Pros: We stayed here last year and will probably do so next year !

Pros: Lake view from our room w/ balcony was AMAZING.
Cons: Beach shore needs to be cleaned up. Noticed other Inns/Hotels did, but Parkshore doesnt. Still pretty nice overall.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The resort had everything we needed for our trip. We were there for the Bayshore Half Marathon, and the hotel was close enough for easy access to the start point. We loved having the lounge/restaurant right there on site so we could avoid the horrible traffic due to the construction. Food was good, happy hour specials were great ($1.25 domestic drafts!). No complaints on the rooms, which were pretty standard. Beach was really nice, sunsets were magnificent.
Cons: Only negative was the breakfast buffet and it might have just been a one time thing. It was a bit cold.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great location. Awesome bar with fun happy hour!
Good6.2
Pros: Location was great, staff were friendly.
Cons: Heat in room was terrible. Shut off the first night so we froze. Shut off again when we were gone for several hours during the day. Staff adjusted the fan to constantly on but the unit made so much noise/vibration that it kept us up most of the night. King rooms are only next to commons bathrooms/pool/bar/restaurant so that hallway is noisy. Door to the outside is kept unlocked. Parking lot was a rutted ice pit, slippery if you have dress shoes on for a wedding as in our case.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was exceptionally accommodating. Fawn and Diane went out of their way to make my stay with my 9 year old daughter special... and it was!!! I highly suggest this location for families. Facilities were clean. Food in the lounge was reasonably priced and yummy. Lots of amenities: indoor pool, fire pit on the beach, bunk beds for kids, play station in the room... great views. Sigh. When can we go back?
Cons: We had a bunch of crazy gnats on our screens, so it was a bit awkward to have the door opened to the patio. Nothing a can of bug spray couldn't handle and definitely won't dissuade us from returning.
Good6.2
Pros: The view was amazing. Loved having a room on the beach side.
Cons: Bugs were all over the balcony door and we found dead ones on the bed and counters. The towels looked really old and gross. Room quality was a disappointment to us. It was doable, but I have higher expectations. If we didn't get such a good deal on Kayak and paid hotel rates, I would have been really upset.
Okay5.7
Pros: The view and location were amazing which is what you are paying for.
Cons: Pretty certain we had bed bugs. Bites all over our legs that couldnt be explained any other way. Never had them that’s why we aren’t sure. A lot of smoking (Weed too) around the premises which can’t be controlled I guess. Would blow into the balcony and we would have to shut the door. For $300-$375 a night I would expect more.
Excellent9.3
Pros: It was only a few miles from downtown, which was a huge plus. The beds were comfortable and my wife and I both slept like hibernating bears. (Though, part of the reason for that was because we just finished a two-night camping stint and slept on hard, rocky ground both nights.) We also had a balcony, which was sweet.
Cons: The shower head could have been more powerful. It took a while to completely wash our hair. Not a big deal.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Overall, it was a very clean and nice place.
Cons: The beach area was very small and there was trash all around the beach chairs. The elevator was extremely slow. We'd recommend using the stairs, if you are able.

Pros: Location of the hotel was great and the concierge staff is super nice and friendly! Room was pretty clean and loved that they served cookies in the evening!
Cons: I wish i wouldve gotten a beach view from my room and i also wish there would have been a pool.
Excellent10.0
Cons: Had I known, I couldn’t smoke on the beach I would have found a different place.
Excellent8.6
Pros: The beach area and view were very peaceful and scenic. Staff very helpful.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The beach front location is excellent. We also liked the fact that in addition to the beach, there was a well manicured lawn. Beautiful view from our balcony. Very good breakfast, better than most hotels provide.
