breakfast bad location
Room design is perfect (except someone chewed table top in the bathroom). Design does not leads to comfort this time. Usability of any element is very low.
we did like room, restaurant, not expensive ,good condition, everythink was perfect! morning receptionist were soooo rude...but its ok,i dont remember her name, she is small,skinny....but not nice at all... but the rest staff were very nice and helpful
room was nice just the bathroom furniture was old, damaged and not appropriate for 4 star hotel, quite far from city center, the rest is ok for such an expensive city like milano
Nice, new & modern designed hotel, not so far away from city center. Very nice & helpful staff. Hotel definitely started its services to early. 2 times during our stay there was a lack of electricity, my girlfriend get stacked in elevator for 20 minutes & very bad organization during breakfast(not enough tables, staff, products etc.)
breakfest is wonderfull, interiors are really nice,
Great buffet breakfast in sunny modern dinning area. Great room decor. Poor location. The 35 Euro we saved for one night was spent on taxi fare. Hotel front desk was understaffed, although nice. Was obvious that hotel is still under construction and was not constructed with care.
Room, reception and breakfast area design. Good breakfast area staff. It is still under construction! Everywere is dust! Parking only near the hotel for aproximetly 10-12 cars for all hotel! Towels in the shower make so big quantity of down what all room is white! When you take a shower all floor is wet. One day room-service forgot to take a toilet paper, second one forgot about soap. Hope if owners of the hotel change the staff hotel will be more welcome!
The beautifull design of rooms and general areas The location is quiet but the street not so nice
Good location, pleasant staff, nice rooms No Air conditioning working at the time of our stay!!!!!
The traffic noise worsened by needing the window open for ventilation.
Closeness to Stazione Centrale & metro Rooms did not have shower/wc
it was not good at all, the room was of very bad quality and standard and was too expensive for what you get. the only good thing was that its very near to the train station.
the position of the hotel Too noisy room, it was impossible to sleep there due to the traffic all night long.
For such an international location, reception had a very poor grasp of english. Toilet leaked when flushed. Very expensive and generally poor facilities.
Good location - near to statin and ok for stop over during travel.
staff is willing to help. Clean toilet. Room could be more clean.
Nice surprise, because I have been in Milan in many cheap ratholes... But this hotel was clean, spacious rooms, nice staff, and excellent location!
location was good close to central train station, but otherwise I did not enjoy my stay there. the size of room was particularly small, and the price did not reflect the quality of the hotel. It is a possibility that the hotel increased the price as the city was busy with the exhibition.
Nothing It was horrible while making the checkin I don't remember how many people asked for a room for 1 hour It was a pick up hotel and we are very disappointed to find such an hotel in booking.com It was a very bad experience
Good hotel, good stuff, small, but clean rooms, excellent disposition very bad and slow elevator
the hotel was at a good position.
very old hotel, my room was GREEN from the carpet to the bedspread. old and shabby
the only good thing about the hotel is that it was close to where i wanted to be, it's not in the heart of the city but it was what i needed at the time and it was close to transport and shops. the morning staff were unfriendly when i arrived, they treated me as i was there to give my money and for them to offer what i paid for. verry sad welcome. it's a shame. the room was looking clean but it had a smell of something coming from the carpet i think it was damp but i can't say for sure. also the room felt empty, dark/bad lighting and also on the website they say that the hotel has a theme from an opera for every floor, i was on the third floor and theme was "a cheap hotel in Milan for a high price".
Attractive price Every morning is very noisy of the metro voice...... Like morning call everyday.... Is really bad
Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very convenient and central location. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and wold stay again. Graffiti on lift
The hotel was in excellent proximity to everything! The staff were very helpful.
location airless small room
It is nice hotel, located in the shipping center, It is very calm. The staff are friendly, even you have to carry you bags to your room by yourself. The furniture is old. Anyway, it is not bad. The architecture of rooms. You have to run through long zigzak allays to reach your room. So you feel that you are running in a puzzel.
Hotel is nice, with painted walls. Nice bathroom. Location. It was not so obvious that is directly on the underground in the street with heavy trafic. It was dusty in the room, and when I open window, too noisy.
Staff were excellent - extremely pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were spotless and beautifully appointed. Loved the courtyards, particulalry pleasant on warm nights. Very minor things. Iron in room would have been good, and some milk for the tea. Nothing of any consequence at all.
The location of this hotel was great for getting to an early morning meeting without having to hit the Milan traffric and the location of the hotel's advised private parking garage was good but extremely expensive even compared to central milan rates 30 euro for 12 hrs! most other car parks charge 25 euro for 24 hrs. We stayed in a junior suite which was very nice but there didn't seem to be much hotel info in the room and we didn't even realize we had a mini bar until it was too late. Ideal for business but nothing around the hotel if coming for a romantic stay! Town House 33 is advertised as just a 10-minute walk from Milan's fashion district and featuring its own private garden with palm trees, The hidden private garden is a peaceful oasis with exotic palms decorated with small refined tables and pretty soft chairs, it is possible to drink a glass of wine and taste marvellous snacks and meals. These coments and the fact that the price for a junior suite was so cheap sold this hotel to us but when we arrived we were taken into the the hotel next door 'townhouse 31' to check-in which is in the middle being renovated and was stood in what looked like a old furniture storage area! this and the fact that the palm tree garden was not in use for drinks darken our stay.
The staff is very nice and welcome, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good. the wireless connection for the internet was available only at the lobby of the hotel
The breakfast was amazing! The man working at the front desk on the night we arrived also recommended one of the best restaurants we have eaten at on our trip. Great experience. The hotel was a little farther out of Milan than we maybe would have preferred. It was very easy to get on the tram system however did end up costing about 5 euro per person by the end of our 2 day stay.
The breakfeast is execrible
Rooms not clean enought
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.
Value , Location
Fairly decent sized room.Bathroom was clean.
the breakfast was good the night personel was rather unattendive.
Staff were not friendly
overall, everything the hotel offered for the price, was a great deal. I think the breakfast was a great deal daily for the price. The single bed was a bit short but I managed. The only negative incident, I experienced was on my last day, when i needed my sleep the most, to travel back home. Some idiot came to his room (next to mine) at 3:30am and apparently didn't think his voice traveled. After the noise made in his entrance he proceeded to talk on his phone for an extended period. when I couldn't take it any longer I simply yelled from my room to "shut up" It ceased:) The floor could have been cleaned during my stay, it seemed they didn't get to it. Overall, I was satisfied and would recommend it.
Location next to tram was perfect - easy access to city centre and to central station. Room was spaceous and clean. Staff was very friendly. The variety of food on the breakfast table was not very exciting. But then again Northern Europeans put more value on a full english breakfast than Southern Europeans.
Easy to find, comfortable room, very clean hotel. good value. Breakfast could have been better. There was not too much on offer.
The size of the room is good and good a/c also The Receptionists didnt salut us or welcome us they were like angry men , really I didnt like their behavior. Also poor and poor breakfast there is nothing to eat . When I booked at Flora hotel the internet wifi was included in the price but, when we arrived they refused to give us the the password and they said the internet is not included and there is nothing free in Italy . Really poor dealings
The proximity to the train and metro stations was wonderful - just right outside the door! And the staff recommendations for restaurants in the area was right on.
The staff very friendly and the receptionist were gorgeous. I have fun too, although for few hrs to know them. Location ideal. NO
the staff, the location and he bed. internet was way to slow....I paid for a service that wasn't up to my standards.
(1) Strategic location - near to Milano Terminal Station (2) Allow early check-in (> 4 hours). (1) Should provide free internet access (2) No maps & no introduction of Milan (3) Arrogant counter staff which gave us bad first impression (as this is the 1st hotel we had for our trip in Italy).
It was clean, comfortable and close to Milan Central train station. Yes, the decor is a bit dated, but the rooms are big and you have everything you need. Good value. The hotel staff were not particularly friendly but we did not let it bother us.
Location was excellent. Very near to the Central Station
Very convenient location to the station.
good location, nice room charge for internet
Rooms & hotel facilities were very clean. Staff was very friendly and provided good service. Roome were quite and at the right temperature. Bed was good. Breakfast could be a little bit improved (buffet was very simple).
the clean room' the food
nice and helpful staff hotel renovated ages ago. staff is doing thier best, but carpets, walls even elevators look like in an old, not used factory. 4 stars for such hotel??? never should get it!!!
Our purpose, was one night during our trip to Toscane. The family room was big, and two twin beds. This suits perefect, for a reasonable price. Very old fashioned, classic interiour, not easy to find the right extit on the divers highway in Milan....Breakfast was poor....
The carpet in the room was dirty.
Reasonable room, good access to public transport to go into Milan and good breakfast
They told us that only 2 of us could have the free buffet for breakfast that the third person would be 20E - this is the only time we have stayed in a hotel room paying for 3 people and have been told we would have to pay extra for the "free buffet" - also the internet access was 11 euros per hour ( and we were unable to access it at all) way to expensive when normal hotels charged only 2-3 Euros.
Reception staff - outstanding - really helpful and pleasant Breakfast very good during weekdays but not good Saturday or Sunday. Fruit selection poor and croixants restricted to chocolate only on Sunday!!! Much as I like chocolate there are limits!!
The waitress in the restaurant did not speak any english, only italian and french which we felt is not acceptable for a big hotel like this. We had big problem ordering food that evening. Something that normaly shouldnt be any problem. This was very frustraiting.
Mossimo the reservation manager was excellent as it was the first day the hotel was open, he handled all problems in a professional way, he coulld not help enough, he was a great
The facilities were great aswell as the room. Staff was really kind and helpful. There is a city bus that passes by and takes you to the metro station. Breakfast was good and really good value for your money. Would come back again and recommend. Only bad thing would be that it is not too close to the city and the city bus that would take you from the metro station to the hotel stops service at 9:30pm.
Hotel is very new and clean. It has a big parking space. It is very easy to reach high ways. Just a small note, you should have a car to reach easly to this hotel, TV channels were limitied
We had a great time, the staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotless. The location is on the outskirts of the Milan, well suited if you have a car and ok once you master the local transport . If not be prepared for a walk ! Struggled to work out how to flag a taxi down - look for a yellow post/kiosk with a yellow light on the top and press the button and wait
The hotel is brand new I loved to be a "first user" Routing problem by GPS/and directions from the city
May be the easy access to the airport The hotel is named "Holiday inn express" not "idea ......". The environment is absolutely not charming and even looks not safe . If you are not italian , you are treated like a 2nd choice especially at the reception and in the restaurant ( except for the breakfast ). Here you come to sleep, to pay and to forget the place.
The quietness and the facilities pretty new. The surroundings, it's far from anywhere an there is not much around.
The hotel was well located to everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel was great,
ts a nice simple hotel which rates are always better than all hotels around it Just 1 small elevator, you need to wait to be able to go up or down
The view from the hotel terrace is great! N/A
I likd its convenience to the station I thought the shower would have been better with a glass screen,so that the water didn't go all over the floor.
- the location is very good as a point of further navigation; free of charge baggage deposit, even after check-out time; friendly staff. nice option for a pizza served to a room, ok refrigerator (funny!) can save your life in the morning :) - it took some time for the heating to go to the full temperature, a noisy one, too; rather dimlit rooms; small and quite shabby lift; some rooms are refurbished, although the one we stayed in (411) was not the case; nevertheless, price is good for the conditions (for centre of Milan). the city itself compensates for any hotel issues or bad weather, if any. a budget traveller will appreciate what he/she gets.
Rooms was available early and staff was very helpfull. The bar closed early and drinks were to expensive. See above
a short two day business trip. this hotel is very centrally located, clean with charming staff. some rooms are in need of modernisation. same as for lift
To be able to reach the train station by walking. They tried to charge me extra money for drink that I didn't have. They didn't trust in their customers and ask for payment when chck in on first day.I had to pay on first day. The Hotel was too cold their heating system doean't work all the time. For internet customers they book their worst rooms ( the smalest and on the top floor.)
where it is situated
Easy to get to from the main station. Bed was extremely comfortable. Desk proedures quick. Bath towels far too small. Had to use both to dry off.
Friendly staff, quiet Dated
availability of the team for the information on the city. ( visit, commodities,... ) lack of information on the hotel commodities ( breakfast time,.. ), guides of the city in the room.
the staff were very friendly. the hotel was very clean. we didnt feel it should have been rated a 5 star hotel a 4 at most.
The staff was quite helpful. Hotel is located in the city, very close to the tourist attractions and shopping district. We stayed at the junior suite, it was spacious and good for 3 people.
The hotel employees try everything to do good for the guests, although they don't have much to offer. In Holland we have other expectations for 5 stars! Underground station too far away, no sauna, no swimming pool. Simple breakfast and after 10.00 they ran out of cheese and ham and speck, though the breakfast time was till 11.00. No luxurous facilities. No luggage service. Small room for that price. No one at the hotel bar in the evening; no guests and no employees. When we got the room, the room key and the room lock were broke, it didn't work out, we could hardly come in and there was no other room available. Later that afternoon they fixed the key/locker. It's all very clean, and everyone in Milano knows the good name of Hotel Pierre. But we couldn't find out why the hotel has this very very good name...
Ease and swiftness of check in; proximity to the centre Seemed slightly overpriced for what you got.
Very clean, good location, delicious breakfast, spacious room (thin walls though - could hear adjacent room), good room amenities (safe , hair dryer, bath robes, toiletries), very clean and modern bathroom, nice staff, comfy lobby,... Will definitely stay here again Hotel didn't have map of Milan or various tour / activity brochures
The location of the hotel. Unconfortable, poor services, doesn't deserve its 5 stars.
Food was fantastic but pricey Single room was far too small. Bathroom was also far to small.
The hotel's location is very good - in the centre of Milano, very close to the shopping area. Breakfact was also good. The rooms are old and need the repair. Very-very bad rooms, not 5-stars hotel at all. Rooms are more like 3-4 stars hotels...
The staff were very helpful. The room service menu was merely the hotel's restaurant menu which offered four course meals.
easy to reach; nearbij the duomo; very good breakfast; clean rooms; friendly staff
The luxury of the rooms and the servise Nothing
The location is excellent: we walked to all main attractions and to train to Malpensa airport. Personnel is extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet was good, with live music on Sunday. The room was a good size and calm, with a very modern bathroom. We would go back any time.
Interier, design Toiletry Set (shampoo, lotion ...)
This hotel offers nicely decorated rooms which are large by Italian standards. Its location, virtually behind the Scala, is perfect. Fairlly bad smell near the elevators on the ground floor. Attentiveness of breakfast room staff could improve.
outstanding room interior. you feel like in opera house. advance twin option is extremely amazing with two floors and stylization for the opera balcony. BRAVO. liked everything.
I liked the desing of the hotel - its so modern, and the large room with opera wallpapers was amazing. The staff is extremely helpful! And also breakfast was really good. The bathroom was quite strange: too large but not convinient. U dont have even a glass to put ur toothbrush. Also hotel is too modern and sometimes i needed extra explanation how to use facilities in the room. Unfortunately there were no info list in the room.
Staff were excellent
Very quick check-in/check-out. Good service
location is the only good thing about this hotel. rooms were too small and staff was not cooperative. no free wifi.
The location was very good for the central station, literally 5 mins walk. I wanted a non-smoking room but there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. As I was spending little time there I didn't request a move. Only one night, any more I would have asked to move. Overall not bad for central Milan.
big room, near the central station breakfast could be more generous
Pleasant staff, in a location easy to find, clean and tidy not enough pillows
Acctually we didn't stay at Cristallo, we ware moved to another hotel because of some problems in hotel Cristallo
the younge guy at the reception do not know how to smile, and he is not pacient to customers. In the bathroom, one bag of shampoo is opened and an empty whisky bottle was found under the bed.
Lage unweit der Stazione Centrale, Zimmer ruhig, gute Abdunkelung am Abend älterer Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr barsch bis abweisend, Bad nicht gerade sauber, nur italienische TV-Sender
close to centrale where i arrived the room was boiling... and it was 25 degrees outside...AC not functioning... had to open the window to let some air in
staff is excellent but rooms are really small. hotel is fine for one night stays but I do not recommend that hotel for long stays.
The location was very convinent to the copnference venue as well as it is surrounded by a big shopping area. The services and the hotel facilities. The room size is very small to deluxe double rooms. The bathroom is very strange and ity is totally uncomfortable.
quiet and clean room
Very luxurious, clean and the staff was very helpful Rather expensive for Saturday night
Excellent ratio price/quality (special week-end rate) by Italian standard ; every was Ok for the rate paid - overall good service - not right in the center but very easy access with tram/metro.
the location of the hotel it was not very far from the shopping area but it wasn't too close either the small size of the rooms
The location ... easy to get anywhere The rooms are very small ... even though I had a deluxe room
profesional staff at the reception room very small for a 4 star hotel
Good location, fairly near Cadorna railway station We were on the top floor and Ian doesn't like heights!
