Alas time stands still - an afternoon tea in this grand but dazzling lobby - well appointed rooms and dining options. The “small” structure is not limiting nor intimidate but just right. The front desk especially Rain and Ana went out of their ways to accommodate requests. A lovely hotel.

Pros (+) The location.
Cons (-) This place needs a serious overhaul. The furniture is ancient and damaged. The shower fixture was falling off the wall. The mattresses are NOT comfortable. I don’t care that it’s a historical hotel - they market it as lux and it’s not. Even after an “upgrade” to a “Top of the Brown” “suite” - I won’t be back. I’d have been livid and f I’d paid for the “suite”.
