Pros:Tried to pick up the car early was told I had to wait hours until noon then was told at noon nothing was available and then they were going to downgrade the car so it would be cheaper I said I didn’t want the insurance they insisted and it was double the price. Deceptive business practicesPros:Car itself drove fine, although one side had major body damage that had not been fixed.Cons:The total cost was nearly 40% more than the quoted price. Although the booking indicated that the final cost included various fees and taxes, they took that cost as the base and added additional taxes/fees. They had two versions of the rental contract, one showing the lower online price, and another for the actual cost. They would not honor the online price.Reviewed 31 Dec 2017

terrible customer serviceCons:Car ordered was not available. Told Kia would be swapped for the ordered mustang. No upgrade or discount offered. When agent was instructed to provide mustang or refund, agent refused to serve and provide service. Long lineups in PBI and no in terminal rentals available.Reviewed 28 Dec 2017

Don't trust your 'confirmation' to be confirmation for a car!Pros:The car was lovely and drove well.Cons:The pick-up experience was horrendous. After a hellish day of travel, I was so relieved to finally be in Santiago and pick up my rental car so I could head to my hotel for some sleep. I arrived around 11:30pm and was told that I wouldn't be able to pick up my car until 8:00 or 9:00am!!! Even though I had a confirmed reservation! I jokingly said, "so, what...you just want me to sleep in the airport?" (Mind you, I'm a young, solo, female traveler.) And he said, "yup, sorry - there are other people who made reservations earlier than you." What does that even mean?! In my eyes a reservation is a reservation is a reservation...how can you prioritize that?? I tried to find a safe spot in the airport for me and my luggage, but definitely wasn't able to sleep. At 5:00am I literally BEGGED the guy at the counter to give me my car, which, you know, I HAD RESERVED! He begrudgingly agreed and at 5:30 I was finally on my way. Would never, ever, ever rent from Budget again!Reviewed 5 Dec 2017
