Outstanding short break in Brighton
Good old fashioned hotel in a fantastic seaside location, The Grand offers a calming atmosphere mixed with special personal service to make all guests feel welcome. The staff couldn't enough for us 10/10.
Walking up the Victorian staircase, But having said that there are also two lifts available.
Great stay would definitely recommend. Staff were very conscientious and accommodating. Room great too.Thank you.
Breakfast was great - huge choice of cereals and fruit and beautifully cooked old favourites eggs, bacon and sausage with all the trimmings. Generous pots of coffee and plenty of fruit juices. Great breakfast! Location superb, right on the front and five minutes walk to the Lanes and all the super restaurants. All the hotel staff were extremely smart and well turned-out, and were a credit to the Hotel
Disappointed in room furnishings. Bed was great but there were no cupboards or draws for personal items. Furniture appeared to have been flung in with little thought, covering plug points. Bit of a struggle using kettle due lead being too short for available plug. Bathroom shaving mirror was dark as lighting was on the side of the mirror and not along the top.
Excellent room which was clean and well equipped. Tea & coffee making plus biscuits and water. Great buffet breakfast included in the price.
Nothing, although the car parking was expensive.
