Horrible. We got screwed on this deal to the tune of $600! Apparently there are two different Avis drop off locations at one and the same Geneva airport. Avis claims we dropped the car off at the wrong Avis location and is charging us $600 even though the locations are less than a mile apart. I’m all about principle, so if we left the rental in the wrong location (why didn’t they say anything upon returning the car?) if there’s some small fee like $50, I could understand that, But $600 is straight up highway robbery! Stay away from Avis! Obviously I’m disputing this charge and if they end up correcting it, I will change this review to a positive one. But if they don’t correct it I will make sure to never again rent from Avis, and I will make sure all my friends and business associates will know about what happened here.Reviewed 15 Aug 2024

Pros:Really nothing.Cons:They tried to give us a car under the category we had rented. when we asked to change, the staff wanted us to pay more for a car full of cigarete smell because "there is no other car". after more than an hour negotiation, they agreed to give us a new car which was all the times at the parking. Also the staff in the picking/dropping point is really unhelpful, all the times smoking and no attention to customer at all.Reviewed 21 Oct 2019
