Pros: Friendliness of staff - seems like they have had some training in US customer service
Cons: My rental car had issues so had to find an alternative car. But not such a big deal really.
Staff all wanted to shake hands - must be a new training thing - unnecessary in my opinion.

Pros: From the time i got to the desk I was looked after I met no for my car and he gave my a fantastic upgrade as my car wasn't ready as I just arrived / walk in customer I will use enterprise before ant other company in future

Pros: Requested a Nissan Pathfinder for third row of seats. Its not a car enterprise UK carries in their fleet anymore so they offered us a SEAT Alhambra people carrier (mini van) for same price. We had it for 18 days and it was a great car for the money. Wish they had them in the U.S.!
Cons: I reserved my car with Thrifty at Glasgow Airport. However,, when I tried to decline the company's insurance and use the coverage on my credit card, they insisted on written proof of coverage. Who carries around something like that?! I offered the phone number to the credit card company but they declined to call. Never again.

Pros: The car was decent and in line with what was promised upon booking. Picking up the car was pretty painless except for finding the actual desk itself.
Cons: Upon arriving in the international airport, there is no clear signage that the rental car desk is in the domestic terminal and we had to lug all our luggage around trying to find it.
Pick-up of rental car is a short walk from the terminal, however if you are trying to navigate this with a lot of luggage in the torrential rain, it is not a lot of fun as they are doing roadworks between the terminal and the rental car pick-up. The walkway is uncovered and not level for easy navigation with trolleys / luggage.
A 35 minute wait when you arrive just to speak with someone is not OK.
Pros: Representative understood our frustration and upgraded us.
Cons: Ridiculous ticket system meant waiting 35mins just to speak to someone. Arriving late at night with small children this system was painful. If you know how many people booked surely you can make the pick up a lot smoother. The other carhire companies did not seem to be having the same problems.
Also - directions on the print out were not how you actually get to the 'new' car hire centre.
