Our vehicle was fine, however I prepaid online and was not shown any paperwork or screens at check in. Upon checkout in the parking lot, I get a bill texted to me with an extra $200 in charges I never agreed to. I will never rent with Budget again.Reviewed 27 Apr 2026

Pick up was inconvenient; staff was all over the place and couldn’t locate my original reservation. Tried to charge me almost twice the original agreed upon price. Also should have mentioned a $200 security deposit being added to the total balance from the beginning. Biggest annoying factor was that I had to make sure I wouldn’t be charged for prior damage done to the vehicle I picked up. Driver side mirror completely gone. Definitely sketch when going to drop off my car and they ask if I did the damage myself. Seems like there should be better communication on the company’s part when giving out damaged rides. My Budget Camry rental was upgraded to a new Chrysler Pacifica, and the van was a comfortable hybrid with a smooth ride, easy-to-use controls, and excellent mileage.
