The cars available were clearly not medium SUVs and the woman at the desk insisted they were the same category. She was very vague, didn’t offer us insurance and instead told us we had a £50,000 excess. We also didn’t get given a contract or any paper with a vague promise of an email which never arrived so we had to insist and hang around for ages. The whole process took 2 hours late at night with 3 tired kids and an angry queue of people. Ridiculous. Plus still don’t have the invoice from them. Eventually she offered us a car from a different category that fitted the description for the same price. She should have done that from the beginning.Reviewed 27 Aug 2025

friendly reception in particular those showing the car and receiving the car back. The very big disappointment was on the actual price we had to pay FAR excessive of anything we had experienced before.. not the 339$ but 859 (hence nearly x3 !!!) !! => as insurance was not included and as we needed to have a set of snowchains in the car (not weather-wise required but as we were staying in a house slightly uphill in an area where such chains must be available in the car). Anyway, we paid double for 1-week rental compared to 1-year ago with another company for a 2-week rental (at Bergerac airport) including full insurance.... In conclusion: we will NEVER make such booking again (via Kayak or Budget).Reviewed 1 Jan 2024
