Pros: The beds were comfy and the room was clean and a good size. Lovely bathroom. Parking was easy.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. My husband ordered the full English with fried egg and it came with no egg and a pile of salmon on top of the bacon. Pros: The Staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The location is not to far away from the town centre which was great as it was nice and quiet. The staff kindly made me a bacon Sandwich and left me some out some fruit juice.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. If I had to say something it would be I would have loved to stay another night.

Cons: Not suitable for anyone Less mobile. Lot of stairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room was very impressive the views over the harbour was fantastic especially this time of year with the christmas lights. The room was very clean and tidy. The power shower was very welcomed after a long day.
Cons: The VERY VERY squeaky rear door...please grease the hinge...
7.1 Good
Pros: Great views across the harbour. Wonderful central location and very helpful staff.
Cons: Difficult to find the entrance, and old world charm does create other accessibility issues.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location overlooking harbour. Former yacht club so nautical theme, sailing pictures, silver trophies, telescopes, etc. Very nice bar. Old-fashioned building, large rooms, high ceilings, stuffed leather chairs. Staff friendly and helpful. Quite near to centre of town, plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs close to hand. Terrific power showers. I'd certainly stay there again.
Cons: Lunch, but no breakfast or dinner. They have a deal with a very nearby cafe a few minutes walk away. Rooms on second floor, no lift so a bit of an effort if infirm, overweight, drunk, heavy bags, etc. Great shower but no bath.

Pros: The lady on reception was outstanding She went way above and beyond. If for no other reason I would return because how good she was. Lovely rooms and food too. No complaints at all. Just Perfectly Wonderful
7.5 Good
Pros: Stayed here before and we love the location. So close to the beach for a quick stroll.
Cons: The property is fine just a little disappointing that on arrival (30 minutes before the 2pm book in time) we simply asked if it was possible to get checked in only to be spoken to by an absolute bull of a rude waitress saying that the establishment is fully booked and check in is at 2!!! Dinner was nice but service was very slow on this visit - 20 minutes just to be offered a drink then a further 20 minutes for the food order to be taken. On this stay it appeared that the hotel/pub was just highly unstaffed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, right by the sea (a short walk down on to the beach at Botany Bay) and a fantastic view from the rstaurant / bar. The room was very comfortable and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Everything was great, there wasn't anything I'd change.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, atmosphere, food
Cons: Second room was arranged in an awkward way for elderly occupant with mobility problems, but it was nearby as requested
7.0 Good
Pros: dog friendly and great food.
Cons: room was too hot on 1st night we all woke up like we were sleeping in a sauna. states has Wi-Fi but in order to access it you have to create a Sky account which I was not going to do. So we had no Wi-Fi during our stay. This is quiet a unique arrangement, having stayed in hotels all over the world and all you need is a pass code.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is at the end of a road overlooking the beach. It’s on the vikings trail path. The bed was so comfortable and staff very friendly. We will be back.

Royal Albion Hotel - Broadstairs - Building
12
8.4 Excellent (1,315 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Royal Albion Hotel in Broadstairs, you'll be on the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Botany Bay and Margate Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed at the Royal Albion for years. The facilities are great and the rooms are always spotless and well equipped with toiletries and refreshments.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated on top of the cliffs above the centre of the best beach in the whole of Kent and within seconds of all the main facilities, The Royals Albion is not only THE place to stay in Broadstairs, but it is also a very important social hub for the locals too - particularly those with dogs as it is a very canine friendly place. To get to the beach, walk out the back door garden area and cross the promenade to the top of the steps down to the beach - what could be simpler. My single room overlooking the street not the sea, was warm, comfortable, well appointed and ideal for my needs. It is an old building and there are no lifts, so negotiating the winding staircases is not easy if you are not so mobile. But I would stay their again any time. The staff were excellent. the food was pretty good - the Vegan Planet burger was amazingly good - and the bar prices reasonable. There are also a dozen or more decent eateries - including a fantastic vegan cafe - seconds away and plenty of pubs too. If you want to stray further afield, a bus stop less than a minute's walk away puts you on The Thanet Loop service which runs from Margate to Ramsgate and all points in between for just £2.70 return. Broadstairs is Kent's answer to Padstow and this is it's best known hotel, but for all that, it is good value for money and well worth staying in.
Cons: A hotel of this standard really needs a dedicated Wifi in this day and age. Relying on The Cloud is not a good idea as it does not work everywhere and keeps dropping out. I'd also question the amount of furniture out in the open space area, particularly the wooden thing and the new outdoor bar which obscures the view from the dining room of what ought to be the best sea view in the whole of Kent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Great location. Tasty breakfast
Cons: The hot water temperature for the bath/shower was set too low and could not be increased. It was just hot enough for a shower but I was unable to have a bath as the water was not hot enough
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect central location. Really good veggie breakfast.
Cons: Only downside is no parking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Tenth year we have visited. Always a pleasure to stay! Local restaurants and pubs on your doorstep!
Cons: It's a shame the sea view is ruined by shed under construction, presumably built for summer trade. Was always nice to look at the beach in the morning.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location very good with sea views
Cons: Car parking was specified on the web site - there was no car parking other than a pay and display down the road and round the corner - £5 per day. The Guest Services booklet specified that "car parking vouchers" were available from the reception - they were not. We were told rather curtly by staff that the vouchers had been discontinued. For a £100+ per night hotel we did not expect to be scrabbling about with pay and display tickets
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location brilliant and staff very friendly
Cons: No car park

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Arrived having booked a disabled room , was told oh this happens a lot , No disabled room available only room offered was on the 3rd floor Lady on desk said sorry but nothing from the management who didn’t seem to bother that he’d spoiled our stay. Just bluntly offered a refund , that we have to wait 3days to get your money back . Please if your disabled and need a room either check first or really don’t bother with this place
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff - all of them! 100% dog friendly. Bed was comfortable. Cheese and biscuits (free) at 10pm next to the fire in the living room very nice. Good location.
Cons: Steep winding stairs with heavy fire doors were difficult to navigate.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Local to the Harbour where we wanted to be surrounded by many facilities
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was warm and comfortable and there were lovely lounges downstairs for guests to use. There was a lovely fire in the first living room and free cheese and biscuits at 10pm.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that although we were told that we could have a fire in our room, it was made up with just a couple of firelighters and didn't stay alight and there was no wood to keep it going. Also when we checked in we were told that we got no breakfast because we had booked on booking.com!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: well, i really wasn't expecting much as i only paid 68 quid for me and my boyfriend. But the place exceeded my expectations. It was a beautiful Georgian house hotel. It was quirky with many living room areas with roaring fires, and honesty bars (which you dont get a lot of anymore). Our bedroom overlooked the harbor and the silence was amazing. It was so peaceful and the room was so cute. I melted into the bed. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel but it smelt delicious. Instead we took a stroll down by the harbor and popped into one of the cafes under the arches. It was a lovely stay and I would recommend the place to all my friends and family.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't have breakfast. Would definitely return here with family for a break
7.5 Good
Pros: Booked sea room, view was lovely and the location was good. Nice decor. Price was reasonable for time of year. Room was clean

7.1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast and Remy was welcoming and friendly. Great location close to family so we would stay again.
Cons: However we wish we had been advised of the 60th karaoke party in the bar and the implication this would have to our stay, as the floor of the room was vibrating until midnight and we heard every word of each and every party guest. Thankfully the had a good choice of karaoke tunes. Not much soundproofing.

Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HERE AS POSSIBLE !! Absolutely disgusting and filthy, mattresses were ancient and you could feel all the springs, carpets were all stained, towels were mucky and bathroom if you could call it that looked like it had never been cleaned. We checked in for 4 nights and checked out after 1 night. The lift that it says it has was condemned last year but they still advertise it. I wouldn’t have let my dog stay there.
Cons: EVERYTHING
6.3 Good
Pros: Good price
Cons: A bit old fashion

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, breakfast
Cons: I was on one floor my parents were on another wouldve been nice to have rooms near each other
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfy and the room was clean and a good size. Lovely bathroom. Parking was easy.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. My husband ordered the full English with fried egg and it came with no egg and a pile of salmon on top of the bacon. I ordered salmon and scrambled eggs on a toasted muffin and got a plate of scrambled eggs only. They changed this when l asked but the muffin was still not toasted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are great it's an old building but very modern inside staff are so friendly and could not do enough for you we found we liked the bar meals were better for us
Cons: Food in the restaurant was not for us ,but bar meals we liked
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The b`fast was buffet style, hot and cold, plenty of choice. The location was 7 mins walk to the town. Plenty of parking spaces.
Cons: The noise of the overhead heating during the night and the coffee at b`fast was awfull, left it.
