and clean equipped facilities.
Cons: Nothing, it was a great stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our host Idrim arranged transport from Izmir airport and welcomed us. He gave us a map and guided us about places to visit and arranged taxi. The hotel is family owned and located next St John's Church. Selcuk centre is at walking distance. The family room was just enough. The facilities are basic but good value for money to spend a night. The view from hotel terrace is good. Would recommend this hotel if you plan to visi Ephesus.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little gem is off the beaten track and very close to Ephesus and the Home Of The Virgin Mary. It has rustic charm. It is very basic, but extremely clean and very comfortable. There was no vehicular noise to disrupt our sleep. We booked this guest house as we were a day early for our check in at a resort in Kusadasi so we were able to break our journey and were near to tourist attractions en route. The owner provided a lovely and ample Turkish breakfast which was served in an unexpected leafy courtyard within the walled building.
Cons: For the price we paid, nothing

Pros: Suggested a region for dinner, Sirence but we opted for the less popular restaurant which still had the sunset and avoided the masses of tourists.

Cons: Bed could be better
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A short drive from Ephesus, what I love about hotel other than the stunning terrace is the fact that it's also a winery and I've had some of the best Turkish wine here whilst on my two weeker in Turkey. Also the food at the restaurant is delicious even by Turkish standards. Staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable.
Cons: Bring mosquito deterrent or remember to close the windows of the room. I unfortunately arrived in the evening and hadn't noticed the bathroom window was open upon arrival, noticed too late and there were a bunch of mosquitoes in the room. Needless to say didn't get the best sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An expansive and delightful Turkish breakfast spread. An opportunity to buy wine from the source, a gourmet vineyard.
Cons: Adding some more cold cuts to the breakfast menu.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Laundry service available on-site. Complimentary shuttle to and from Ephesus. Great location to restaurants, stores. Lovely courtyard to enjoy breakfast and relax after day's touring. Staff very helpful and accommodatiing.
7.1 Good
Pros: Has a lovely garden and nice decor with Turkish rugs, ceramic and woodwork. Free shuttle to and from Ephesus was also nice. Quiet residential location but if coming from train station there’s a steep hill near the end. One way to ameliorate this is to walk to Ephesus Archaelogical Museum and from there walk to hotel, which results in a gentler hill.
Cons: Compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Turkey, the hotel seemed over priced for what it offered. Plumbing old so toilet paper had to be thrown in waste bin. Lacked little touches like bottled water. Sheets were old and blanket was too small for bed. We had a room for 3 and it’s fortunate our daughter is only 5’4” as the bed was short and her feet hung over the edge if she slept straight. Her mattress was also hard foam. Breakfast was fine but limited (not buffet style).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We like the special decoration and nice garden, and hospitable staffs, we stayed there for only one night, but we really recommend the house for every one who love the life. Also This Hotel have free shuttle bus service to the Ephesus for the customers, just enjoy it!
Cons: Everything is good, it will be better if there’re some maps or papery information about attractions and transportation to share with our customers

Cons: The bathroom had a strange smell though it was absolutely clean. Room too was very clean.

Pros: The charm, the authenticity, the view over the town of Sirince, the food, the staff were all wonderful. The elderberry cordial upon arrival a nice refreshing touch. We were sorry to miss the cooking demonstration that occurred shortly after we arrived. We were beat from traveling and needed to unwind but would like to try on a future trip. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Need to be sure footed to negotiate the paths between buildings. Not for those needing assistance.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was extraordinary. Fabulous staff! Beautiful, rustic inn. Wonderful breakfasts and excellent food. We had a romantic dinner in the tower which was truly unique. Loved it!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting just above the town of Sirince. The decor in the cottage where we stayed was creative and gave a strong sense of authenticity. For the most part we had great meals both breakfast and dinner with excellent and friendly service.
Cons: The property is situated on a hillside with buildings some distance from one another. One must be fairly ambulatory to get from parking to the main reception/dinning/rooms building and/or from the parking to the several individual cottages. It is part of the charm of the place, but I site this just as a caution for older or handicapped individuals.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a work of art. From the rooms to the pool, cottages, tower, outside terrace, inside restaurant. Everything is made with eye for detail and respect for the history of the house & the environment.... Bravo for the owner and his ideas. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my favorite accommodation in Turkey!! The staff and sweet hotel dog, Argos, made us feel like long-time friends staying at the hotel. Not only were the rooms magnificent, but the views, food and wine from the restaurant, and beautiful items in the downstairs shops all exceeded expectations. The #1 reason I would come back is to spend more time with the hospitable and friendly staff though!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: You feel like home when you are there. Service was top notch. Huseyin was great, he accommodates to all my request. Even food after way pass breakfast time. Something i will never get in other hotels.
Cons: It was a little noisy cause of the morning prayers. I am a light sleeper so it can be distruptive for my sleep.

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Slightly above average prices, but once you get there you appreciate why!

Cons: The smell from the bathroom was bad
7.9 Good
Pros: There was a full Turkish breakfast including had boiled eggs, served on a balcony which overlooks the plain leading to the Artemision and Ephesus. Beautiful views in the morning and at sunset. We were not driving - but it is easy to find on foot from the station or bus station. For anyone driving, it has the advantage of easy parking without having to go into the old quarter as it is on the edge of the town. Selcuk is a pleasant market town and has a spectacular Saturday market. Ephesus is less than 10 minutes on the minibus from the bus station. There are good bars and coffee shops on the same street -Anton Kallinger Caddesi.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners and staff are friendly and are happy to help. The roof top terrace has a beautiful view for sunset and is the perfect spot to start your day. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location is great - it’s super close to St. John Church and an older Mosque (no loud prayer calls when we were there, though). This is a great family run guesthouse. We would stay here again!
Cons: The shower did not drain very quickly, so a few inches of water would accumulate. Wifi worked great the first day, but wasn’t working on our second day. Not a huge issue, but our room felt a little worn and dated.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great location for the St Johns Church I’d come to see
8.3 Excellent

8.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the best breakfast ( the watermelon, cheese, jam) ever, everything was just yummy. Our room had a really nice balcony and the view was amazing. But overall, the staff in everything. I forgot my new jacket in the hotel and realized about it the next day. They were so nice that helped me and send the jacket to the provided address in Istanbul!!! I totally recommend this place also because it is very well located.
