10.0 Excellent
Pros: Badgers Hall is a wonderful home from home. Karen and Paul are exceptional hosts. From the initial welcome and intro to our room right through to our leaving they couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. They make the perfect team to run a B&B.
Cons: Badgers Hall is a listed property with all that goes with an old building so watch out for those low beams and sloping floors. It would be wrong to say that we didn't like these features. On the contrary, they complement the quaintness of this idyllic Cotswold hide away but it might not be for everybody eg those with mobility issues or who might find climbing a few stairs a problem
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Authentic Old Cotswold dwelling
Cons: Could hear people above our room walking round.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic, hosts were amazing, food excellent, and room was beautiful.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything and were blown away by the hospitality of the owners Paul and Karen, the coziness and home-like feeling of the tea/breakfast room, and our perfectly sized warm room, with an ensuite bathroom fitted with modern clean facilities. The breakfast was exceptional, and the tea and cakes we had upon arrival was perfect after a long trip. We also loved Bertie.
Cons: Nothing

The Fish Hotel - Broadway - Building
4
9.3 Excellent (777 reviews)
7.5 Good
Pros: The restaurant and communal areas are really cozy
Cons: The rooms are overpriced for what you get, they are nice but very basic. At £195 per night they are too much
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely, the room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. There was a Smeg fridge in the reception area of the Stables with small bottles of fresh milk which was a great idea. We ate in the main restaurant, the Hook, on our first night and had tacos in the bar on our second night - both meals were excellent. The staff were aware that it was our anniversary and mentioned it several times, which was a nice touch. A lovely place to stay for a couple of days.
Cons: Nothing much to say here other than it would be nice if there had been a spa area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful, the food was delicious and the amenities are very useful, especially the wellies to borrow!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was superb, good size, excellent fittings & size, and very quiet. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Breakfast was fresh & well cooked.
Cons: Our shower was a little less impressive than we would have expected with rather low pressure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Friendly staff, fab location, comfy and contemporary accommodation. Only thing I’d say is maybe do more self catering accommodation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The photos do not do this place justice. It was amazing from start to finish. They have thought of everything. We absolutely loved the private cinema with sweets and popcorn. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very cosy and stylish. We will certainly be back.
Cons: So whilst we had a wonderful stay there were a few things which could/need to be improved - there is a horrible smell by the stables which is very unpleasant - at times we could very clearly hear our next door neighbours conversation and the doors would not properly shut meaning every time someone came indoors the door would bang. - no mini bar in the room. You can order wine & beer to the room but it’s all bottles. I unfortunately like neither so this wasn’t ideal and is quite limiting. - room service menu was quite limiting. You can only order pizza.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely surroundings and great walks around the property and into the local village! Wish we had brought the dogs now as it’s perfect for them! Breakfast was superb and The Hook restaurant was very good in the evening! We loved the games room and bar! The room was very clean and a perfect size We really enjoyed our stay!
Cons: It would be a lovely addition if they had a spa/gym that would make the property perfect

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful and well mannered. Attention to detail. General atmosphere of a small country house hotel...cosy. The cat! Excellent cooking
Cons: Only one red meat on the a la carte menu each night...the same meat, venison each night. I like venison but would have preferred lamb or beef one night. Choice of Riojas limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent
Cons: Paying for tea for two in lounge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Breakfast on both days of our visit. We arrived the day after the hotel had put up the Christmas decorations and this along with the log fires in each lounge just added to a very warm and cosy atmosphere. The weather could have been better, however, even on a return from a trip to Broadway one of the conceiege came out with umbrellas to make sure we kept dry in our walk from the car to reception. A lovely stay and lovely staff.
Cons: We are not sure we can think of anything that we disliked. The Buckland Manor is consistent with the quality and comfort of all the Andrew Brownsword hotels that we have had the pleasure of staying in.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Upon arrival we were greeted by the bar manager who was completely rude and unwelcoming, if it wasn’t for the lady who checked us in it would have been the worst check in experience we have ever received! At night we were kept awake by the noise from the restaurant below, then woken up by the noise in the morning. The only positives are the location and comfortable bed. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else if you want a peaceful sleep.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about it, set in lovely grounds.
Cons: Nothing, lovely place to stay
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was good
Cons: The Spa needed refurbishment and a good clean. The area around the steam room was tatty, and there was green mould on the bottom of the floor to ceiling windows. The changing rooms were cramped and not very clean and the sauna was out of operation. I would have expected more in the line of spa treatments and relaxing areas. The staff were pleasant but lacking in training.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice food and great location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds comfy duvet cosy
Cons: In my opinion. The price of starters and desserts were way too expensive..9 pds for a small portion of whitebait and 9pds for dessert is way. Overpriced. We would not eat in the hotel again. The local pub was really excellent. With good presentation.Their prices very reasonable
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were excellent. great location. would be better to stay in the Summer months.
Cons: Did not get the room I paid for. wanted a hot tub,but the boiler was not working.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The external view of the property was one of a beautiful old house which had been maintained in keeping with its age.
Cons: Whilst the room was advertised as a double, it was in fact, a single with too much furniture crammed into it. A console table with tea making facilities was squeezed into position at one side of the bed much too close for safety. The room was tired in appearance with substandard workmanship needing professional attention.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bedroom view, the fizz on arrival and t&c facilities
Cons: The food service for dinner and breakfast was far too rushed. The communal areas need a quick refurb eg lick of paint. The drawing room had a dirty carpet and the log fire wasn’t on despite it being cold. The pool could have been a little warmer!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was superb with plenty of choice. The Menu was changed each day. Breakfast served with a smile and lovely choice of everything that we like. Staff very friendly and attentive without being obtrusive.
Cons: There is nothing really that we didn't like although maybe some of the decor could be altered, however the traditional furnishings were all part of the charm.

Pros: The bed was lovely large and comfortable and the rooms were plenty warm. The food was very good at dinner. The food at breakfast was fantastic too.
Cons: It took a long time to be served at breakfast, which took away from the luxury feeling of the stay - over 10 mins for someone to take our order.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent vegetarian breakfast.
Cons: Car Park. The state of the car park was absolutely appalling. It has been mentioned on trip advisor previously (not recently!) and management said it was going to be dealt with. It hasn't!! Whilst we were there, one gentleman came in complaining about the muddy state of his shoes after using the car park and a member of staff offered to clean his shoes for him.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, very friendly and helpful staff. And, we got free room upgrades
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
8.8 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Cons: Lack of a toilet brush in the bathroom!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was convenient for my purposes and the hotel is well maintained. There is ample on site parking.
Cons: The room was basic and cramped - even for one person. There was no room for my small overnight suitcase and no proper hanging space. The bathroom was minuscule, though functional. No room for the washbasin, which was an overspill into the bedroom.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: loved the biscuits in the room :)
9.6 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely comfortable bed, good shower and amazing breakfast. Our rooms were ready early, really appreciated that.
Cons: Only small thing but milk would have been nice to make a cup of tea
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, staff was very pleasant
Cons: The noise, from the bar, the fact that breakfast said included but it wasn’t even had to pay for tea and coffee with breakfast, meal wasn’t all it made out to be sorry
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, room, good bar with fantastic menu
5.0 Okay
Pros: Food / service was exceptional (lunch)
Cons: Bar was closed, therefore no amenities. As a result had to go to our room at 6pm. When we did come back to the closed pub, our key into the back door did not work, leaving us to have to knock on front door. If it wasn’t for the manager being there at the time, we may have been locked out all night. Cooked breakfast not included in price which was disappointing.
6.0 Good
Pros: Lovely evening meal and staff went out of their way to accommodate us . Fresh milk in the room fridge was a real luxury .
Cons: The room was very small, although nice to have a big bed it left almost no floor space . The price was expensive considering a cooked breakfast wasn't included and in today's climate changing world I think the menu should contain more vegetarian / vegan options ..especially veggie sausages for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay in a lovely place near to Chipping Camden and 45 minutes from Warwick, Worcester, Cheltenham. A lovely village pub with rooms - perfect!
Cons: All good!
3.2 Mediocre
Pros: There were very few if any good points.
Cons: Could not check in until 6 pm. Room was small with no chairs. tv was small, ancient without a remote control. Despite particularly cold weather the heating never came on. From ordering breakfast, it took 40 minutes to arrive. Food was unimpressive and not value for money. Safe car parking virtually impossible.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals and breakfast excellent. Room excellent. Staff pleasant and couldn't do enough for you.
Cons: No bad points really except not being able to book in until 6.00 pm
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was better than some 5 star hotels we've stayed in as was the evening meal.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very nice, modern but classical. Food was excellent.
Cons: Check-in can be slightly problematic as it is only available when the bar is open, which is after 6pm mid-week.
7.2 Good
Pros: Charming location, very atmospheric pub / hotel with old world feel. Staff very helpful and competent. Food excellent. Bed very comfortable. Clean throughout
Cons: No shower over bath (I believe due to water tank installation problems). Lighting in room not in keeping with decor. Decor a little faded in both the bedroom and bathroom. Access to room from pub / outside rather tatty. Food, although, as above, excellent was rather expensive.

Cons: Little bit noise by are room, air conditioning
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant accommodation. Clean. Warm. Homely. Beds were very confortable. Fantastic location. The staff were very helpful in advising where was good to go for a run.
Cons: The only dampener was that we did not realise how important it is to book a dinner well in advance. It would have been helpful if the staff had advised us of this earlier. The outcome was that we had nowhere to eat dinner. All of the local eateries were fully booked. We visited in the period just before new year so it may have been especially busy. However, if we had warning, we could have booked somewhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Homely and full of character.
Cons: N/A
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great service and food was amazing !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate in the Noel Arms last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back and stay. Yet again the food was excellent and our room was very quirky. We are looking forward to a return visit later this year.
Cons: We did find the receptionist a little rude when booking in again when leaving. As they are the first person you meet when staying we were a bit dissapointed. We left a tip for the resturant staff and there was no thank you from the receptionist. The staff in the bar and resturant where excellent and very attentive.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was nice with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. There was also a TV that had movies channels and things like that. If you are looking for room service and things like that then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable stay at a small Inn in England with friendly staff and an opportunity to mingle with locals and other travelers then this place is great! We loved it and it was exactly what we wanted. Also, the food at the Indian restaurant was VERY good. Even if you don't think you like Indian food or you don't have a lot of experience with it give it a try. It was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip.
