Waimea (Big Island) hotels

If you prefer driving to your destination, parking becomes an essential consideration. A few companies offer parking options in Waimea but it is more practical to park at your hotel. Some of the hotels offer free parking, which you can take advantage of. Hotels offering free parking include Marriott’s Waikoloa Ocean Club and Mauna Lani Point.

Kaila-Kona is located about 34 miles (approximately a 1h 20min drive) from Waimea and is popular for its nightlife. Several restaurants and pubs offer refreshing food, drinks, and live music while some have ocean views. You can reserve a room in one of the major hotels in this Hawaiian district, including Hilton Waikoloa Village and Waikoloa Beach Marriot Resort & Spa.

If you have a pet, you are most likely considering leaving them behind. However, it is possible for you to bring them with you.
