Only in Asheville could a hotel of this “quality” charge $150 a night. And it was clearly the cheapest place in town, judging from the party that rolled in and out of the rooms and parking lot half the night. Crappy beds, moist carpet, broken fixtures, etc. The air conditioner couldn’t even handle early June humidity. I can’t imagine what it would be like in August! Next time, we’ll be booking Asheville hotels more than a week in advance!

Pros: Helpful & Friendly Staff, clean rooms. We arrived late and left early, just a stop along the way for us.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Good7.3
Pros: The employees were very nice and welcoming. The proximity to the interstate was great.
Cons: The room was a little musty.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Updated room with all the features, fridge, microwave and large tv. Clean bed, bathroom and room. Nice separate office “cove” made for a great work area.
Cons: A/C unit worked well but was a bit noisy.
Excellent8.6
Pros: Convenient
Cons: A little too pet friendly but just because some dog owner don't clean up after pets.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Loved the laminate wood floors with having a dog with us. Also the price cannot be best for how nice this facility is.
Cons: The cleanliness could use a bit of improvement.

Pros: Alyssa...front desk staff, super helpful on phone after i booked it using kayak. I had to have a fridge in the room for medications and medical diet needs. (Also a microwave which we didn't need this time). Alyssa made sure both rooms had fridges. Front desk folks very friendly and helpful. All requests were met. Property quiet..even with furry friends all around. Like the wood floors and safe. Nice tv. Great proximity to dunkin donuts. Love the sun flowers by lobby. Not much of a lobby....thank you for a great visit. Asheville is awesome!
Cons: No tissue box. No dirty laundry bag. Both rooms had sugar ants. Cleaning of room last day (3rd) was really weak. Didn't leave hand towels or washcloths. No breakfast? Didn't rri used to do continental bf? No email reminder of reservation like i get with marriott.
Mediocre2.5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It was filthy! I wiped the bathroom floor with a wet washcloth and the washcloth was black with dirt! And the room’s window was so smudged and dirty that I could only see out of a dirty, nasty window! When I first checked in, I had to take the tv channel changer back to the front desk after trying to make it work for 45 minutes. THE BATTERIES WERE DEAD! It is apparent that NO ONE CHECKED MY ROOM FOR READINESS BEFORE I CHECKED IN. Outside the room, especially by the elevators, the concrete walkways have not been cleaned in forever and the floors IN the elevator were filthy. The walkways outside the building need to be powerwashed or even sandblasted! The whole Inn felt dirty AND I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. Also: The air conditioner would not stay on and I was up all night long trying to make it stay on because it was so hot in the room. The chrome light in the bathroom was completely rusted and the carpet needed cleaning. And as I already pointed out above, the wood-like vinyl flooring was filthy dirty! THANK GOD I ONLY BOOKED THE ROOM FOR 2 DAYS! WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY! And was I rested after my stay at this RED ROOF INN? NO! I was too busy cleaning it!!! I am so glad I am now home and comfortable and cool.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Building doesn’t look like much from outside but inside is very nice. Quiet enough. Several places to eat within walking distance.
Cons: Doesn’t serve breakfast (they do have coffee and tea. Most hotels like this do have breakfast so I assumed they would
Excellent8.0
Pros: The staff was nice and location was good.
Cons: Room was a little dirty and musty and parking was insufficient.
Excellent8.0
Pros: It was quiet, clean, and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: No exercise room or breakfast.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Everything. Close to downtown but far enough away to not be overwhelmed.
Cons: There was no breakfast, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and the remote did not work.
Excellent10.0
Pros: rooms recently remodeled very clean and friendly staff
Cons: no hair dryer in the room
Good7.4
Pros: Very welcoming desk clerk, clean spacious room, convenient
Cons: Supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. I don't know how they could possibly guarantee that so should not advertise as such. 1st room smelled heavily of smoke, clerk quickly changed us to a more convenient room that was fresher. During the night we could smell smoke from another room. Thin walls, could hear the neighbor snoring
Good6.8
Pros: The room was fine for the price. No big complaints.
Cons: The tub filled with water during each shower and staff didn't answer the phone when we called to report it.
Good6.0
Cons: room was on side of hotel closest to interstate. The traffic noise seemed loud.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Stayed there for the dogs since they allow dogs, even big ones. But once there we were very impressed with the cleanliness, and friendly staff. Outdoors the grounds were clean and well kept. Inside we had two very comfortable beds, very clean bathroom and sink areas. And the location was easy to find and close but not right on the highway. A tremendous value and we will definitely use Red Roof Inn again.
Cons: To my very pleasant surprise there was nothing to dislike.
Good7.4
Pros: Location
Cons: Beds a little uncomfortable
Excellent10.0
Pros: Not my first rodeo with Red Roof, It was what I wanted.
Cons: The only down fall was the musty odor of the room.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Excellent price for the room. Rooms have been updated and very clean. Would stay again.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent10.0
Pros: We were passing through Asheville to visit a friend on our way further south & just needed a place to stay for the night. For the purpose it serves & the rate, I give this place 5 stars. VERY nice people, clean, comfortable..... Plenty of places to eat/gas/convenience store within walking distance. And Asheville is among the greatest places I've ever been.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Very nice room. This was q quick stay on a trip to South Carolina from Wisconsin. Wish I could have stayed longer.
