Pros (+) The bed was super comfortable and the room was very cozy, clean, and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and so full of history. The two bars are both excellent. I love the location, being directly between old town and Boston Common. I couldn't ask for a better first stay in Boston.

Pros (+) Location was good. Pretty hotel.
Cons (-) No wi-fi, walls were very thin and cleaning staff was loud in the hallways- they woke us up both days. Besides the women behind the counter, no other staff smiled... literally. The bellhop, valet, restaurant staff, etc. They all looked miserable. Very strange.

Pros (+) This hotel was stunning! We were instantly greeted by professional and friendly valet and escorted into the lobby, which is breathtaking. The history alone is what motivated us to book our stay, but the service, decor, location, and comfort of the bed is what will make us stay here again and again in the future.
Cons (-) The rooms and bathroom are very small, but the comfort and decor make up for the small spaces.

Pros (+) When we arrived the hotel was sold out and did not go or our "guaranteed reservation" for a double room. We were instead offered a full size bed and a cot for the same rate even though the room sells for $50 less. Spent most of our night on the phone with Kayak who didn't care. Says it's non refundable yet how they can say it's a guaranteed reservation when clearly it's a maybe!
Cons (-) Horrible customer service by hotel manager and kayak. Hotel didn't offer to call around or find other accommodations for us.
